Comment: Dave was awesome! We are not local to the Waterford area and needed to bring our Ram Promaster City in to get our rear coil spring reattached the same day. (we needed to get back home to Lansing, after all!)All other shops wouldnt get us in, but Waterford Garage did and fixed us up within an hour!!We were greeted by an ADORABLE Yorkie named Monte, and he was such a comfort in a stressful situation.Thank you, Waterford Garage! Dave & Travis (?) took care of those, replaced my rear light that was busted from an accident, did an oil change, engine cleaning and a couple of other things. Very pleased with the service I received and will be taking my other cars there when I can. Communication was fine & the piece was reasonable. Doesnt hurt that Dave is a dog lover with little Monte there to greet customers.

Comment: I needed a coolant flush and Dave was able to get me in quickly. He discovered some other issues and was very thorough in explaining was was needed and why. Travis and Dave did a great job fixing my car and when I went to pick it up they showed me the parts that were replaced and answered all my questions. Monty the yorkie is so cute and greeted me both times when I dropped off and picked up my car, he made me smile. I would recommend this garage if you need maintenance and repairs.

Comment: I had just bought a car and its started to make a noise. I ended up doing the generic google search mechanics near me. I ended up taking my car in to get it looked at here and I had one of the best experiences in my life. Well firstly the girl at the front desk was so sweet. We chatted about our similarities in our name and it was a really wholesome exchange. They have the cutest well behaved little pupper and hes very friendly. The mechanic working on my car was able to identify the problem and the following day he fixed it and it been running like a charm since. The shop is well maintain and very clean. They price match and help find parts in your budget. All around the auto shop is great and I would recommend to anyone looking to get there car fixed for a great price and hang out with a yorkie in the process.

Comment: I highly recommend Waterford Garage! Dave is a really nice guy and did his best to work around my schedule to get the job done. Hes not the cheapest youll find but you get what you pay for. They are very transparent about prices and what needs to be done and they get it done quick and they get it done right. The quotes are broken down to the penny as to where the expense of repairs will go. How much each part will cost, how much labor will cost. No surprises. I have a hard time trusting mechanics but i felt good about this experience. Ill definitely be back. And one of the best things about this place is if you get stuck waiting there for a bit while they do the work, youve got a little ball of cuteness to keep you company. His little dog named Monty Carlo. What a good boy 😁

Comment: I am from out of town. Upon arrival my muffler was roaring, the vehicle was not accelerating properly, and in general it was running very poorly. I had to get it looked at as soon as possible, or I was not going to make it home safely. Dave opened his garage to me before the opening hour, and moved my repairs to the top of the priority list. Additionally, he gave me a ride to my destination so I didnt need to wait at the shop. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be fixed after he and Travis were able to check it out, and he offered me amazing prices to have my laundry list of repairs completed. He was then prompt in the completion of my repairs, then came to pick me up on the test drive.Vehicle troubles are always inconvenient and can be very unpredictable and stressful financially. Its obvious that Dave understands that and did everything he could in order for these issues to be as easy as possible on the mind and on the wallet.I really dont know what I would have done if Dave and Travis wouldnt have been so accommodating and generous. No one ever wants to experience car trouble, especially when far from home, but Im certainly grateful that I was near Waterford Garage when it happened.I am reassured that good people, and honest work still exist. Comment: Very grateful!!!Came in a few days ago for a cv axle to be replaced. was going to do it myself but the axle nut was beyond stuck and pretty much welded to the hub.This shop managed to cut off the cv axle nut without damaging the cv axle.Then told me the cv axle is in great shape (not what another shop tried telling me) and no need to replace it. Instead a few bolts were loose in the front end which they tightened up and threw a new axle nut on there.This shop saved me hundreds of dollars.Highly recommend !!!

