Comment: I went to Sovels for an oil change after being told by so many people to go there because they excel in customer service. Boy were they right! I took my car in, (greeted right away by a nice man at the front counter), at 7:30am and they were done by 7:50am. I told work I would be late but actually arrived right on time. They were also VERY affordable compared to the dealership prices. I will be going to Sovels moving forward and not the dealership! Thank you Sovels! You have a customer for life!!!!

Comment: Nov 2021: Another great experience with Sovel’s. I took our Lincoln MKX in because the exhaust was loud near the manifold. I wasn’t sure what to expect on the cost as exhaust issues can get expensive. A dishonest shop could have taken me to the cleaners. Sovel’s repaired the problem quickly for a very reasonable price. These guys are honest and they do great work. I won’t go anywhere else for car repairs.11/4/22: I sound like a broken record but took the MKX in today for some brake noise and other stuff. Was fearing the worst. Of course, these guys took care of the issue for under $100.00- same day. If you take your car anywhere else for service you’re doing it wrong.

Shortly after I switched to Sovels for oil changes and other work and they said it wasnt necessary at that point. Well its years later and my car is still running great.I think these guys are pretty honest and trustworthy. They can be busy at times but thats not surprising to me at all; they do good work and they do it quickly from my experience. Definitely recommended!

Comment: I am very nervous when it comes to car mechanics as I don’t know anything about cars; I don’t know when I’m getting ripped off.That being said, I will never go anywhere else again after my experience at Sovels. They went above and beyond, specifically Bernie, and there are no words to describe what it means to see that kind of service these days.I had recently had all my calipers replaced somewhere else and my car started leaking brake fluid on the front right. I brought it into Sovels and they quoted me what I thought was a super fair price. When I went to pick it up Bernie told me that the caliper had been installed incorrectly so he fixed it and then decided check all the others to see if they were installed wrong too. He fixed all of them! Thankfully the other 3 hadn’t broken yet but still, he could have just done the one he quoted me on and then cashed in when the other 3 ultimately failed but instead, he saved me a world of stress. THANK YOU!!!

They kept the car and put hours in on it trying to find the problem, but felt it would best be handled by the Mitsubishi dealership. They charged me nothing and recommended the dealer. Who does that today, put some hours in and not charge for it? I have used this service over the past five years and always have been very pleased with the results.

Comment: Nothing beats a fair mechanic you can trust - that is Sovels - have only started recently going to Sovels after my old place closed and couldnt be happier. They give an accurate assessment of what you need - not what you dont. And they charge a fair price. Dealer wanted to put in a replacement for an issue that was going to cost more than $1000. Sovels was able to repair it for a fraction of that! Im only hesitant to give a great review that they will be overrun with customers and unable to give the great service that they are currently giving. Thanks Sovels!

Comment: About a year ago I bought new tires for my car and had them put on at a Midas. While the mechanic was working on my car he told me that my brake pads were down to 1/4th and I should consider replacing them. I decided to wait and so, a year later, I took my car here to get my brake pads replaced, oil changed, and tires rotated. I also asked them to look into a buzzing noise my car was making while steering.When I received the call to come pick up my car, they told me that they hadnt replaced my brake pads because I had over 1/2 of them left. They could have easily taken advantage of me and replaced them anyways to get a quick buck. So believe me when I say that these people are honest and trustworthy.As for the rest, they found that I had low power steering fluid, which was causing the buzzing noise, and went ahead and topped this off for free. On top of that, while I was driving home, I decided to try to squeeze out one more drizzle from my wiper fluid and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had filled that up as well! I know its a small act, but I think that this shows that they genuinely care.I am beyond happy with my decision to take my car here and will definitely be returning for future maintenance.

Comment: Another auto shop told me that my car needed work on the suspension and quoted me at $300. I took my car to Sovels for a second opinion and they confirmed that nothing was wrong. Like a previous reviewer mentioned, they could have said the same thing and done the work. They did not, and didnt even charge for the time inspecting my vehicle. Everyone I dealt with there was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be coming back.

Comment: I might hate spending money on repairing my car but i know when i spend it at sovels i can be sure that the price is worth it due to their honesty. Ive taken my car to few other shops and always had problems but not once have i had a problem here. You couldnt put your vehicle in better hands if you were to leave it here for repairs or maintenance. Im really glad that they expanded recently too that only means quicker repairs

Comment: Recently I had the Ford dealership tell me I needed new brakes after ~30,000 miles, which seemed a little early and they quoted over $350. I called Sovels who gave me an estimate over the phone that was much less than the dealership so I took it to them on Saturday morning. They were very prompt with an update, calling just a couple hours after we dropped it off. They said I could get another 5,000-10,000 miles before it was necessary to change the brakes. I went to pick up the car expecting to pay a little bit for the labor even though I didnt end up needing the brakes, but they didnt charge me a dime.Overall, they were super friendly and I thought extremely trustworthy (They could have easily just done the work and charged me, or at least charged me a little bit to check the brakes (Ford charged $30 just to check)). I will absolutely be going back to Sovels with all of my auto repair needs from now on.

Comment: I read the lone negative review and had to speak up.I work on my own truck, so Ive never had anything done at Sovels, personally.As I dislike working on minivans, my wife takes her Windstar to Sovels. She has been there for everything from adjusting brakes to having the transmission rebuilt. She has been going there for years and has never had anything like a problem with their work or being overcharged. My daughter takes her beloved XB there when she is in the area.Say buh-bye to reviews that arent signed with a real name.
