Comment: Tuffy really came in clutch. Had work done by another shop in town and it was poorly done. Tuffy was able to get my truck in and do the repairs the correct way with no issues. Trucks feels like it was fixed correctly now.

I have multiple vehicles Ive taken in and each time theyve gotten me in quickly, given me a detailed report, and have done a great job explaining the situation. Better yet, they do what most mechanics wont. Theyre honest and will tell you if something needs to be fixed right away or if it can wait. The one thing you get with most mechanics is b.s....You wont get b.s. from tuffy

Comment: I came in with rear brakes failing/grinding. Becca and team checked me in offered beverages in waiting area. The estimate came in simple and efficient to my phone to approve. They took time to answer my questions and offer solutions. Personable staff and great service. Scott was nice enough to offer me a ride home since I lived close by. Once repaired they called and offered a shuttle to pick me up. All went well and now Im back to a comfortable safe drive.

Comment: Cheap, quality service. When I went in, I just told them what needed done and they did the rest. Better to go early so you dont have to wait long. They always offer good advice on how to properly care for your car. They gave my car a free exam and gave me a fair estimate of everything that needed to be fixed. Way cheaper than a dealership. Would go again, highly recommend.Edit: under new ownership, but still great service! They now make appointments!

Comment: First time here for my oil & filter change and had a great experience. All staffs were nice and polite. Why didnt I come here before since it is just within 2 miles from where I live?Ill be bringing my cars here for services & maintenance from now on instead of going somewhere else further or my car dealers.Btw the mechanic was complimenting my shinny car and was asking what car wax I used. I couldnt remember at that time but now I found out its Optimum Car Wax. Please let the mechanic know. :-)Another review 2023/4/14:Fuel gauge was fluctuating and finally engine light came out. Called the dealer and they wont be available until like 2 weeks later and they told me it will take 5 days to diagnose. Not to mention how long it will take them to fix.So I called Tuffy and I was able to bring my car in the same day on Thursday even though they wont be able to check it out until the following day which was fine. Got a call from them on Monday morning saying they need to replace the fuel pump and they need to order. But later in the morning, they told me they were able to find the part and it was cheaper!! Yeah, I got my car in the afternoon and it is running great! Would never go back to the dealer and Tuffy is a lot close by.

Comment: I had a great experience with the guys at Tuffys I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs literally anything car repair wise done. I had my alternator go out on my 97 camaro while at work, and these guys were super friendly and helpful. They were not only able to get my car in and fixed within 48 hours, but recommended a great tow truck driver for my car. (It has ground effects that would normally get smashed if put on a normal tow truck) they gave me the number to a great tow company that had no problem sending out a flat bed and getting my car there safe and with no damages to the ground effects. The service was fast and super friendly and understanding, even though this was a last minute thing and had no planned prior appointment. I will be taking my car here for all future repairs! Comment: Top notch service. Friendly phone response. Fast turn around which included Saturday service. They met projected time-line for inspection. Speed of electrical repair was same day turn-around. I asked to have other possible issues checked in which they went above and beyond. Upon pick up, Dennis and Sal discussed my concerns with potential other issues in great detail along with giving me a heads up to other issues I was unaware of. In no way did they suggest to perform and push me for all of these extras on my vehicle type, rather give me all the necessary info I needed in order to proceed with future maintenance. I dont know what others might have charged for the diagnosis and repair I received for what it was brought in for, but found it reasonable for my budget.I have driven my vehicle for 2 days since the repair and so far, the condition I brought it in for has not been repeated. Dennis and Sal are a true asset to this business. I used this shop a few times prior to 2017 and was 100% satisfied then, too.Thank you Dennis, Sal and the team of mechanics who serviced my vehicle and went above and beyond to check and explain everything I asked for and more.

Comment: I called :30 before closing with a coolant light blinking on and off the night before Thanksgiving and with a big drive ahead of me. Jordan had me stop by and couldn’t have been more welcoming, accommodating or kind for this none-too-in-the-know car owner. Topped it off, diagnosed that it may be more of an electrical panel issue, and sent me on my way, feeling very safe and appreciative.Fast forward 2 weeks later: My son was about to drive his buddy’s car back to Pittsburg after the starter died while he was visiting. Jordan got the car right in while his friend rented a car to get back for a wedding. Jordan suggested a new battery as well, but the advice wasn’t taken. Low and behold, it didn’t start the evening of the drive back. Jordan got us right in, changed the battery and sent us on our way. His service and professionalism was only surpassed by his very obvious passion for what he does and the customer service he provides! Comment: These guys were absolutely wonderful!I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla. I took it to the dealership (big mistake!) and they told me there was a cylinder misfire. They said they would either have to tear down the entire engine or I would need to replace the engine. At the minimum, it would cost me thousands of dollars to save a car that barely had 100,000 miles on it.I decided to get a second opinion and took it to Tuffy. From my first conversation, there was a very good vibe and I felt optimistic. Sure enough, they were able to fix my problem at a fraction of the cost. All they had to do was take the valve cover off and fix a loose rocker.My car has been working great ever since and this place has earned my business for the foreseeable future!

