My car was dropped off on Monday morning, and finished by the end of the day on Tuesday! I was so happy that my car was done so soon because that had seemed to be impossible the last few years. Comment: Well, it had been running poorly and they changed the Y pipe and convertors, I guess the catalyst were just worn out, also it had a bad vapor sensor. A different shop put on a second rate fuel pump, the float arm fell off and would leak down too fast, needless to say that was a waste of money going there and after that I didnt want them touching my car again. By the way, the other shop wrote Motorcraft and the part # on my invoice to fool me that they installed this brand, which is what I expected but got cheated.Yes, Sterling Car Care really went above and beyond to straighten things out, my SUV has been great for several months now.

If you know this is your new Auto shop and may bring in other people who may use them you have to compromise. They didnt and I found a diagnostic fee of $50.00 and did the Job within hours and did a terrific job and they were busy and got us out in 4 hours. The guys were down to earth and Great conversation. I am no longer interested in Sterling Care..

When I brought my car in, it was diagnosed quickly with an estimated cost, and Larry helped me apply for NAPA easypay. But - a staff member brought me coffee (twice!) from somewhere in the back - my guess is the mechanics coffee machine. That was good coffee.But back to the tires - I was in and out in a little over an hour. That was great.Highly recommended.

Comment: Did an awesome job fixing my hose when I was racing a motor cycle and a 300S (in Mexico) and my car started spitting white smoke from the hood and blasting coolant everywhere. LOL to much pressure on the old hose I guess LOL new one is longer and looks to have more quality.Forgot to write the review! Redford Auto is my go to place, but this place has great service as well, plus this wasnt that far from Mexico where it happened lolThey fixed my hose and filled up my car with fluids and never had an issue. However, as someone who ALWAYS washes the exterior and cleans the interior of his vehicles BEFORE taking them in for service, I noticed (after returning to my residence) some greasy smudges on the top edge of the front drivers-side fender AND scuffs on drivers-side interior door panel and drivers seat. These relatively minor concerns are not typical of Sterling Car Cares normal attention to detail, but I found them irritating enough to mention in this review. Nonetheless, I remain a loyal customer (since the mid-1990s) who will continue to recommend Sterling Car Care to friends and family.

They took me in, quickly fixed the tire, and sent me on my way for a fair price. I have used their services a few times before and always come away satisfied with their work. Its a much better experience than going to an overpriced dealership, and they seem considerably more professional than most independent shops. I trust them with my vehicle.Update: 20-APR-2018. I cant say enough good things about these folks. Today we noticed the A/C not working on our minivan. I called them up, they sent somebody over to pick up the van, they diagnosed and fixed it, then brought it back to me after I paid with my credit card over the phone. It doesnt get any more painless than that! They saved me hours of screwing around, and I was able to work while everything was taken care of for me. A+ for service and convenience. Thanks, guys!

Comment: With younger adults in the house, I own 4 cars. So, Sterling Car Care has been a real find. I have consistently come here on a multitude of occasions over the last couple of years now (I dont go anywhere else). They are professional and reliable like a dealership, while being more technically flexible and more reasonably priced than a dealership. Most of all, unlike a dealership that only wants to do light jobs on Saturdays, these folks hit it hard on Saturdays. Im a busy person, so being able to count on Saturday service has been huge. Their generous week day hours 7AM to 7PM are also very helpful. I generally come in, meet Sean or Eric at the counter, and sit comfortably in the lobby while logging into work on my laptop - never missing a beat! On bigger jobs, theyve hooked me up with a rental which was nice.

I was blown away buy the video service they show how the car works to help me understand the situation i was having and the procedure needed to complete the mission. They get you in and get u out. You can wait or shuttle home and come back. The shop is always clean and warm, LOL. Prices are reasonable for the great quality service they provide. The techs are friendly and knowldgeable too. Comment: Got my front brakes done here. They did a good job. My car stops on a dime every time. My brakes started squeeking around 4 months after and I was furious, but it ended up being the rear brake dums...squeeking, not the front. The guy Ernie there showed me where the sound was coming from. It just needed lubrication where drum shoes slide. I am going to that job myself. I actually go to school for auto now.
