Comment: These folks were very good to me. I pulled off the highway as my car was in the process of dying and pulled into their garage. They were busy, but were kind enough to take 10 minutes to look at my car, evaluate it, and give me some suggestions so that I could make some plans about when/how to get the car fixed. They also put some oil in it in that 10 minutes, even though it was time out of their day, and they only charged me for the oil, not for any labor or inspection fee. (I even offered to tip them and they said no.) They were also good enough to answer my many questions, and helped me to evaluate the safety of driving the car. I felt very respected by them and lucky to have found them. I would return to them again and recommend others to them.

Tony found a great used engine for me with only 17,000 miles on it and had my car repaired in less than a week after he was able to get the engine. The total cost was extremely reasonable and he provided great quality service. Comment: I was having major issues with my tires and needed work done asap! Basically all 4 of my busted, old and worn out tires taken off and needed the 4 replacements put back on. I had called several places and they ALL wanted an arm & a leg (some wanted me to leave my car over night!) But after speaking with Tim, he quoted me an amazing and pretty decent price. Said he could get everything done same day - really just a matter of hours! I dropped my car off, he called a few hours later, I picked my car up and everything with my tires was great. Tim was a nice and friendly guy, and my car drives alot better now!

We left it at Tim’s, left them a message and found alternate transportation home (an hour and a half away). They called us first thing Monday to let us know they were very busy and would take a look as soon as they could, which ended up being that afternoon. Once they determined it needed a new radiator they had it fixed by Wednesday. They were able to find the time to look at and fix our car within 3 days during a busy time right before the 4th of July! Absolutely awesome guys!

Comment: My girlfriend Jill and I live here in Milan and were very fortunate to be within walking distance of Tims Auto. Prior to Tony, we had many satisfying experiences with Tim.My most recent experience was with Tony whose business is now under the name Lincoln Street Garage. My son drives a 2002 Saturn Vue which Im learning very few mechanics understand and want to service. The Saturns heater was blowing cold air and numerous mechanics were telling me it was the thermostat. When that didnt work, these same mechanics insisted it needed a head gasket which is about a $1500 to $2000 repair.Im extremely happy to know Tony has a fellow mechanic who used to work at a Saturn Dealership. He was able to diagnose the problem correctly. It was not the head gasket, it was a substantially cheaper auxiliary water pump. This was a part, which the other mechanics said they could not get.The valuable lesson I learned from this is definitely dont go to a mechanic youve never used before. Tony came through with flying colors and we will continue to use him in the future.

Comment: My wife and I started using Tims back in 2009, before they moved to their current location. We have used this place for six years for pretty much all our car repairs and maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations. We are now moving to Grand Rapids and I am actually bummed I have to find a new mechanic. This place would ALWAYS tell us about our options with the repairs. (Who knew you had options with these things?) They would tell us what had to get fixed, what should get fixed but could wait, what might happen if we wait too long, and things that didnt need to get fixed. They let us make informed decisions about repairs, rather than trying to soak us for every cent they could, (like some other places I have been in the past). They were very quick at getting the repairs done, and the repair were always done top notch the first time. I cant thank these guys enough for their work through the years and can only say I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Comment: Took my 05 Highlander because it was shaking violently when I applied the breaks. Turned out it needed calpiers, pads, rotors, etc. Though the repairs were more than I anticipated (in terms of the extent of them) I felt cofident that I was receiving the correct diagnosis for the problem as well as the correct remedy. I could tell an immediate difference after the repairs were completed and feel comfortable driving my car now. I also know that the work was done correctly. If you need work done Id give this shop a try.Mike Harrington

Comment: Awesome. Its hard to find a good mechanic with fair prices. Tims is the place. Had my vehicle repaired a couple times. Efficiently done, done right, good services, and prices.
