From the good and detailed reviews I saw, I felt I could trust the services and I am glad that I did! I originally had my car towed to a dealership for a diagnosis. I needed a new alternator and front brake pads and rotors. They were going to charge a hefty premium.After speaking with Ron at Detroit Auto Repair Centre, he was BEYOND helpful on getting me what I needed. I had my car towed to Detroit Auto Repair Centre and they provided me with great service, way better pricing on what I needed done and made me feel like I was family. Comment: Big thank you to Sam, AL, Moes and Ron. I traveled here from Florida to help assist my parents and someone attempted stealing my car in the early morning hours. The damage done was destroying my ignition and the ignition immobilizer. Sam told me he could not only do the repairs but would make sure the job would be done right. Sam is a man of his word. My vehicle after the repair drives like a new model and all computerized components work like new. My struts and sway bar was fixed also all provided for beyond a reasonable price. I’d been having issues with my car (all the dashboard lights were going on and off causing me to lose power to my car) brought the car up here to Sam around 11:30. They initially told me that I would have the car back the next day which was fine. I got several calls from them keeping me updated on what was wrong with the car and what my options were. I got the car back around 4:30 on the same day that I dropped it off. Prices were very reasonable and I highly recommend these guys.

Comment: Warm, Efficient, and Really Considerate.My brakes were squealing so painfully every time I hit them. I came into Detroit Auto Repair Center #1 to find out what the problem was. I was seen immediately, with excellent customer service. After checking out my car, the engineer himself came out to explain to me my options. I felt very comfortable, as he even told me it was just a sound the brakes were making and it could still last me a few months if I could live with the noise, instead of convincing me to go with the most expensive option. They ordered the parts and I came in the next day to get it fixed in under an hour. The brakes look great, but more importantly, I can relax when pushing down on the pedal. I know, the next time I have an issue with my car, Ill be coming to Detroit Auto Repair Center #1 first.

Comment: I have brought 2 cars to this repair shop an older GMC Sonoma truck, and my current 2014 Ford Escape. My Sonoma, was basically dead, they found the issue (electrical), and revived it in a day for me to use for the time being. They have worked on breaks for that car (and a host of other things), and have repaired my break lights, a windshield wiper, and splash guard, and are always speedy, and professional. I have basically always had a 24-36 hour repair time, which is extremely helpful since I work as a driver with my car. They also are very modern and convenient using a computer to log your issue/car repair, keeping a customer profile to log and stay-up-to date with car repairs. Additonal to that, they do have Google Pay for Wireless payments, which is generally helpful for security, and not carrying a physical card, as well as the current pandemic, where Covid is prevalent, especially in Michigan. Definitely recommend them, the Business definitely exemplifies its name.

Sam tells the truth as if it were his own vehicle, long term and short term fixes. They understand gaining trust (and the long term dollar) trough truth and not taking their customers to the cleaners for a quick buck. I tried one other place closer to me (by force because of a broken tie rod) and I regret not getting it towed to Sam because the other guys ripped me off and installed a few parts that was not needed (I know because I asked for the old parts back upon pick-up). Comment: Detroit Auto repair took absolute care of my car.My mini was completely death with some engine issues, Sam (who is an angel) called me and told me what was wrong with the car and the recommended actions. 6 hours later I had my car running like new. They totally stand behind their work and will charge fairly and (best) finish rapidly. I absolutely recommend this company and their services.

Comment: Excellent place to get your car repaired at I bring all of my cars here I just had ball joints wheel bearings and tie rod ends put on,all in one day price is good the work is excellent you see the potholes in the picture that is why we need Detroit auto

Comment: I bring my car here all the time. Most honest shop around the area and very fair and affordable on pricing had me in and out with in the hour. Make sure u speak with Sam he will always go over and beyond to make sure your car is proper or need anything else before u leave