Comment: I highly recommend Waterford Garage! They are the straight up and down Mechanic Shop that you are looking for. From my first encounter - they radiate a fair, transparent, do good, know what they are doing approach. They are fast, reliable, honest. The quotes are broken down to the penny as to where the expense of repairs will go. How much each part will cost, how much labor will cost. It is all black and white which I really appreciate. It is hard to have to hire an expert that you have to trust - so I can highly recommend that from my experiences I would say this is one of the good ones. I brought them an older Foreign car (2001 Lexus SC430) and they did not even blink. Went the extra yards to find the parts that were needed (not easy in this market) and the communication during the whole process was better than I expected. The boss seems like he has been doing this since he was born and he has surrounded himself with very good, kind natured, honest people. 5 stars! Thanks guys! We love our car and are very happy to have found our mechanic team!

I called the night before I had my car fixed and Dave was able to get my car in the next morning. They dont open until 8 but he let me come in and bring my car in at 7:30 and my car was completely and totally done within a couple of hours. My car would have been finished sooner, however, a lady came in very abruptly because she had a flat tire and needed to be to work by 9 a.m. and Dave stopped everything that he was doing so he could specifically help this woman get a tire on to make it to work on time. These are the types of places that are only concerned for their customers and NOT about just making a quick buck. Dave was able to explain everything that I needed to get done on my car, but he wasnt pushing me to get everything done so he could get a quick payday. He explained what needed to be done and what could wait just a little while, while we fixed the other things. Dave didnt talk to me like I was an idiot, and took the time to explain answers to all my questions as well as explained what else needed to be done and WHY. I have four small kids so Dave even offered to drive me home as well as pick me up once the car was finished. Theres also perks for repeat customers, you get a pretty big discount off of all of your services. I went back in about 5 days after my services to ask Dave a question I had about my car, and when I walked through the door I was greeted by my name as well as he asked how the car was driving and asked if everything was still working on my brakes and my rotors. Dave remember me by my name as well as what he did to my car and what my car was. This is huge considering that was my first time being there. It feels good to know that there are still companies out there that are more concerned for their customers than they are about just making money. The same job I had done for less than $700 with Dave I was quoted for over $1300 at a few of these big car dealerships. I could go on and on about the service and how great Dave and his team were and this was only my first time being there. Thank you very much Dave and I highly highly highly recommend Waterford garage.

Comment: I could only imagine working/running a mechanic shop must be stressful. Having to deal with customers, like me who are hurting for money with heavy car repair bills. My Dad helped me tow my Escape to Waterford Garage and it was my first time leaving keys in a drop box overnight so it worked to leave my car there over night. The shop was VERY busy on Saturday, so it wasnt until Monday that they could even look at my car (understandable) Once they did, a long list of Needs repair came back. The owner was very willing to work with me. I decided on the repairs I didnt need/want (wanting to trade in my car for a 6 cylinder tax time) and they were able to order the parts, which they received that night. Some of his mechanic guys got started right away (even before they technically opened) at 6am to get a head start on my car. They repair the idler pulley, new belt and changed my oil (I had one quart in it...opps! Im lucky my car engine didnt blow up!!!) Anyways, they ran into another issue that I was (for the most part) aware of. I knew I didnt have A/C and that my cousin had put in a used one last summer, so granted the ac compressor seized up and the belt snapped, so we had to fix that. Again, the owner was able to get me a good deal on parts and labor to help me out because I am a single parent and could use the help! He seems to really know his stuff about cars and might even help me to find my next Escape. I need a new one for the towing capacity and he suggested that I bring any car I am interested in to his shop and he will do a free inspection of the car to make sure its not a hoopty as he called it! haha

I called Waterford Garage on a whim because it was nearby and had good reviews. These reviews back up the service I received. I made a phone call describing my problem on Wednesday, got scheduled for Thursday. The part prices were below any other place I could find. Comment: I just took my saturn Ion in yesterday to have the exhaust repaired. Dave and Robert pointed out a very serious safety hazard involving my steering column. As they were explaining to me what needed to be done my initial thought was that i couldnt afford it, however, Dave gave me a more than reasonable price on both repairs. Now my saturn drives better than ever, i couldnt be more satisfied with the services that were provided at the Waterford Garage. Oh and they cleaned my headlights for free! 5/5, theyve gained another loyal customer.

