Comment: Brought my high mileage F150 in to get an exhaust gasket repaired on one side. They ended up repairing both sides and replacing the exhaust manifold. Had the car an extra day, but they went above and beyond, finishing the job in the evening so I could get my truck back for a job the next day. Running great and ready for another 250000 miles.I was referred to them by my transmission shop. This is a great repair shop, and I will definitely return when needed.

Comment: Saline Automotive is amazing! I was out running errands when the shifter on my truck got stuck in Reverse, and I didnt know what to do! I couldnt even put it in park! I had to keep my foot on the brake! I was able to get it towed to Saline Automotive, and they were able to get my truck fixed the same day! And it cost far less than I was expecting. I am so appreciative that they were able to get my truck in same day in an emergency, and also answer the other non-urgent questions I had about my vehicle. Comment: I am so impressed with Saline Automotive. I was heading to work the Friday morning before the 4th of July and my car wouldnt start. I called and asked when they would have availability, knowing the holiday was coming up. They mentioned they had an appointment for Friday the 7th of July, but told me if I could get it towed to the shop before then that they would be able to look at it if there was a cancellation that popped up. They checked out my car and diagnosed the issue as being a bad starter, they ordered the part, replaced it, and had my car back to me by Thursday night, A WHOLE DAY BEFORE IT WAS EVEN SUPPOSSED TO BE LOOKED AT!! I was ecstatic, they also informed me that my starter, on my 2019 used car, went bad so quickly due to leaking oil by a bad valve cover gasket, which I looked and happens to be a typical issue for my generation, make and model of vehicle. They stated the starter was caked in oil that made it hard for the starter to run and ended up causing it to go bad. I appreciated them informing me of this and notating it in writing on my paperwork so that I could contact the manufacturer to see about a refund. Their documentation helped me achieve that as well as get the original problem taken care of, the valve gasket replaced. I appreciated their continued communication with me and for being so flexible. I will use them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone in the saline or surrounding areas!!!

Comment: Called Saline Auto on a Monday to make an appointment for our 2014 Terrain to see if they could find out why it has a smell of gas from time to time when being driven. We use to take cars there many years ago and they still had us in their computer. The Terrain has had a gas smell problem for over a year. We have taken it to another garage several times and was always told nothing was wrong, no gas leaks. We are selling the car and needed to fix this problem. Saline Auto let me drop my car off the same day I called and knew what was wrong within 2 hours. It was fixed by Tuesday. Had a crack in the manifold and they replaced it and fixed the gas smell. During their inspection they discovered a problem with a recent repair made by a different shop that would require immediate attention. They not only went over those details with me but saw to it that I both understood and could articulate the problem found.Though I did not get the repairs done to the running board at that time I did bring my truck back to the orginal shop for them to inspect and repair. Comment: My family has been going to Saline Automotive for years, and weve always appreciated their excellent work, quick service and flexibility. I moved away for a couple years and was using another mechanic and that showed me how lucky I was when I had Saline Automotive nearby. I couldnt be more relieved to be back in the Saline area so I can bring the cars to Scott and Carl.

Comment: I just found our permanent mechanic for my parents’ vehicle. I was afraid of having to service the vehicle in Ann Arbor, but instead found Saline Automotive. I decided to try them since they had other positive reviews online. I asked Scott to replace the serpentine belts, evaluate transmission fluid residue on the pan, and also inspect the A/C refrigerant. We were prepared to pay a small fortune, but we were charged only for the belts. The transmission fluid wasn’t leaking; only a fastener needed to be torqued to spec. Scott said we could postpone the A/C work to spring/summer so we weren’t charged for the inspection. Pricing on the belt replacement was better than I expected. Next time Scott services our vehicle, I will leave a twelve pack in the car for not shaking us down like our Mazda dealership.
