I have been taking my vehicles here for the last 3 years doing various jobs (i.e. brakes, battery terminal issues, muffler) and have never had any issues. Especially around this area & being a female, I wouldnt go anywhere else. I have been taken advantage of at other auto centers in this area with higher costs plus issues after it being fixed. Friendly, honest, & super helpful - if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Comment: I called for an oil change and ask how much to change out some times and rims. He said oil change $89 and Ill do the tires for a review. I was like HELL YEAH! So we go eat and come back. It took 3 hours to do. BUT.... HE EXPLAINED WHY!! You see I had used custom tires that were being weighted and balanced on a different rim. And he said Im very picky about how it will ride after! And hes right!! Because Ive had 33s 4 times on this truck and never has it road like a Cadillac after EVER!! So for them to honor the deal with that long a job and give me an 8 quart oil change all for under a $100? Yeah Ill definitely be back!!!

The (2) mechanics on site were extremely helpful. They were able to determine the issue quickly and although they couldnt remedy it, they performed a couple modifications & did a test drive of our vehicle to ensure we could return safely to our home in Ontario, Canada. Comment: These guys are great! I brought my car in just to get the brakes done and oil changed, but as it always goes with vehicle repair my baby needed a lot more work done. It ended up being pretty expensive (I haven’t taken my car to get fixed in a while) but when I stopped by to grab a copy of my bill Jordan (I believe?) made sure to explain everything to me and even drew up a little diagram so I understood what was getting fixed. He made me feel completely at ease and I SO appreciated that. My car was done when they told me it would be and even on the short drive back home I could tell the difference. Everyone I dealt with at Tuffy made me feel welcome and seemed more than willing to answer any questions I have, and I really appreciated it. I’ll definitely be going back again! Thanks guys!

Mechanic discovered shocks should probably be replaced but biggest issue was all tires were way out of balance causing a wobbly ride. It had happened once before, and I knew I needed to disconnect the battery connection for a few minutes to reset the system but didn’t have any tools with me. Got a quote for brake pad and rotor replacement from Blue Water Chrysler after they gave the vehicle a walk around they came back at $900+. Comment: Have been using their services for oil changes for five years. Will not go elsewhere. Two years ago I had a 2013Ford Edge that had a protective panel underneath to protect the engine. After an oil change, it lodged itself loose, and flew off going down the road. I took the car back, the panel was replaced by Tuffy (Gratiot) in Saginaw. This happened an additional two times, all replaced at no cost to me. Upon reviewing it online, it is a Ford problem, yet Tuffy covered it everytime. The third time they attached it with the screws they thought appropriate, not the ones Ford recommended. It stayed on for those two years without problems. My current 2014 Edge has a problem with tire pressure, I head to Tuffy to have them look at it. While waiting the last time, all four people in the waiting room were praising how the service and pricing is at this Tuffy! WTG Tuffy Gratiot!

Comment: This shop is the most Honest in the County, and their extended warrantys are good at the Tuffy in Mt Pleasant where my Daughter goes to school. that works great for us. I highly recommend these guys.

Comment: I took my Monte Carlo to Tuffy a while back to have my exhaust fixed. I had an estimate from the dealer and wanted to shop around. Not only was Tuffy less than half the cost but, they ordered the parts and had the repair finished the same day. We were so pleased with our service, I went back today to have them estimate the repairs for this ungodly squeal its been making. The dealer had quoted an estimate to replace the rotor. Tuffy showed me that it was just a piece of metal bent against the rotor. They bent it back in a matter of minutes and didnt charge me a dime. We will definitely go back for future repairs and recommend them to our friends and family!

Comment: There is no other repair shop we go to! The prices are great and the service is great! We have taken many of our cars there and the problem is always fixed! All employees are friendly and show you what they repaired or replaced on your vehicle.

Comment: We went in to figure out what the rattle was under our car, they got us in right away, found the problem fast, they had to do a small weld job, took 2 minutes if that, and even though we were willing to pay, they told us its an early christmas. Thank you tuffy, no more annoying rattle.

Comment: I went to Tuffy for my 4th time (all unrelated) last Saturday. Each and every time they have been fantastic to work with.This time was no exception. They were very friendly, explained what exactly was wrong, and gave me a fair price. When they told me it would take several hours the store owner himself not only dropped me off at my house but also picked me up when it was done. They even stayed an hour late on a holiday weekend to finish this job.Tuffy may not be the cheapest place in town but their service has always been excellent and I am willing to pay a little extra for that.

Comment: Was leaking break fluid when leaving work last night. Guys got my car in early this morning and had me back on the road by 2:45 same day. Honestly one of my quickest shop experiences in a while.
