Comment: Took my Jeep out of 4 years of storage, knew my first stop had to be Righter’s. It needed tires, an oil change, wasn’t putting out any heat. The engine light was on. The list was long…. They did the diagnostic, sent me the results with pictures and costs. In the order of what had to be done and what could wait. Answered all my questions. I chose to have them fix it all, make it road ready and warm! 2 days later it’s done. It’s like a new vehicle, and yes, it has heat. Righter’s has the nicest, most efficient group of guys I’ve dealt with. Getting the Jeep fixed right the first time lets me park and cover up my new truck so it won’t have to do Michigans Winter Wonderland. A win-win deal. You can’t go wrong with Righter’s, they do things the right way the first time. I highly recommend them.

I told them what I needed, Rich at the front desk had me send him a photo of the VIN and in an hour I received a detailed quote. When I dropped the vehicle off, Rich gave me a detailed explanation of the quote and timeline. It was an expensive repair but they were right in the middle of the two other quotes I got. When they discovered another problem they called with a detailed explanation and additional quote. There were no surprises. I paid exactly what was quoted and they completed the work exactly when they said they would. When I got the car home I checked all the work. They did it like Id do it. Nobody in the history of the world enjoys the hassle and expense of automotive repairs. Righters did right by me! Would I recommend them? Absolutely!

This was around noon on a Monday. They got my truck diagnosed correctly and fixed my truck. While they had it I had them replace my back brakes. All repairs completed and I had my truck back Tuesday afternoon. Thank you Righters! My new repair shop for my old truck!!

Happened on our Volvo and now on my truck. Truck has oil leaks and we looked at a few things while it was in for oil change. Still waiting for estimate to get emailed or a phone call.Similar with the Volvo. It was in For it’s first oil change as it’s newest owner and I asked for suggested maintenance estimates based on mileage and Volvos suggested maintenance schedules. Like fluids, belts, timing chain, pumps, etc. called back to remind you I was waiting on that but it never came.Also, Jeff is very friendly but is always in such a rush, unnecessarily. It’s odd. Makes me feel like my service is being rushed and you really don’t have the time to work on my vehicle.So, I’ll just keep coming for oil changes.

I told them what I thought the problem was (bad body control module-BCM) when I had it towed to their shop on Grand River Hwy. in Grand Ledge. Problem turned out to be a bad BCM. It was replaced quickly with minimal issues. Righters provided fast repair service, but it was pricey. I have nothing to compare it to as far as cost. This was my first time using their service and I will use them in the future if necessary.

Comment: Chrysler dealership didnt fix my car properly, Righters diagnosed the problems that the dealer misdiagnosed (telling me I needed a catalytic converter as well as other things) stalling and sputtering, when it was the PCM module which runs the entire car. Took a couple days to find a replacement part and the made a few other repair suggestions based on the diagnostics. Took a couple weeks, but they kept me informed on the status of the car and the parts. Car runs great, great people, honest and upfront! Will bring car here from now on for repairs and honest, friendly service!!

I suspected 1 bad wheel bearing due to noise, they didnt only find a second wheel bearing going bad, but also a safety concern regarding an extremely loose tie rod arm. I was given a loaner car for convenience, they called me very early in the morning to let me know the diagnosis, and again around noon when they completed everything in the same day! From first point of contact, to receiving my car repaired, my expectations were exceeded and I truly felt cared for. Cost was expected and in NO way did I feel forced to make a decision or taken advantage of. I will see you guys again for my next Auto Needs!!

Comment: This was the first time I used Righters and used them twice. Once for each vehicle with different issues. Its a nice place and the drop off was quick and easy. I got a call after the assessment was done and also a text message with all the items the tech saw as an issue on my car. This was a link that opened up a page that listed all the items. This was beyond what I was dropping it off for. It was double edged because I was made aware of some other issues the vehicles were having. This made the potential cost go up significantly but I chose to focus on what I dropped it off for and there was zero pressure to have any of the additional items worked on which was nice. Its good know for the future and its good for Righters too because they are looking out for their customer and potentially gaining additional work from that awareness. A win win. The work seems to done very well and I am satisfied with Righters and will be using them in the future. The staff that I interfaced with were very easy to talk to and nice in return. Thanks!

