Comment: I dropped my car off at Riverside Auto Care last week due to a gas leak. They informed me that that the fuel line was damaged and they would be able to repair the car on the same day they receive the part. When I went to pick up the car, I assumed I was just going to pay for the service they provided and be on my way. Instead, the gentleman brought me outside of the shop to:1. Show me the damaged fuel line that was underneath my car and explain why/how it got damaged.2. Explained to me how the fuel line was installed.3. Explained the reasoning the cost of the service they provided.It always a bummer having to cough up money for auto repairs, but Ive never experienced a auto shop going out of their way to explain in detail the what/why/how. This is something I did not ask for and it was greatly appreciated since Im not too savvy when it comes to auto repairs. Previous auto shops Ive gone to will just collect your money, hand you your keys, and youre on your way. It was definitely a great experience getting my car fixed at Riverside Auto Care.

Comment: For the last three years or so I’ve been bringing my cars here to John and his team at Riverside Auto in Southgate on Fort St. I don’t know about anyone else but I’d rather have someone tell me straight up “here’s what’s wrong and what it’s gonna cost” or “this is something we can’t do” etc. John and his guys is someone I definitely trust my family’s cars with. Family of 5 and we have taken 5 cars here and I’ve never ONCE been disappointed in the service or the result. They’ve been right every time. Yes one time I was major engine repair and he told me “don’t waste your money, it’s gonna cost more than it’s worth to fix” and didn’t charge me hardly anything even though he and his guys spent a TON of time on it. I genuinely believe they want to be of good service to people and do right by others. I hate I’m moving now out of state because I’ll have to find someone else to build up trust with.Feel confident taking your cars there. Take a minute, build a report with him and let them tell it to you straight. Take em a couple cases of good beer and show them your appreciation 😉

Comment: Took 2 other vehicles here when purchasing, they inspected and told me nothing was wrong or needed to be fixed, they could’ve easily charged me but they were HONEST and didn’t lie. So it was an easy decision when my sons Jeep had issues. At first John said it was going to be about $3500 to fix what was wrong, another place also confirmed. John worked miracles, he called other states to find the parts we needed, he only had the Jeep for about a week, that’s how long it took to get the hard to find parts during Covid. Best news ever was when he told my son it was only $1100 to fix, parts, labor and all… I CANNOT thank this company enough. I will never go anywhere else, they’ve always been so honest and good to us. It’s not expensive, but it’s not cheap either!Although I am your first guest. Very good, try your best to help me and transfer the Parts!The new discs and brake pads, the maintenance technical department said they are good, but not the best. The left front wheel is a bit tight, although I know it can be solved by running in! Your technicians, the violent grinding is a bit scary!Fortunately, I changed the engine oil with new oil. Mind you I called about 30 minutes until close on a Friday with pricing questions on a car that hasnt even been seen yet. Comment: Thought I needed a whole new motor and couldnt afford to fix anything that was wrong with it! Brought my car here and I didnt need a motor but they took care of me with no problem! New heads, coil pack, plugs and wires.. Runs like new Havent had a problem with my car since I will definitely be going back!!!