Comment: My catalytic converter was nearly stolen and sawed off from the line to the muffler. There were also some saw cuts on the engine side of the cat as well.I called Tuffy in the afternoon, they told me to come first thing at 8am the following day.I arrived the next morning, was checked in, waited about 45min until they could get the car on the lift, and then they brought me out to my car to show me what they were seeing, showed me what they were going to do, and gave me an estimate. In less than an hour after that, they had welded up the lines and completed it a little cheaper than they thought. The guys there were all nice, good at explaining the plans, and easy to work with.Also, one of the guys who works up front at the desk used to work in the shop, so he totally knows what hes talking about and is great to work with.Awesome group of guys, quality work, and the welding beads look good and solid. (Its also wonderful that it doesnt sound like Im about to start drag racing down the road!)If I need car work again, Im definitely coming back here. I didnt feel like they were going to try to fleece me for being female, and they were nice, competent, and professional.Thank you!!

Comment: Last summer, I had my tires rotated and afterward there were alignment issues. I know that a rotation doesn’t cause alignment problems, but no one could help in diagnosing the correlation… until I landed here.This team figured out why the issues began and were able to make the repairs that morning!I couldn’t have been happier to “stumble” upon them. This is my team now.Today I came in because the local oil change chain said something was wrong with my battery. I called Art and explained it to him. After extensive diagnostic check, nothing was wrong with the battery, starter or alternator. While the car was in their care, I got new brakes, a tune up, a brake flush, new engine and cabin filters and mended my cracked washer fluid reservoir. All things needed to be done. I never felt like they were taking advantage of me.I got them donuts. They offered me a bagel in the morning and had pizza lunch with them. I honestly couldn’t be happier knowing that my Kia with almost 180k miles got a new lease on life!Thank you Art, Jordan and the rest of the team! You’ve got my business!!

