Comment: Needed a last minute headlight repair on my car, I tried doing it myself but ended up breaking the light bulb in the housing unit. I called around to about 15 different mechanics and they were all rude, quoted me $300+, half of them told me I couldn’t bring in my own headlights to be changed out… I just moved to Kalamazoo in early January and this is my first experience with mechanics in this area.I called Zolmans and Brian answered, I explained to him my issue and he told me he has a guy who can fix my problem with the car. They had availability the morningI called and their pricing is reasonable! I was in and out in about an hour or so, I talked with Brian a lot as I was waiting for my car to be finished. Definitely a great guy and very very knowledgeable of the industry. I will be back again for my future vehicle needs.

Specifically an older gentleman who runs the front. He has a chip on his shoulder, for sure. They almost convinced me I didn’t set up an appointment but I confirmed through my call logs.All that being said, they still took me in. They thought there was a possibility that I was lying to them about my appointment, but still honored it. That’s pretty admirable. They did a good job. Ally and the mechanics were very patient. They tried to help me with a pre-purchase inspection (though, the guy that was selling didn’t show)… but they were still so nice about it even though it was a waste of everyone’s time which I was thankful for. The next time I had to get in contact - they were very helpful when it came to getting in and checking out my Fiancé’s grandpas Buick we had gotten. Comment: This location used to be Kendall auto so I was very hesitant to replace my sway bars with a new business at the property.When I came in I was surprised how helpful they were. The Techs obviously knew what they were doing and had my car in and out within half a business day replacing my sway bars and removing a rusted out heat plate.For a suspension/misc. repair my bill was substantially lower than other repair shops here in Kalamazoo.I highly recommend any novice car owner that does not know much about their vehicle to take their issues here. They will make sure you are taken care of unlike Uncle Ed’s, crossroads auto service, or Muffler Man.

I remembered that there was a auto shop about 50 yards away (Zolmans) so I drove in and they got me right in. As it turns out, there was a very small pebble caught in my brake. They kept the pebble for me and didnt charge me a thing. What nice people they are. I highly recommend them.

I had bought the truck used at 24k and didnt know if this was already performed by the dealer or previous owner. I came back to pick the truck up 2 hours later and the tech let me know that they checked the tread wear and alignment and the truck looked fine, and that they had greased the suspension as asked. Despite the truck being looked at, put up for alignment, held on the lot, and greased I was told at the counter it would be no charge. With me being unsure of what the vehicle needed it would have been easy for the shop to have performed the service in order to charge me.My experience was excellent and the staff were kind, patient, and easy to work with. I will be returning for all of my future automotive service needs.

Before using Kendalls services, I found I was not treated fairly, which has always been my fear, as a woman that knows very little about auto issues! Many times it resulted in over priced repairs, and returns for not addressing the issue. That has NEVER happened with Kendall. From the first repair to my most recent, today, the pricing has been very fair. Ive never felt taken advantage of, in fact, I feel they go above and beyond to make sure I understand my repair and charges. This week, I had an issue with my GMC that made it so I wouldnt be able to go away on a trip I had planned, if it couldnt be repaired the next day. They worked hard to squeeze my repair in, even though they are booked two weeks out (must be everyone knows how good this place is!). It was done so quick, and I was beyond relieved when it came back with a very low repair price!!! Thanks Steve for your commitment to quality repairs at fair prices. Ill continue to take my vehicles here, and refer anyone who asks me, Where can I find a trustworthy repair shop!?