Comment: I recently took my vehicle here to be serviced for the first time, and will continue going back. This was the best experience Ive ever had with a repair shop. Sitting at a shop waiting for my vehicle to be fixed with a toddler is stressful, but not this time. The wonderful owner shuttled my son and I back to our home so we didnt have to wait at the shop. He then picked us back up to go pick up my vehicle when it was finished. Talk about EXCELLENT customer service! As if that wasnt enough to earn my loyalty as a customer, I was also kept updated on the progress of the repairs, the repairs were completed in just a few hours and they even did some extra maintenance on my leaky exhaust for me!

Comment: I really like the fact that its family owned and operated. Husband and wife are a great team. They helped my mother when other places wanted to charge her way more. They were quick and thorough. Been there twice. They will from now on maintenance my vehicle I suggest you give them a try. I would also like to say they gave my mom a free oil change which i didnt know until Dave brought to my knowledge. Which she needed and was very kind. She bought a vehicle ended up having alot of issues and dave has helped and didnt over charge or be rude in any way. Thanks Waterford Garage

Comment: THIS PLACE SAVED ME A TON OF MONEY---WELL DONE!!! What a pleasure it is to find an HONEST business these days---especially mechanics!!! I definitely recommend that you stop wasting hundreds of your hard earned dollars at dealerships and take your car to this garage!Heres what happened: I had just purchased a pretty decent Chevy Equinox about a month and a half earlier. Then the heat went out on it. After a few weeks driving around freezing my ears off, I called the dealership. They said it may cost 200.00 and I would have to pay an $85.00 diagnostic fee.Since I had just brought the car and pay for half a years insurance, this was bad news! I drive by Waterford Garage daily and I decided to check them out after reading the other great reviews. I took my car in and they called me a few hours later at my job: Maam, there is a technical bullitan out on your car--its like a recall. I cant take your money for a repair like this---your dealer should do it for freeSo they printed up the bulletin and off I went to my dealership. Of course their eyes glazed over and they started to throw figures at me. I whipped out my paper from Waterford Garage and they shut up and got it done for nothing!THANK YOU HONEST GOOD GUYS at WATERFORD GARAGE!!!!!! They could have taken my money and not said a thing----a lot of other shops would have too. I had them do a few other minor repairs and they were speedy and thorough and charged me a fair price. They even had a nice young man drop me off at my house. Take my word---they are great! My husband and I even brought them lunch to show our appreciation:)The Andersons

Comment: Waterford Garage was awesome! I took my car to two guys and a garage first. They charged me $40 to drive it around for a bit, then let it sit in the shop for 2 hours while they worked on other vehicles, then after looking online they called me and told me that 90% of techs agree its the spark plugs and wires which he they would change for only $409. What a joke! I changed them myself and it still wasnt the problem.So then I gave Waterford Garage a shot and was glad I did. They diagnosed and fixed the problem in only a few hours and my wallet still has cash in it because they gave me a fare price.Bottom line: You want a lot of guess work and an outrageous price take it to two guys, But if you want great work from an experienced mechanic who gives a fare price and treats you right take it to WATERFORD GARAGE!

Comment: Having just moved to Michigan a month ago, when my car needed some repairs, I asked my co-worker where to go. She sent me to Waterford Garage. My experience was exactly what she told me it would be. The mechanic explained everything in a way I could understand, and without pressure. What a relief! Ive had some bad experiences in the past so its nice to find somewhere where I feel I can trust what Im being told. The price was very reasonable (I called a few other places to make sure) and they even drove me to work while they did the work and picked me up when it was done. Ill definitely be going back :)