Comment: To Art, Dave and all of the mechanics at Tuffy Walled Lake:I just wanted to give you a quick shout out about my recent experience. I have an older Toyota that was in need of some brake work and while it was sitting it was damaged by a squirrel who was apparantly trying to make it into a new home. I brought the vehicle in not sure exactly what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and pleasant the entire experience was. I enjoyed the way that Art entertained me with his quick wit and his sense of humor. But when it came to fixing my vehicle Art and the team was quite serious and thorough about getting me back on the road. He even went as far as offering to break my repair into payments and allowing me to use a discount coupon that I wasnt even aware of. My mom has been raving about Art and the guys at Tuffy for years. Comment: UPDATE 10/2020Once again, Art and his crew came through for me with my daughter’s car. She drives the car like it’s a steam roller, trying to flatten curbs and widen potholes. After 3 years of that, the entire suspension was gone. Art tallied it up, gave me a very fair price, and did the work quickly and safely. That gives me incredible peace of mind when I live 500 miles away from my daughter. I know she will be taken care of there.But this review is not about how well they fixed the car. It’s about what an incredible man Art is. This man is one of a kind. He is the most honest business owner I have ever met. Always there to answer the phone, give good counsel, and put a smile on your face. In these tough times we are in, unprecedented really, Art is a man of integrity, and compassion. He caters to his customers like you would expect back in the 50’s, but not in this dog-eat-dog time we are in now. He gives a Master Class in just being a good human being. Even if your car needs no work, do yourself a favor and go there and meet him. Your life will be improved just knowing him. It’s guys like Art that give me faith that all are not bad. Bottom line: He is a great guy that I am better for knowing.Now, to my previous review:Art, Wayne, and the rest of the crew at this auto repair shop are the absolute best in the business! They came highly recommended to me, and I was blown away by their service. My vehicle was out of warranty, by just a few weeks, and the Ford dealer would not even look at the problem for less than a small fortune. Another garage looked at the trouble codes, and wanted to just start replacing parts, at a cost that was out of this world. I took my car to Art, and he and Wayne ran the diagnostics, and found a known issue from the manufacturer, which they quickly repaired. When I picked my vehicle up, they only charged me a very reasonable labor fee, and I was on my way. I cant say enough good things about this place. I will never go anywhere else. As a side note, I am so comfortable with Art and his crew, that I would not hesitate to send my 16 y.o. daughter in there if she had a problem with her car. That is how much I trust them! A friend told me about Tuffy in walled lake and somehow in one day they fixed multiple problems and made my truck run better then it ever has on top of an amazing price and great customer service. WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST PLACE IN MY 17 YEARS OF CAR SERVICE, if you want a place you can trust to fix your vehicle without worrying about being screwed over or over priced THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! Comment: Today I experienced one of the best displays of customer service I have ever encountered at any shop hands down. I visited the Tuffy after experiencing light noise after getting my brakes serviced. I was greeted by a gracious man named Art. I filled him in on what I was experiencing after my service. And he had his guys Jump on it to figure out the problem, Mr. Art Offered me lunch 😊, Brought me hand sanitizer after I finished. Comment: My 12 yr old minivans exhaust was getting loud. I called the shop at 7:40 AM and spoke to Art. I explained that I have a wheel chair accessible van used for a family member, so I could not leave it overnight. Was an appointment possible? Arts response, can you bring it in now? When I arrived about 20 minutes later, there were already 6 or 7 people waiting in the cramped waiting area. Art greeted me and told me it would take about 20-30 minutes before they could even look at it.About 45 minutes later, I am just finishing my coffee across the street and get a call from Art. Are you sitting done? You need a new exhaust system and its gonna be $1500. I start to rationalize, it is a 12 yr. old van, so I guess its reasonable. Art interrupts a couple of seconds later, just kidding, it will be $75 and its ready to be picked up.Bottom line - I needed the van fixed, so I was probably an easy mark for a dishonest mechanic. Thank goodness I read the reviews and chose Tuffy in Walled Lake. Art is honest and can be trusted. He has earned a lifelong customer.

When the engine blew in my Malibu Art was very honest about weather it was worth fixing and offered to look at any cars in was interested in free of charge, even gave advice and contacted people he knew with cars for sale. He was very straight forward on what cars were worth what was asked and what wasn’t. Not just art but every employee I have delt with has been very polite even when they are crazy busy they have made an effort to fit me in. I would highly recommend!

He’s always there makes all the right choices and decisions about the cars that come in especially mine that had so many things wrong with it I thought it was going to cost me $1 million to fix. I had it towed here and am so glad I did cause I also kept putting off getting new tires due to time and money, they had 90k miles on them (never replaced), my brother told me they do tires too. I was able to get tire prices cheaper than places I’d been pricing and better than the dealers pair I had plus new brakes all on a payment plan! David was very thorough explaining the cost breakdown. Comment: After getting yanked around at a local referred place, and them eventually saying they cant fix my car because their mechanic is sick, Tuffy came through with flying colors. Not only was the repair done in half the time the previous shop quoted. Tuffy did it for less, fixed all the issues I was having (timing chain, control arms, stabilizer, bearings, water pump on a Pontiac G8) and kept me informed of all the needed repairs and costs. I cannot praise them enough, 6 stars if it was possible.

Comment: Yesterday should have been a really awful day for me but coming to see Art and David at Tuffy made the whole thing better. They treated me like family and got me in to work on my vehicle right away because they knew I was far from home and needed help. Everyone was friendly and they went out of their way to cheer me up and make me feel welcome. Pricing was MORE than fair, I paid hundreds less here than for a similar repair Id had done previously at another shop and they were able to help me with financing approval so I didnt have to pay the full balance up front. When I left, not only was I in a better mood than when I came in, but my car is running better today than it has in months. Im not exactly sure how the other auto shops around can keep up with the crew Art has Tuffy Walled Lake. It is the best place to get your car serviced.About my repair, I had my transmission serviced for my 2007 Lincoln MKZ. They received the car on Tuesday Night and finished the repairs at 8:00am Saturday morning. I could have bought a another used car for the money, and probably should have but the team at Tuffy Auto in Walled Lake did an awesome job. Every Day, Dennis had an update for me and let me know what had been completed on the car and what still needed to be completed. This was very reassuring.The history inside the building is insane and super comfy. Keep up the good work.

