I like the fact that they dont charge for a diagnosis like most other places do. The owner Tom and his employees, Doug & Cathy have been very pleasant and no complaints about the work that they have done for me, I would recommend this company for any service to family and friends. My last two cars that were repaired were a 1993 Corvette that resulted in a tune up and a new water pump which is no easy task and a 2012 GMC Acadia.

Comment: This place puts the Fort Gratiot Tuffy’s to shame! My brakes were in deplorable shape and Doug got me in ASAP for a free inspection, answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel dumb. He assured me that if they could resurface my rotors they would so I wouldn’t be over charged. Within a few hours I received correspondence with photos showing me that my truck was not safe to drive. By 1 pm the next day I had my truck back and she’s stopping as smooth as ever! Tom was also very very nice at pick up! I’ll definitely be returning!

It was mid-morning on a Friday and I had already called my dealership which would not give me an appointment until sometime the next week. Comment: After two weeks of buying a Tahoe from a dealership a check engine light came. I called and around and settled on this Tuffy location. I brought it in and it was diagnosed with a bad fuel pump based off the codes from the reader. They advised me that the codes had been cleared in the past. Being that this was a dealer demo car, and the sales manager had it previously its implied that the dealer cleared the codes. Doug advised that this was a very likely scenario, which promoted me to call the dealership. Long story short, the dealership is going to fix the problem, but Doug was very honest in helping remedy the problem. They lost business, but gained a customer. Its harder and harder to find people, let alone businesss that have a moral compass. All my future auto repairs will be coming to Doug and his team.

I needed some work done on my f150 Doug and the guys over at the shop handled this task very efficient and took extreme good care of my truck. Doug the manager is top notch customer service, this man is probably to honest for his position which I apperciate. If you have a car that needs some work head over and check these guys out they wont sell you on something that you dont need. They are honest, and thats something thats very rare these days. I hope to not have anymore issues but if I do I know who to call.

I brought the truck in at 7 am. By 9 Doug called with an estimate. I had them add an oil change and tire rotation. At 3 Doug called to say all done. Great guys to deal with. The price was less than anticipated and it was done when promised. I will be back!!
