Comment: I was coming into town for the MSU hockey game. Found I had a screw in my tire. The Tuffy guys got my car in right away (at 5:30pm just before they closed) with out question. Unfortunately, my tire was beyond repair. They were kind enough to put the spare on for me and offered to try to patch it and have me pick it up at a later date. Being from out of town I declined. They packed up my tire in my trunk and threw the spare on for me and I was on my way.The guys working were very nice, genuine, honest, and funny. Thanks for your help!

Comment: Hands down the best car-related service I’ve ever received! They got me in immediately and everyone was super friendly. I had a leaky tire due to corroded 22 inch rims which other shops either couldn’t work on because the rims were too big or recommended that I get a new tire. The people at Tuffy cleaned up and smoothed out the corroded part on the inside of the rims and fixed the leak. All for free. Special thanks to Austin who even showed me before and after pictures of the corrosion. Everything was done in about 40 minutes. 10/10.

They fixed the leak, confirmed it wasn’t leaking anymore and were honest about the repair possibly not lasting due to heavy wheel corrosion. Honesty in a shop is hard to come by. Comment: I have taken my car to this Tuffy auto center in the past and they did a great job. Recently my car broke down and it was not fixable. They let me keep it on their lot over the holidays so I could arrange to have it towed to the salvage yard. I was really thankful. Also, when I asked if I could borrow their screwdriver to take the plates off the vehicle, one of the gentlemen came out and took it off the car for me. They are very knowledgeable and super nice people In my opinion. I have another vehicle that needs a brake job done and I am going to take the car to them. I also applied for the Tuffy auto card which will help me pay for these upcoming repairs with them. That is helpful.

Comment: Tuff tire and auto service center is the best and most sincere auto service center. I personally was amazed on their honesty and politeness and expert advice . I went to the center and requested a service by signing a paper to pay an hourly labor cost of $ 149 regardless of the diagnostic results. After spending about 45 to 60 minutes of their time , the technician came up with significant problem - a problem related axils attached to the transmission bar that require a high level repair which is beyond the center’s expertise and speciality. They advised me to take the car to the right place, what wonders me was that despite I agreed to pay a diagnosis fee, they did not charge anything. That is how people at Tuff tire and auto center treat customers with excellent services, honesty and sincerity.

Comment: If you’re gonna get any work done definitely hit this place. Not only did they diagnose my car accurately, they quickly repaired the damages with amazing results. They worked on my 19 Ford Escape after a front end collision which snapped my strut, damaged my steering knuckle and power control arm, it was fixed in less than a week with the help of Jonah’s amazing mechanic work and handy skills. They were very patient when I couldn’t afford the fees right away and even went as far as helping me find the best financing for the damaged parts. They truly were a blessing in a rough patch and I’m referring everyone i know w a vehicle to Dale, Jonah, and all the other mechanics at the shop. Comment: We had a rental car with a mail in the tire. There were no rental car places near us that were open to exchange the car so we had to have the tire plugged. The Tuffy’s owner was as and accommodating as could be and had his mechanic plug the tire free of charge. We chatted about anything and nothing while waiting and he couldn’t have been nicer. There were many cars ahead of me and I couldnt leave my vehicle there to be serviced because its my only vehicle and I have a little one in a car seat. My tires have a key that I dont know how to use and he offered to put my spare tire on for me so I didnt have to continue driving around on a flat tire! They locked our car in the shop for the night since it was completely packed with all of her belongings. We had to stay overnight in a hotel since we were headed back to Pittsburgh and it was already 5 pm when we got to the garage. Tuffy was able to remove it while I waited, and did not charge anything because the part would have only been able to come in after my trip was over. They were honest and helpful.

Comment: The people here are very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! A few years back (2017) I hit a pot hole that shot me into a curb. My car was undriveable due to a snapped tie rod, busted rim, and man more damages. Had it flatbed towed to them, and they had it fixed, damn near brand new, in 3 days! Has drove perfect ever since, with no alignment issues. I highly recommend the talented individuals at the Frandor Tuffy for automotive repairs and maintenance.

Comment: My rear tire was leaking for a few weeks, but today I cant fill any air to it. I contacted other stores, but they are either busy or I need to wait several hours, then I noticed this store, and tried to call them. The staff are very friendly and professional. I thought I will have to change the tire which may take me hundreds of dollars, but the guy told me it would cost about $30 dollars to repair (to be honest, I cant believe it). After an hour, I came back, and the tire was fully repaired, and to my surprise, it only cost me $25. It was my first time visit Tuffy, and it was great experience. I would absolutely recommend this auto repair store to my friends.

Comment: They were so nice, honest, and thorough! Got me in early and made sure I got my car safe to drive for the weekend while they waited for parts, so I didn’t have to keep it there! They were honest and trustworthy with pricing and gave thorough explanations of the problems. As a young woman I am very particular about auto shops and mechanics I feel comfortable with. Comment: My garage floor showed my 2012 Toyota Prius leaking oil. Not a lot but there were about a half dozen spots which of course I hadnt seen when the car was parked over it. Decided to try Tuffy.Ted, who served me explained it would be 140 bucks for diagnosing the problem. Gulp. Decided to go ahead anyway.Several hours later went to pick up the car. Saw Ted again and he said he only had to tighten up the screw holding the pan. (Naughty Toyota service!)Then he said no charge because they really didnt have to do anything! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Ted, and thank you Tuffy!!!

Comment: Weve used Tuffy for about 20 years, with good reason. They have always treated us right, they have great mechanics and they take care of their customers. They honor their work, use good quality parts and do the job right the first time. Its pretty rare you find a shop that doesnt try to sell you in a bunch of additional services and sticks to only what you need to take care of the car. All their mechanics are great, but I really want to give a shout out to Jeff, hes worked on our cars for a long time and if he says it needs something you can take it to the bank.Id recommend Tuffy to anyone.