Thats what I thought when I first read them. But after my experiences, I can promise you that every 5 star review for this Tuffy Auto Service is well earned.I have taken two cars here multiple times. Led by Art, every single person on staff is professional and courteous. Every time Ive been there, the staff absolutely bends over backwards for me. This last time, I managed to screw up my hip the day I dropped off my car and they made sure I got a loaner car so I could get to my chiropractor appointment. Ive gotten bad news about my cars on a couple occasions and every time they offer me options without bias or upselling or talking down to me. They support whatever decision I make and their work is always quality. They honestly take pleasure in a job well done and knowing their customers are satisfied.I have recommended Art and the gang to basically everyone I know and I think every other customer is doing the same. Yes, there may be a wait to get your car back, but, trust me, its worth it. Comment: I was having issues with the exhaust system in my 2014 Chrysler 300 and took it into Tuffys for a second opinion. The first place I took my car (which is just down the road) told me they would have to replace almost the entire exhaust system because it was rusted out and broken in a bad spot. They informed me it would cost $697 for cheap aftermarket materials or $1400 from Chrysler. They also said I wouldnt have my car back for a week because they had to order the parts.I immediately took my car to Tuffys for the second opinion. In just a short amount of time, they had my car up on the lift and showed me exactly what was wrong. One section of pipe had cracked so they said they would be able to just weld a new section of pipe to replace the broken piece and I would be good to go that same day for $160!!!I appreciate the honesty from Art and his crew who showed me exactly what the issue REALLY was and how they took the time to show me exactly how the problem was fixed. They dont try to oversell you and get the job done correctly the first time. I would highly recommend!

He listened attentively to my frustration, he was kind, understanding and apologetic, and offered to cover any impound fees, I had incurred, as a result of this mix up. Art is great, funny, helpful and friendly. THEN without explanation, not so much.Took my car to him for engine work. He told me it would need a new engine. I appreciated his honesty.I decided to buy another car, and asked him if I could leave the vehicle there, until the dealership could pick it up. He agreed, as long as it wasnt going to be months.Four days later I notified him that I purchased a vehicle. His worker helped me get my plate, and belongings out of the car. I gave him the name of the dealer, and left my keys with him. I said that the dealer would pick it up within a week, and he agreed to call me with any problems.72 hours later, without any warning to me, he called Lakeside Towing and reported my car abandoned, telling them he didnt know whose it was, and didnt have keys.When approached about this, I couldnt get a straight answer, from him, about why my car was impounded.I really like supporting small businesses and I had a great feeling about Art and Tuffy when I decided to go there.I just dont know what happened, and Art didnt care and wasnt interested in helping me.

