Comment: We were on our way home to Grand Rapids area after a Tigers game. After stopping for a bathroom break and snacks our truck decided to breakdown and not start. We contacted our roadside assistance and they set us up with Total Car Care Towing. We had no idea about where to find reputable repair shops in the area. The tow driver was very skilled in how to get the truck onto the flatbed. We asked him for his recommendation on where to take our truck. Of course he recommended Total Care Care Auto Repair. A quick google review search helped us to make our decision. By 11pm we had our truck on its way to the shop. They texted with confirmation that our truck was at the shop and that we would hear from them between 8-9 am the next morning. We ended up calling them right at 8am because of our work schedule. They answered right away, listened to our story and said they would look at it this morning. He said it sounded like a bad starter. This was at 8am. By 10am they called with the estimate and indeed it was the starter. He said they would have it repaired TODAY!!!. Most repair shops in the Grand Rapids area are scheduling out a week or more, so this was very welcome news. By 11:30am they called to let me know our truck was finished and fully operational. In 12 hrs from when it arrived in their lot, and approx 3 hrs after opening the next morning they had the job completed!! In addition to timely repair, the cost was more than reasonable! From start to finish our experience was top notch- a breath of fresh air for our stressful situation! Thank you Total Car Care Livonia for coming to our rescue!

But, I would suggest they have someone at the front desk at all times when people walk in for service, so you don’t have to wait for someone to come to the desk to help you, I think that the person who works at the desk was also working on cars, so you stand there waiting to talk to someone, and if your sitting in the lobby waiting for your car, people will ask: is there anyone working the desk, I was ask twice. Other then that highly recommend.

Comment: Our daughter lives in Ypsilanti. Upon arrival at our home in Farmington HIlls for Thanksgiving, we discovered her 2007 cars rear end was howling and engine racing. My wife had been impressed with this place, having driven by on the way to doctor. AAA towed it here and are we fortunate that she chose this shop. Mo is as honest as the day is long, thorough and patient. The whole rear end (of the drive train) of my daughters car needed replacement. Car parts are one of the things that are hard to come by these days. Mo ordered, inspected and returned 2 of the parts sent to him as they showed too much wear. He was comfortable with the 3rd part, installed it and is providing a 6 month 6,000 mile warranty on it. While I was anxious to just get the job done, Mo said he would not put his name and reputation on poor parts and he took the time to order and inspect them before installation. In my experience, this is an honest, knowledgeable man, running a business you can count on.

Comment: Bobs Total Care closed without notice and I updated everything I possibly could on my 2010 Equinox because Im not ready for a car note. Timing chain, shocks, struts, spark plugs, electrical, tire rods back/front brakes, bears,control arms, springs. Complete oil and fluid overhaul. My latest repair just cost me $3500 and I have spent lots of money with this shop. Now Bob always worked with me but one of my repairs in the last 90 days malf and Bobs was closed. I am very Ill right now but I stalked this shop every week 2-3 times until I ran into this kind man name Hussain who was working on the shop but owned a different Total Car Care Shop on Middlebelt near 7mile. He had his team fix my car no charge immediately and they were friendly and sent me on my way. Please check out Total Car Care location on Middlebelt. Im disappointed my previous guy Bob didnt reach out with what I thought was a loyalty rapport with My Mechanic. I sent a lot of business his way. I wish you luck on your future endeavors.

Made it to the shop had to wait an hour for them to look at it but the waiting area was very nice so I didn’t mind. The guys checked out my car, told me everything that was wrong with it. I left my car that same day to get repaired and it was ready the very next day as promised. Two tire places told me my car was not safe to drive but they turned me away, saying they were too busy to put on my spare.I called Total Car Care and Moe got me right in. They were so friendly and quick, even though they were just as busy if not busier than the places I had just come from.I needed new tires of course, so I cancelled my belle tire order and instead placed an order here with Moe. The tires came the next day. This place will have all of my business from now on. I’m so glad to have discovered it.My partner needed his summer tires put on, so I told him I found the perfect place. They got him in right away as well and for a very fair price.All in all, a great place with honest and friendly mechanics where I feel comfortable bringing my car, and telling my friends and family to come as well.

I had the tire off the car and saw the screw in the tire so it was a quick fix but the first two places said they couldn’t do it until sometime tomorrow afternoon. The third place I went to was across the street from the other two called Total Car Care and the service was awesome! He plugged the tire and I was out the door in a matter of minutes. This was on a Saturday, they had me make the next available appointment which was the following Tuesday. So I drove down 7ml and say total car care. The guy at the desk told me they would take care of me. Ends up I had a nail in my tire.. they patched it up and didn’t charge me anything. Comment: I will never take my car to any other shop. The staff members at Total Car Care are reliable, honest, and hardworking. I was having an issue with one of my tires and was told by a different shop in the area that I would have to leave my car with them for 3 days, which was totally unreasonable for how minor of a repair I needed. I then called Total Car Care and they were able to help me out and had me safely back on the road within 30 minutes of my arrival to their shop. Theyre very kind and will not rip you off!

