Comment: Took my 2016 Scat Pack Challenger up to them to investigate my front brakes due to bad squeaking even though i only had 18,000 miles on this car. I called around to many repair shops and i either got people saying that all dodge cars brakes squeak or that they would not guarantee the work they would do. When i called Riverside and dealt with Hunter he was fair, honest and easy to work with. He not only replaced my front brakes with a good ceramic brake pad but also changed my oil and rotated my tires. He did this all for a great price and got my car back to me the same day. I would like others to know that this is the place if you need any repairs to your car. I know this is the only shop i will bringing my vehicles to. Thanks again Hunter !!!

Comment: I had to come here once to get my sideview mirrors fixed after my car was vandalized. Hunter was very professional and the job was done quick. Had to come back to get my brakes fixed and they did a great job. What I like the most is that they offer payment plans from Snap finance where you dont have to pay outta pocket the day your car is repaired but they take a set amount out of your account how ever often u get paid. My total was $289 and I only have to pay $23 every 2 weeks. That’s a very great option for people who Don’t have the money upfront but don’t have to wait till they get it in order to get their car fixed.

Googled auto repair and riverside was 1st on the list with good reviews so gave them a call. He arranged to have it towed to their shop and said he could have me back on the road the next day. They were able to figure out the problem, order parts and have it fixed all the next day, and also arranged a rental vehicle for the day so we did not have to wait around at the shop all day. Team was professional and got the job done quickly. Later on when I took a look under the car for myself, noticed that part of the styrofoam packaging was still wrapped around one of the new pipes. Removed it no problem but it was a small miss on the teams part. Overall, would definitely do business here again because of Brians positive, professional attitude. Comment: My husband found this shop online. Noticed that they had great reviews. So we decided to take my car in. I needed the flex pipe replaced. While looking underneath the car. The mechanic noticed that there was a hole in the oil pan. And notified my husband to see if he wanted to get that fixed as well. Wait not done yet. My air conditioner hadn’t worked since I bought the car. Used of course. The mechanic saw that my air conditioner cord wasn’t connected and offered to reconnect it. To see if he could get air circulating in my car. Without even charging some ridiculous price. No other shop has done this for me EVER. I’ve been to quite a few over the years. If that isn’t going above and beyond I don’t know what else I could say. This shop is awesome. Even the prices are reasonable. My car was ready in just a few hours. Car runs great. Comment: My go to mechanics. They are honest, reliable, and reasonable. Brian and Lenny are extremely courteous and detailed. However they are usually very busy, so be prepared to wait. Brought my car in multiple times for different services. My first time was getting the timing belt and water pump replaced. I received a quote lower than the dealer, got a ride to work, and got my car back the next day. The next service was for struts and axles I was quoted a fair price and received my car back the same day. Overall highly recommending lower prices than dealers and superior service. A+

Comment: Came in early as soon as they open. Brian and Lenny was there to welcome me with a smile and installed my replacement catalyst converter. The mechanic Lenny is very knowledgeable and installed my converter in time for me to leave out to my sons Championship basketball game. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. I have a Town and Country... very expensive vehicle... i will not let anyone play around that doesnt know what they are doing. Welds are done correctly and strong on my muffler line. Not sure what that last review was all about. Im having no issues with my work. I have provided proof of the weld and work done.

Awesome guy to deal with for costumer service and also a man of his word on the pricing. Shops will always seem to give u an o.t.d. price then there will be tacked on fees, not at this place it was exactly what he said it was going to be. I give a 5 🌟 rating for the quality of repair and install an 5 🌟 for the honest price. I will be back to get the rear shocks done in a couple weeks. Comment: My Chevy Impala was overheating and the Heat was not working in my car. I took it to a shop on Dix in Lincoln Park they had it for a few days, and said it was the lower Intake Gasket and my waterpump was leaking. So i said fix it of corsethe guy said $620 ,to make a long story shorter , That didnt fix my car I had a cracked head so the guy said for another $760 he will fix the Head gasket. I went crazy on the guy and he wrote me a check for my money back. So i called Brian he said he will fix the head for less than the check i received from the other guy in L.P. Brian and his uncle tried fixing my car with out opening the engine to save me $ Brian knew i was screwed over at the other shop. To sum it up i could have paid brian to fix the head for a decent price but He said he would put a New Used engine in for about the same amount of money. I gave him the money to find me an engine and once they got the engine in they took all the good stuff of my old engine and put them onto the new engine , ESPECIALLY the waterpump because it was brand new. EXTREMELY happy with the finished job car runs great and only has 70k on the engine Prices are good. Car is Good And I am good.......thanks to your whole team for treating me with respect. I will bring all my car problems to Brian for now on.

Had to tell it.First, I have an oldie but a goodie.. A 2003 , Crown Vic, that although rusted, doesnt usually give me any problems. I am old , rusted and disabled as well. I was reffered to Riverside by a friend. The repair was minor but essential. I had been quoted an outrageous amount from two other repair shops.I am accustomed, as a woman, getting the run around from shops. I am so very grateful that I did not here. Riverside saved me a great deal of money. They treated me with respect and provided me outstanding customer service. Staff were even attentive to MY comfort while I waited for repair. Cudos to owner/ management. Dont hope to have to see them often... But there service to my car and me, has created a new loyal customer.

I brought my vehicle here after a friend recommended them – he said they did some work on his Range Rover. I just dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon. I met Brian and he quickly gave me a quote on my service work. Brakes needed replacing all-around. He got me a quote faster than the dealer on the phone. I asked him if I came back the next day if he could do all of the work in a couple of hours and he said yes. Shocked – I said I would be back tomorrow. I have owned this car since new and it has always been to the dealer for service, so I was worried about going to an independent shop for what I believe is a rather complicated vehicle (BMW X5). Brian and Mike(?) took it on and did a great job – quick and for a good price. I am very happy and will be back. I also had them change the oil and filter, quick clean. I will be back – this was hassle free and these guys knew what they were doing.

Comment: Great service. Car started smoking (literally) from the hood while I was on the Southfield freeway. Got on google and found Riverside Auto was close...well that was very lucky. Chatted with Brian and he was very very helpful, told me to wait there and theyd get me towed right away. He got me towed to his shop, found the issue, radiator was leaking from some tubes (Ill be honest, Im a novice and cant remember what they were called, but Brian showed me where the issues were, and the the leaking was obvious). They gave me a quote with all the repairs needed. I excused myself for a moment, presumably to think about it, but really to get on google and compare their quote to message board experts expected pricing on a similar repair....and Riverside was below every single expected cost. So needless to say, got the work done and Riverside got me on my way quickly. From broken down, to towed, repaired and on my way in just a couple of hours. Sucks to break down, but glad it happened near Riverside Auto Care.

Comment: I was experiencing difficulty with my car over heating and was nervous to drive it in fear of causing major damage. I called several auto shops for consultation and prices for service. All the shops I called I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me because of my lack of knowledge. I called Riverside in Lincoln Park and spoke with Jason and he was nothing but helpful. He was able to tow my car into his shop for a free diagnosis. I was taken care of immediately and for a very affordable price. I highly recommend this place and referred friends who went to their new shop in Southgate and had the same experience.