This describes Tuffy Auto Service Centers at Walled Lake with no exaggeration.In the winter of 2017, I was in a car accident and almost totaled my car. Initially, I took it to an auto shop in SW Detroit referred by a friend. Working on my vehicle for nearly a month, I finally was able to submit my rental car in which I paid out-of-pocket and picked up my repaired car. After driving it for a few days, I noticed a whistle coming from the passenger side of the windshield, the windshield wiper fluid container did not hold all the fluid – it was leaking, and the driver’s side auto window button did not work. The auto shop recommended that I take it back for final repair of the minor issues.To avoid another rental car expense, I decided to return the car during a six-day vacation. Upon my return, I called to see if it was ready. They asked me to leave it one more day for the final touches. When I picked up my vehicle after nearly seven days, I learned that the windshield, fluid container or automatic window was NEVER repaired. Needless to say, I was livid as it’s been four month’s since the initial accident.At this time, we decided to try Tuffy. From the moment I walked in to the moment I picked up my car, this team EXCEEDED my expectations. They told me that there were many work orders ahead of me. Therefore, I was not to expect the turnaround time to be a day. I was super okay with this as they were honest from the beginning. I was quoted five days for the repairs.As they inspected the vehicle, I was told that the windshield was NOT installed correctly which is why it was causing the whistle. Art was upfront with everything. He was honest, knowledgeable, and credible. He told me exactly what to expect and delivered accordingly. Not only did we NEVER have to follow up on the status as we received a call from Art/Wendy every step of the way, we were called a day earlier than expected letting us know that the car is ready for pick-up; exceeded expectations!!I’ve had my car for a couple weeks since its repair at Tuffy with no problems. I had the car towed to their location and crossed my fingers that it could be done so he could drive to work without using my truck for the week. You neednt look any further.I take all of my cars here, and have for the last two years. I found them while looking for a mechanic whom I could trust, located close to my office. I needed to have some work done to one of my cars (and I expected that the issue would cost a small fortune). I was shocked to find out what the real issue was. Other mechanics (and dealers) that Ive worked with in the past have advised work that did not need to be done (and charged a fortune). Not these guys.I live 60 miles from this shop, and I do not hesitate to take my cars here. It doesnt matter if they need a simple oil change or major repairs (and everything in between); this is the only place Ill go.In summary: this shop does OUTSTANDING work, and you can absolutely trust whatever they say needs to be done. I’m new to the Novi area and I don’t have much car knowledge, so I went online to search for a nearby place with “good” reviews. When I came across Tuffy Tire & Auto of Walled Lake, I couldn’t believe that they had sooo many loyal customers who left them great reviews. But now I understand why. I brought my car in at 7:30 am and shortly after they provided me with a free estimate of the work my car needed. Even though I couldn’t tell you the difference between a brake and a rotar, a repairman still brought me back to look at my “dissected tire area” to show me each thing that needed repairing and why. When I explained that I’m on a tight budget, Art helped me tremendously to make sure that I only had the necessary repairs completed for a safe car, all for the best price, and broken down into more affordable monthly payments. Comment: What a breath of fresh air this car repair shop is! I brought my 2006 minivan to them not too long ago and it needed a complete suspension rebuild. I knew thats what it needed because the dealer also told me the same thing and wanted $3800 to do the repairs. I brought it here for a second opinion and was quoted $1750, with parts and labor! I was currently unemployed when I brought it in and told Art, I think thats his name, that I cant afford to do all that. He said, Dont worry, youre our 1 millionth customer and that means you can make payments. I was floored to say the least. We worked out a payment schedule and he made the repairs that day. 4 months later I payed him off, even after having to miss a payment ,which he didnt bother me about, and the van is running great. I expected to get the shaft when I came in and instead got the gold metal treatment. I waited for the vehicle to get done and enjoyed their comfortable 50s and 60s decorations, a comfortable place to sit, TV to watch and all the coffee I wanted. Id like to go by just to enjoy those things! However, his sense of humor is a little to be desired :) I only saw smiling faces of people coming and going. Like I said, refreshing.

Comment: I have brought my vehicle in a few times, most recently for brakes and struts. They had the car for a few days, so they arent the fastest shop but that is moot. They take the time to explain everything and do the job right. I had some issues after the brakes were repaired and both times I brought it back, they immediately took care of me. Art hung out with my kids, made them hot chocolate, and even gave them some toys to take home. You can really tell they care about you as an individual. I probably wouldnt have anyone else work on my car from now on, they have won me over as a customer for life. Big thanks to Art and his crew for taking care of me and my family!

Comment: I have been taking my vehicles to Art for more then 6 years now. I have NEVER felt taken advantage of, mistreated or used as a source of income for the business. I have NEVER met anyone more interested and concerned with taking care of someone as Art demonstrates on an every day basis. To show the honesty of Art and his group, I brought my car in thinking it needed brakes due to some squeaking and what I thought was a soft pedal. They looked the car over and told me my brakes were fine, just dirty and a bit of moisture on the rotors from the damp weather. They could have easily sold me an entire brake job, but they didnt. They have shown many times that if it aint broke, it dont need fixing. Art will actually converse with you, ask about your family or exhibit human kindness hard to find these days. He has been there for us when we needed a hand up and one day I hope to return the kindness shown to us by Art.I can go on and on about Tuffy Service Center in Walled Lake, but the best thing I could do is HIGHLY recommend you find out what true service and honesty is by visiting them yourself, even if just for an oil change.

