Comment: Had an underbody panel come loose in a snowstorm. Took it to Tuffy, I got in right away, they reattached the panel, checked my tire pressure and fluid levels, was out in maybe 10 minutes. And, no charge for the visit. Literally, it does not get better than this.

Dan took me home while my car was being worked on and then he picked me up the next day when my car was done. In addition, they have been able to repair our corroded broken suspensions that have been abused by Michigans roads. Great place, great service.

Every time I come to Tuffy Tire & Auto Service, I’m treated with a smile and and very friendly staff, even when I accidentally spray someone with windshield washer fluid when told to flash my brights. Dax the manager has a great attitude and likes to be silly at work and Steve missed his calling as an auctioneer, but I’m happy that he’s working here! I tell everyone about how friendly and funny the staff is here.

Comment: I always come here for my auto needs! They always do such a great job with my regular auto maintenance and let me know what I might soon need without overquoting me. I took my car there when something was wrong with it, they looked at it and helped me figure out the best and most cost effective way to get it fixed. The service staff is always so friendly and helpful. I really do not know much (pretty much nothing) about cars and they are super informative without being condescending or short. This place is my go-to for sure!

Comment: I am absolutely impressed with everyone that works here. My car needed a cat back exhaust, CV joint and a few other things. When I first came in Hondo walked me through my issues and what needed to be replaced. We had to schedule for a later time because of ordering time. A few days later I dropped off the car and Isis called just a hour or two later letting me know it was finished. Well I noticed that the belt was squeaking still and forgot I told Hondo I would fix it. I also noticed the exaust was rattling a bit after a small drive. I thought well darn I still need to set an appointment again for that belt. But I called and said it had a little rattle and the manager Les who is so nice. He said come back we will get that rattle fixed immediately. Well I came back and they also fixed the belt and gave me a free oil change for the time. I really had a wonderful time working with them all and realized it was darn near impossible to notice that rattle until the car was bouncing down the road. These guys went above and beyond what was expected and from now on I will come here. I live in Fenton and have been to multiple places. No one has made me feel more welcome and has been as generous as Tuffy( they were up front and broke down pricing exactly, I am happy with their labor cost and little to no markup for parts). I had to write up this review because I just feel super grateful for the oil change, belt squeak fix and the effort Everyone gave to make this a most pleasant experience. I told him I dont plan on keeping the car for much longer anyway and he advised that I do not do the repair and did not charge me for the diagnosis. Les was very friendly as well as helpful. Wipers stopped working which appeared to be a simple issue resulted in extensive electrical troubleshooting.After 6 Days the Mechanic found a hidden switch that was tied into the wiper circuit! Why was it there? The previous owner probably does but Im glad it has been fixed!Thanks Tuffy for putting in the work and taking on a challenging problem!--Minus 1 star for lack of communication over the 6 day period where the troubleshooting took place.

Background story their hoist went down kind of slip through the cracks to give me a call to notify me. Everybody has moments like that we’re all human right? So I called him around five. I realized that I hadnt gotten a call back, he realizes what happened. Not only did he offer a discount he gave me clear and concise instructions on what I needed to do to bring it back. The thing I needed to do was get a tire before he could do my alignment. I purchased a tire online at discount tire next door. I call Wes in the morning he offered to take my car over to discount get the tire done for me bring it back and do my alignment even though they already have a busy schedule for the inconvenience. If that’s not service, I don’t know what it is!! We will forever be loyal to PDQ and Tuffy. Cannot thank them enough.

Comment: Ive taken my vehicles to the Fenton location for years. My Jeep my Dodge 2500 my Acadia. I kept coming back because the service was more than what you expected. But recently I had a 1997 Tahoe I took to them. Had difficulties with starting and they had the vehicle for some time chasing down the problem. Eventually solving the issue and I was able to take the vehicle home. The next day to have the aftermarket alarm system engage and I was unable to move the vehicle. Id like to point out the assistant manager less took it upon himself to drive out to my residence and solve the issue for me on his own time with no additional expense. You can build companies around people like that. I will continue going back to that location for any service because of that man.

I was due to give birth in just a few days and my brakes started going out! They got me in immediately and at an amazing price! Even as busy as they are, it was still same day service, which really saved me. A couple months later my back window decides its time to have an electrical malfunction and stops working while rolled down! I stop in to Tuffy Fenton, and they immediately help me get that window up and safe. Cut to today, my battery dies while I’m with my autistic 7 year old. Luckily, it dies next door to Tuffy Fenton! I run in to see if they can help, and they jumpstart us right away! Thank heavens because it was nearly 100° outside! On one occasion I was quoted a price for a four wheel alignment, when I went to pick up the car Chad informed me that I only needed a two of them aligned. No matter how busy they are, Chad always has a good attitude and helps in any way he can. He is honest and doesn’t replace parts that are not needed. Comment: Amazing customer service! I dropped my Ford flex off before leaving on a road trip to have it all checked over. Chad was absolutely amazing and said I really needed new tires to make the trip and even drove my car over there for me to save me a trip back to Fenton. That is absolutely above and beyond whats expected! Chad and his staff are amazing! I recommend them to everyone I know.

Comment: Walked in needing rear brakes and rotors. I was on a time crunch to be able to get my kids off the school bus. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to fix my car and I can honestly say I enjoyed waiting to get my car fixed. The staff was very personable it made the time go by faster. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Comment: Just had a resonator replaced at Tuffy today. I got there later than anticipated and even though they were totally slammed by the time I arrived, they still managed to work me in quickly they did a great job. Not saying they can always get you in if you are last minute like me, but I guess I got lucky! The manager, Chad, was very polite and professional. He was workin’ hard today! Price was cheaper than another local competitor by a significant margin. Check ‘em out!

Comment: Seriously impressed! I went here a couple days ago for a full service oil change and it was so great! (Who says that about getting their oil changed?!) I was in and out in lightning speed, super cute GIRLS who actually know what theyre doing and a man named Les was very friendly too. Michaela made sure that all the ice was knocked off my car and wipers. They topped off everything and let me know I could come back in between oil changes for free fluid refills. They even offered me coffee, water and a cookie while I waited! Great customer service and work. Will definetly be returning.

Comment: The people are friendly and the service is efficient. I had my air conditioning in my car fixed, and finding a place with the right pipe for my not-so-new car took persistence making calls on the part of Tuffy. The recharge and installment of the new pipe all happened within 3 hours. The assistant manager, Dan, was especially helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Comment: Absolutely, the best service we have ever received! While visiting the area we ran into major truck problems that stranded us an hour from home. The manager, Chad, and his staff went to great lengths to assess the problem and secure transportation for us to get home. He was able to fix the problem rapidly, saving us from taking it to the dealership. I cannot state it enough that the service we received was by far the best weve ever received!

Comment: After feeling like every mechanic was out to take advantage of me and rip me off, I decided to try the Tuffy center on Owen road. I received excellent service for a fair price, and have been taking my cars to them ever since (Over two years now). Steve is a very honorable and honest guy, and gives it to me straight and true every time. When I took my car in for some wheel assemble work, he did the work and after driving the car, realized it needed another part, so he did the extra work free of charge! This blew my mind, as every other mechanic Ive ever dealt with not only charged for every penny they could, but often severely overcharged. For quality work and honest friendly service, Fenton Tuffy is the place to go!