I was so close to them that I could see that they were busy but they got me right in, were super friendly and had me on the road again within a half an hour. I was having a tough day and this made my whole day better!. While I was waiting I spoke with a customer who was waiting for her car and she said they are just amazing, knowledgeable and honest. Comment: I had a nail in my front tire and stopped by the local tire shop (Belle T!re) across the street and they told me that I could come back on Monday and they could look at it then. When can someone wait 3 days with a nail in a tire to have it repaired? Doesnt sound safe. I had not noticed Total Car Care (Livonia) before and I decided I would stop by and see if the could do better. I walked in asked if they could repair my tire and they asked me to pull up to the bay. They not only fixed my tire in 5 minutes, they did it free of charge. I will be back in the future for my other car repair needs.Thank you, Total Car Care Team!

Comment: Total Car Care will be our new go-to auto shop! Now we know our old auto shop has been overcharging us for years! Both my car and my husbands car needed to be repaired at the same time. They repaired both cars (one car needed spark plugs & a tune up and the other car needed a thermostat & water pump) in one day! So affordable and honest. I thought I would need a new alternator, but they were honest about only needing spark plugs to get my car starting again. I wish I had the opportunity to have met them in person (my husband and mother actually went to the shop while I was at work), but they were very respectable over the phone. Will go here from now on!

Comment: The whole shop was efficient and fast! My ball joint came off near their shop and they got me in and I was back on the road in 2 hours on a Saturday right before the 4th of July! Comment: My experience with TOTAL CAR CARE in Livonia was nothing short of a blessing. I had experienced a complete transmission failure after striking a pothole in the street. I had never had issues with my transmission beforehand, but was told that the damage was internal. After speaking to my dealership and them informing me that my powertrain warranty expired 2 years prior, I turned to my insurance company PROGRESSIVE. At first PROGRESSIVE informed me that I was covered under my policy but quickly after receiving the shops $3700 estimate of damages they denied my claim. Stating that they had no physical proof the pothole damaged my transmission. The timing of all of this was horrible. I just experienced two deaths in my family and just agreed to 2 weeks of overtime to catch up on my bills. I did not have $3700 to pay anyone. All through this ordeal Moe at TOTAL CAR CARE was supportive and professional. He kept me in the loop about my car and what was going on. On the day my insurance company forced me to return the rental car, because they refused to pay the claim. Moe called me with some good news. He told me that my car was fixed and that I can come pick it up. I didnt have all the money and he worked out a plan with me that would get me back on the road that same day. I would like to thank him and his team over at TOTAL CAR CARE. When everyone deserted me those guys didnt. I cried for days not knowing if Id lose my job or my mind 1st. Were all going through something in life and when things like this happen its good to have someone in your corner. Im happy to have had these wonderful men in mines. Id advise anyone whos looking for dependable, trustworthy honest vehicle repair work done. To trust these guys with your vehicle they are legit. TOTAL CAR CARE not only fixed my vehicle but they also restored my faith back into humanity and saved me from losing my job. So thank you MOE and everyone over @ TOTAL CAR CARE ❤

Comment: This place is absolutely amazing! My tire blew on the way home from work. It was towed to this shop. I must have called 6 times the next day trying to see what was happening with my car. I myself, would have been annoyed if I worked at this business, and had already explained to the customer it was a very busy day. The staff however, was so kind each and every phone call. Fully understood that I was stressed trying to figure out if I could even afford to get it fixed and how I would be getting to work until my car was ready. They fixed my tire that day, at no cost to me! They had already stayed after business hours so I could pick up my car right away, and then stayed even longer to talk to me about all my options for getting a new vehicle! The car I have now has too many issues. I just need it to get me by while I save for a new one. As a single mom of two, that is not easy, but the people here took some of the burden away. This is a very long review, but I felt you needed all the details to see how much they did for me. I do not have enough words to express how grateful I am and how wonderful this company is! Highly recommend! All around caring, honest, good people, who just wanted to help me get out of the tough spot I am in. You dont find too many places like that these days. Comment: So I was just taking my car in to see what all was wrong with it as its old used and was making a lot of noise. The diagnostic work was going to be a little under 50 bucks if memory serves me right. So I take it in, in the morning the guys look at it and come back telling me that the only big thing they see is the belt that was still very squeaky from a previous issue not fixed by them and the muffler. They say everything can be done for around $250 (Included the diagnostic as well I believe) less then what I figured itd be so I took them up on the offer to fix the muffler. And the guys cleaned my belt that was making the squeaking noise. My car has never ran better or been so quiet in the years I have owned it. THANK YOU TCC! P.S the waiting room was open and nice with plenty of room to talk to others and not worry about the virus~