Comment: My older Cadillac Escalade had been leaking oil since I purchased it and drove it back from Oregon in the summer of 2021. Another local shop in town had worked on it several times and never been able to successfully find and repair the leak. As my family is heading out of town for a long road trip soon, I wanted the issue resolved. A patient recommended Righters so I booked an appointment with the friendly service writer Jeff over the phone. Forty minutes after dropping it off, Jeff was calling to say that they knew exactly what the problem was, had repaired many similar vehicles with good success and that he was confident they would be able to correct the issue. I had excellent communication with the shop the entire time, with several updates from Jeff as to the status of my repair. He even called to let me know that during the courtesy inspection of the rest of my vehicle, they discovered that the rear brakes only had 0.5mm left of pad, something my previous shop had failed to note on a recent oil change and inspection. They were able to complete all my repairs in a very timely manner and paying for my repairs via text to online invoice was a snap. I was a little dismayed to find a small oil spot on my garage floor the morning after picking up my repaired vehicle. One call back to Righters had them asking to bring the vehicle back in for a recheck immediately. They determined that because I had had such an extensive leak for so long, it was residual oil being heated from the outside of the engine block and dripping, not a new leak. I was able to get the donut tire on but didn’t want to drive on the expressway all the way to Grand Rapids and was completely unfamiliar with the Grand Ledge area. My daughter found Righters on Google and spoke with them, giving them my tire information. I had already been told by my dealership that I needed new tires but had procrastinated. They examined all the tires and agreed they needed to be replaced, but , said they could replace all 4 or just the one. No high pressure to sell me the 4 tires. I opted to get all 4 replaced and they cost less than the estimate I had received from the dealership. They were super nice, their waiting area was very clean and I walked out a very satisfied customer. Highly recommend.

They were able to determine that I had an issue with the batteries and not an electrical issue. A lot of places would have done electrical work instead of identifying a bad run of batteries (and charged a lot for it). They also identified additional issues, some I can fix and some they fixed. They even gave me a ride when I dropped it off and picked it up. Great expertise and great customer service.

I was in a bind because we were headed down to West VA that weekend to pick up a puppy and I needed air in my truck for the trip. James at Righters kept me informed the whole time and showed me other areas that need attention for my truck. They allowed me to choose what other items need some TLC. The repair on the air was expensive as I knew it would be but cheaper than the dealership.We made our trip to West VA and I let my truck rest for several days when we got back. The next time I drove it, the air was not working. It was blowing air but not cold. Today, I took it back, Righters put dye in it, found a small leak and fixed it at no charge! My wife and I were out for a ride in our 2004 T-Bird when it suddenly stopped running and left us stranded. I called Righter’s and attempted road side repairs by explaining my problem and asking them for possible solutions. When it was evident the problem couldn’t be resolved road side, I had the car towed to Righter’s. Righter’s assured me the car would remain inside the shop if they were unable to repair and the car had to remain overnight. Righter’s then gave my wife and I a ride home. Within an hour they diagnosed the problem and called to give me an estimated cost of repair. Several hours Later they had the repair completed and we could come pick it up. Comment: My family and I have been doing work with Righters for quite a few years now; I personally have been for the past 7. These guys are great to work with. Theyre fast,theyll friendly, and theyll happily answer questions about the work that needs to be done, and they always keep you in the loop with quotes and the work theyre doing as they do it. Ive had some work done by other shops, and Id prefer that my car be worked on here 100% of the time. They do the right work, and they do it right.

Comment: My co-worker recommended Righter’s to me as I needed to get new brakes on my 2014 Ford Focus. About an hour after I dropped my car off, I received a detailed vehicle health report sorted by the areas that were most critical to non-critical. Korey gave me a quote to replace my brakes over text, which was convenient as I was at work, and made suggestions about how to proceed. I felt respected and a part of the decision-making process, never ‘told’ what I had to do. I will certainly be back when I need more work done, the prices are competitive and customer service is excellent! Thank you Righter’s :-)

Comment: My experience at righters is always great! Its never great having to get your vehicle fixed because it can be very costly but all costs aside these guys ( Corey Scott and there crew) would give you the shirt off there backs! If your stranded on the side of the road come rain snow or sunshine they would come rescue you no doubt in my mind!!I also love that its family owned and operated! ( there parents did a good job raising there boys) I recommend this place to one and all! Oh I guess I should mention that the work they do on your vehicle will be as amazing as your experience! And remember people when they call to give you the bad news about your vehicle Whether its a big repair or a small repair its not their fault but they will fix it! Thanks Corey! ~kelli~

Comment: We had our muffler and exhaust come loose while on the highway the day after Christmas. Not only did they get us in right away to fix it, they gave us a great rate and got us back on the road in under 2 hours. Plus they were nice to our dog who was very scared about the whole ordeal.

As a working student, I dont always have the time to answer calls but they adapted to texting me so I was still informed about my car and even took it a step further to send me pictures to illustrate their point. Comment: These guys are on top of their game. I have had 3 of our family vehicles repaired at Righters for over a year and I have been 100% satisfied with their work. They wont compromise your vehicle by not suggesting a repair or fix. On the flip side if a repair doesnt need to be done they wont tell you it needs to be. Honesty and integrity is alive at this auto repair facility.If these guys were doctors they would be rated top in their field. My hats off to Korey and Greg for a job well done.

Comment: Very personalized service! When I need auto repairs I will only go here. His business relies on word of mouth and his quality shows! Will provide options and a recommendation based on different budgets, but refuses to use parts that have a poor track record. Always a great value. Highly recommend!!