Its obvious that one of the main reasons people rate this shop so well is the way he cares for his customers. All day long, he was teaching a lesson in how business should be done - pouring coffee and shooting the breeze with those of us waiting, working special arrangements with people that needed it, and immediately fixing any issues that came up. When I arrived, cars were double and triple parked through the entire parking lot. By lunch time, they had somehow cleared out the lot and sent most people on their way. Sal, who worked on my car, pulled me out to the garage to take a look at what was wrong, and I felt confident that he did the job right the first time. They were all very friendly and accommodating, some even played and made noises with my 8 month old son as I was waiting in the lobby. Comment: My muffler pipe broke and fell off my my car and I had to tie it up with towels so it wouldnt drag. I was terrified with having the towels on it that it may catch on fire and having my twin 5 year olds in the car with the fumes scared me as well. I had called one place and they told me no they wont even touch the car to do spot welding and wouldnt help in any other way. I was lost and scared and didnt know what to do. Then I came across Tuffy on google and had called them. I talked to Art and he was very nice on the phone and explained to me everything and told me I could come on in and have the car looked at. I went in and wasnt sure what to do. I talked to Art when I went and and he helped with everything and was very polite and made me feel better as well. Comment: I brought my car in to have the differential serviced and an oil change. I was told the oil change would be free since it was my first time there and I was having the differential flushed. When the mechanic started looking at the car and asked me why I wanted the flush done, I explained some problems I was having, and he told me he didnt want to do the flush because he didnt think itd fix the problem and Id be paying for a service I didnt need. Then he gave me the name of a specialized shop to bring the car to. And, after that, I still got the oil change for free. Knowledgeable mechanics, and great customer service. Ive never seen a mechanic tell someone not to pay for a service because they didnt think itd fix the problem, and send the customer to another shop. Thats a great sign of the customer care thats provided here, and theyve earned a new, loyal customer!

Comment: Just moved to the area from out of state and needed a mechanic to look at a possible clutch problem. I found Tuffy Auto Service via google maps. These guys are the most honest and best in the area. Turns out it wasnt a clutch or transmission problem (they checked both). I was 40k miles passed recommended change of my serpentine belt, so I had it replaced. I will recommend them to everyone. Just keep in mind, they are the best in the area so they are always extremely busy. Be prepared to wake up early and get in when the store opens if you want to have your car serviced on the weekend (I got there 30 minutes after open and there were 20 cars ahead of me, already). FYI read some of the news articles hanging on the wall - this service station is owned and operated by individuals with integrity.

The company I work for services many auto repairs, oil changes, gas stations, car lots and still, by far this would be the best event anyone of our staff has worked. It truly seems that the customers enjoy the time they spend in the shop while the guys work on their car in the back. With such a strong repeat clientele list; tuffy has built an incredible rapport within the community that relays a family atmosphere for both customer and employee. Our company is only there during the morning and there still has not been a single day when we havent heard some form of praise from satisfied customers. I have personally witness them go the extra mile for their customer rather it be taking them taking them to work, or home. Heck i have even seen them loan out a personal car to a customers to take home because they ran out of loaners just to make sure the customer could get to their night job while their car was being serviced overnight. Comment: My husband took my handicapped accessible van to Art and Crew – Tuffy Walled Lake and had an awesome experience!!!!We were in Ohio for a soccer tournament and went over a speed bump and heard a loud noise and all the sudden the car was loud, sounds like weneed a new muffler- Ugh. We anticipated a huge car repair bill.We took it to Tuffy Walled Lake; they had asked my husband to call before he headed over so they could have the garage available for handicap accessible vans.The diagnosis was a broken rear hanger that attaches rear section of exhaust to the bottom of the car so the exhaust system was just bobbing up and down. When we hit the speedbump we cracked the muffler.The mechanic was able to reattach hanger and weld the muffler back together in about 15 minutes for next to nothing. Comment: I have been coming to this Tuffy station for about 6 years now. I just had an experience there that in my opinion draws a defining moment between an establishment and the customer. I brought my car in a for a simple oil change and the found something wrong. I told Art, the owner, that I think it is covered under my warranty for my car. He told me great, go have them fix it then. I took it to the dealership and they told me there is nothing wrong with my vehicle and Tuffy is just telling you that cause they want your money. I told them that I dont think that is the case and called Art and told them what they said. He said, there is definitely a problem. I told the dealer that and still insisted there was nothing wrong. I picked up my car and drove back to Tuffy. Art said I dont want your money, you need to take it back and ask for the service manager. I did that and the service manager said bring it back and I will personally look at it. Well I just got back from the dealership again and sure enough Art was right and the dealership was wrong. They are going to cover all repairs for me. I bring my car to Tuffy because I know that I am going to get a fair and honest look at the issues with my vehicle. Not only did they do an excellent job at a very fair price, the care and consideration they showed me made a lasting impression on me. Ive gone back on a number of occasions for different services and as always, the service was excellent. I recently had a major problem with my car, and Ryan helped me calm down from being completely frazzled and freaked out. He assured me that they would check everything possible to find out exactly what my vehicle needed. My friend who sells used cars looked at my car and confirmed they they were honest and priced fairly. I have been taking my Honda Civic to Tuffys since that time and it is running great! They do excellent, honest work and have helped me save money by finding solutions to issues that would otherwise have been very costly.