So I was driving around for two weeks with my trunk unlocked. I explained it as best I could to Al (Great Guy!) he came out took a look at it. and in two minutes had my lock fixed. He was attentive, kind professional as well as welcoming. Aside from all of that he charged me Absolutely Nothing! This was my first time there he didnt know me from a can of paint. We were 80 miles from home, but fortunately got a ride home that day from family. Total Car Care called Monday morning and said our tire was repaired (had a nail in it) and that there was no charge. Comment: At first, Ford Motor Company assigned Butlers Towing in Detroit with an ETA of 70 minutes. Ford provides an app that shows progress for a call that shows status ... assigned, dispatched / in transit, on the scene. After 70 minutes, Butlers truck was still not even in transit. I asked Ford to cancel the call with Butlers and assign another towing company. They assigned Total Car Care in Livonia. 25 minutes later, our car was hooked up to the truck and on its way to the dealership. What a difference. I wish I asked the driver for his name, because I would have liked to give him credit here for a great service call. I went outside to look and My right front tire was completely disconnected from the tie rod. The first tow company I called said at least two hours.The next company said ten minutes. He (Abe) was there in eight, And could not have been a nicer Guy. Abe tried to fix the problem right there but We could see it was stripped. So he could not get the part til the morning. So He carefully put the van on the tow truck bed and gave Me a ride seven miles the opposite direction of His shop Then called 8:30am Monday morning to let Me know My van was ready. The price was very reasonable. And they did an outstanding job (much safer now). So if You need any work on Your car this is the place to call (ask for Abe) tell Him Greg sent You.

Comment: The harmonic balancer in my car broke mid turn across the street from the Total Car Care which I did not know about at the time and had no other choice and decided to take my chance and give it a shot. He offered to have someone tow it across the street first but then said to save money see if the car would get across since it did not sound like my battery was the cause.I made it across and they immediately told me the issue. No one had the piece in stock and they called everyone they could think of. I finally ordered the piece but nothing could be done until the following week and the piece to be shipped.They were kind enough to leave my car at their shop until I received the piece, fixed it, and gave me a little grace period to make it back to the shop to pick up my car due to traffic before they closed.Thank you again for your hard work and pleasant demeanors.

Comment: I had a lot of problems with my Honda Civic 2007. In total I had invested approximately $3500 in the vehicle since March. One problem after another, I really lost my faith in mechanics. My mom told me to try Total Car Care. Abraham worked very hard on my vehicle and I am very pleased. I had to bring it back a few times as he had to correct the work of some faulty and dishonest mechanics at the previous shop. He was also very kind and gave good customer service. I will review again in another 90 days.

Comment: Went to Belltire for a tire repair and they were gonna take 6 hours for a plug and patch, went across the street to total car care and even with a full garage they brought someone outside to fix it within 10 minutes. I came in for an front end inspection and alignment before I hit the road for the holiday.The young Gentlemen entrepreneurs that own this shop know their stuff. I was thoroughly impressed by their attention to detail.I always try to keep my car in top condition and they complemented me on that. At the same time, they noticed a few wear items that were not bad yet but I should be aware of for preventative maintenance in the near future. They were able to clearly show me exactly what wear items were beginning to become compromised and gave me very-fair estimates for the repair and replacement of said maintenance concerns.I am often skeptical of going to a new mechanic shop and I regularly have driven over 30 miles to go to one that I trust. This is a new business in this location and Im very pleased that I stopped. I look forward to the next time they get to service my vehicle. If all they do is the same quality of service every time as the first time, they will certainly have my business for years to comeOne last thing is this shop is a NAPA auto care centerFor those I dont know NAPA does not give this out easily and to me always signifies a shop that does quality work.When you get work done at a NAPA auto care center the warranty for the Napa parts is good at any other NAPA auto care center, and there are many from coast to coast.Every once in a while you find a diamond in the rough and so far these guys are certainly shining

Comment: If you care about your car old or new I would recommend Total Car Care. Very knowledgeable and they provide excellent service. I went in with an issue regarding a new lease after my dealership center told me they needed a month to figure out the issue and to repair it. TCC management and staff found the problem and solution and had me out of the shop in about two hours. I have not had an issue with my lease since my visit nearly a month ago. Highly recommend!
