We required a tow for our BMW and the tow company they exclusively work with were quick and efficient, the handoff to the garage was seamless and the garage service managers were helpful and friendly. I appreciated that everything could be done remotely and they took pictures of each check they made on our vehicle, which I had never seen before. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Comment: My 2003 Mustang stuttered and quit running at Livonia Costco. I found the Livonia Garage by proximity and good ratings. They confirmed they could handle a somewhat lowered car over the phone and would work me in the next day, so I had AAA tow me there. The check in was a good experience along with progress calls. They traced the issue to the fuel pump and had me back on the road less than 48 hours from drop off with a new fuel pump and fuel filter. I am grateful for the care in which they handled my Mustang.

Then two weeks later I needed a new starter, my car is 14 years old and I am not ready to part with it yet. They fixed that and found out there was another problem with the ignition. Comment: My car was making a TERRIBLE grinding noise. I called and they said they’d fit me in the next day. On the phone they were straight forward with me about their service time and how if they needed to order parts it might take a few days to fix my car but that they’ll have it checked out within a couple hours of my appointment to know what they’d need. I ended up towing my car there and they looked at it right away in the parking lot. Shifted a couple things around with the breaks and the grinding has officially stopped. I consider that a raging success. They assured me it was alright to drive so I am now able to drive my car again right after my appointment! He(sorry I’m terrible with names but I think it was Dave?) said if I had any further problems to bring it back to them and they’d fit me back in again. Their service was more than friendly and prompt. It’s hard to find service places that don’t swindle you or belittle you just because your a woman. They took the time to tell me a few things about my breaks, what to look out for, and reassured me on the safety of my car. I felt more than comfortable with their care and knowledge. 10/10 recommend! They’re worth it!

Comment: The shop is very kind and courteous. I mainly went to the shop because I was getting tired of the dealerships ridiculous prices, as well as being over 30 minutes away from me. They did a great job inspecting my vehicle. They performed a front end alignment and it feels like my car drives a bit more straight now. They also changed my brake fluid and they feel a bit less spongy now. I will definitely be coming back to this shop for other maintenance in the future.

The online appointment registration is a big help, theyre responsive, and when theyre working on your vehicle you get updated on everything they do through an email link. When they recommend services you get to choose which ones you approve through the link they send, and theres no pressure from them to add a bunch of services. Comment: Saw that they were AC/DC certified to work on hybrids so I took my Toyota hybrid over for an A/C diagnosis. Due to the nature of the hybrid a/c system it requires special attention and can be easily contaminated if treated as a standard belt-driven system, so I made sure I took it to a shop that knew what they were doing. Both the customer service, quality and price all hit the mark and make this a great place to take in your vehicle.To start, I like the fact that I was able schedule an appointment for a front wheel alignment about 2 days out from the weekend. This made the process of coming in easy and I was in and out in about 30 some minutes. I was even offered coffee and water which is always a nice touch in customer service.The price for what I had done was beyond exceptional. They even made an adjustment that was just slightly off but would normally have been an additional charge. They did this just as a courtesy. Normally car repair businesses nickel and dime you on everything, so the fact that they did this amazed me.What I found refreshing and different from auto mechanics was that they showed both before and after photos of what had been going on with my vehicle. I was able to see what my vehicle was before the adjustment and how it looked after. As someone who knows just a smidge about auto mechanics, I really enjoyed learning this.I highly recommend The Livonia Garage and will be back!

Comment: I found out my 07 Ford F-150 had an oil pan full of antifreeze so I had it towed to Livonia Garage. I found there service personnel, Mike Hayner, to be very easy to work with. I told him my budget and he did everything possible to keep it in the agreed quote. I had to replace the engine which they did. This all happened just before opening day deer gun season. They did everything they could to make sure I was up north on opening day. During the process of replacing the motor the mechanic found obvious issues with parts of the old engine that were going to fail which I knew before hand so I had them replaced. The crew at Livonia Garage are conscientious, very very good at their jobs in all aspects and I was very happy with the final outcome. My new(older engine) ran like it was brand new. My gas mileage was even better than before on freeway driving. I would invite anyone with car issues to see Mike and his crew before going anywhere else for mechanical work. As a matter of fact the next week after I came home from hunting I had Mike put two new tires on my wifes car. The whole experience was painless and stress free.

Honest and over the top.I brought my car in cuz I was pretty dang sure my brakes needed redone, there was serious metal on metal noise. Comment: Just left the shop today and I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Had to get my brakes done, after calling several other places they were able to get me in right away the next morning , my vehicle needed a lot done and they were able to work with me with the money I had on hand that day. Comment: I had a rear end accident happen to my 2007 ford freestyle and the alignment was off bad. This is an all wheel drive vehicle. The car had to get a bar replaced which I expected due to the impact... but in all... my alignment is spot on. Drives like a champ. So, I requested a quote today due to me wanting to return for a 2nd visit... ever .... and I was quoted much much less then other phone calls made after them. I really hope my brake pad repairs are just as satisfying as my alignment!! I love supporting the locals!

Comment: I recommend this place to anyone who wants good, reliable and educated mechanics who warrantry their parts and labor. I have been taking my Dodge Dakota there for a long time. I was referred to this shop several years ago by Discount Tire also on Middlebelt Rd in Livonia, and I have been going there ever since. My issues have always been accurately diagnosed and resolved the first time around. I highly recommend that you give them a try. Im sure you wont be disappointed!I had my car serviced there just yesterday for an oil change, heater that went cold during idling and a loud muffler. I left there in a warm, quiet, smooth riding car with improved gas mileage. My car always uses less gas when it is in top working condition. It was a win win situation for me.

Comment: Needed front brakes on my wifes Lexus 470. This is not my first rodeo - the Chevy dealer I frequent quoted me $350 (but then said they didnt have the equipment to do it), the Lexus dealer quoted $900 and the Toyota dealer, $600. I chose Chris and co because their quoted price was around $350 AND they had a loaner car. In the end, I had a seized caliper. My total was closer to $650 than $350 BUT, still right around what the Toyota dealer quoted just for the pads and rotors. Good quality, friendly service, fair price and a loaner car. What more would you want?

Comment: I read the reviews and had to see for myself. After a day of hearing my brakes grinding I decided to give BB&S a call. Its was late in the day so I didnt expect much. Chris answered the phone with a welcoming voice and began answering my questions. He informed me that no matter the drop off time or the amount of time it took to fix my vehicle I would be taken care of. Chris told me that they had a loaner car I could use, and of course I was skeptical. I pulled up early the next morning, car squealing and all. The staff there were all smiling and seemed to be in a lively mood. After the test drive and diagnostic Chris gave me the skinny on what was happening with my van. He told me what I wanted to hear (what and how much it would take to get me back on the road) and what I didnt (what it would cost to make my van safe). He explained the condition of my van and the working parts. He wrote up a few packages and then we went from there. I got a nice out the door deal for some SERIOUS front end work! I wasnt at the shop for more than 10 minutes and I was out with the loaner car. Which was clean and hassle free to take and drop off! All that work and I had my van back before rush hour! HELL OF A JOB GUYS! Need anything, go see BB&S 1st!!!

They let me know up front for a diagnostic charge, and they were very quick in calling me to let me know what the issue was and about how much it would cost. They had my cars busted AC fixed up and ready to go in one day. And if you call ahead they will willingly lend you a loaner car.
