Comment: I can say a lot about Revive Auto Repair, when I first met Nick it was over the phone, he was professional and told me to stop in my car was squeaking and making noises, he drove it , a few minutes later I was on my way. It needed Lube, it hasnt made any noise since, that was 4 months ago! (the dealership couldnt tell me anything!) oh yea-dealerships Dont Lube!!Months later my engine light came on, I called Nick he ask me if I can drop off my car so he can inspect the car, I used the drop off service later that night, the next day after inspection Nick called and advised me what it needed I agreed for him to fix my car The next day after work I was on the road again.Nick is very knowledgeable, I drive a Mazda CX5 and he knew exactly what was needed. Comment: I brought my boyfriends car here while he was at work and came 2 hours before my appointment without asking because I had a work meeting and wanted to work from the free WiFi in their office for my meeting while they did the oil change. The WiFi was perfect and they got the car right in and were done even before my virtual meeting. Also fixed the trunk handle without me asking and gave me a free car wash. Wasnt interested in doing business at all UNTIL the owner (Nick) actually CALLED me back to rectify the situation. Ill also add he was very calm and professional in handling the discrepancy.I came in the next day and he got me in and out with my A/C issue. Really detail oriented and didnt let me leave until A/C was ice cold. Reasonable prices and good service from Nick. My first visit to the shop as a stranger he treated me like a regular customer. He went above and beyond - would definitely visit his shop for future repairs!As an added bonus I also say that they offer low income repair for families in need. Comment: This is long overdue, but I’ve been going to Nick and his team for the last 5 years and don’t go to anyone else, unless he specifically recommends to me another shop as they can do it for lower cost without reducing quality standards. Learned long ago that it’s usually a waste of my time anyways as his rates are competitive but experience and care for your car/transparency is unmatched.I’ve used his shop for my 05 Volkswagen as well as my Chevy Malibu, and know my new gr86 will be going there too when any maintenance work is needed (not for a bit).Super honest staff, good communication, and you know your not getting ripped off. I’ve had Nick and team tell me on multiple occasions “you don’t need that”, or “you need to have this done, not now, but within the next 3-6 months. Here let me show you” and then proceed to show/teach me. Additionally, if there’s a more expensive part but it’s their reccomendation due to better performance and life, he explain why but ask what I want to go with.It’s the transparency and long term business owner mentality for me, which is why I’ll always use/recommend nicks shop.

Comment: Recently bought a used Audi Q5 and was searching for a trustworthy repair shop in the area. I went to Revive due to its stellar reviews and having experienced their customer service first-hand, I can understand why they have such great reviews. I had my brake pads and rotors replaced at a decent price, the brakes perform nicely so all good there.But when I bought my Q5, I noticed it didn’t come with the backup camera, and having heard a $750 quote from another shop (clearly a rip off), I was apprehensive but thought I’d ask Nick to give me a quote anyway-- $105 installation fee (not including parts). The wireless backup camera I purchased from BestBuy wasn’t a great fit for my car, so Nick went above and beyond doing research for me, and recommended (a even cheaper) backup camera that works perfectly for my car. The new camera works great, but what impressed me the most is Nick’s professionalism, and amazing trustworthy customer service. For that, I’d highly recommend Revive and Nick to anyone looking for top notch service and great customer experience.

Since replacement parts are no longer manufactured, Revive contacted local used part suppliers to no avail. A source was located on the West coast USA. Once the parts arrived and installed, the car was again performing as new. This total process took only 24 hours. Nick and his staff have been excellent and honest in repairing my cars.

Nick quickly diagnosed the problem (bad alternator) and fixed my vehicle within a few hours. I had a gas tank replaced and about three days after it fell off wich WAS NOT thier fault because i blame ford for rust bucket issues.. But never the less Nick the owner had zero problems haveing it towed back to the shop and ate not only tow cost but the parts as well.. Now i did have a power steering issue wich needed a full replacement and did so in a timley fasion.. But with that being said the belt was also replaced and made squeeking noises wich drives me crazy considering its a buisness van and i hate pulling up to a customers house sounding like i have a bunch of gerbils on wheels.. Come to find out it was just the wrong size belt and is a easy fix..But thats small in comparison to the leangths they will go to make thier customers happy.. So i give them a 4 out of 5 stars.. If i get my belt fixed soon i have zero problems changing that to a 5 star rating... 😉

Comment: I was driving down the road and all of a sudden I heard a clunking noise in my wheel, I pulled over to the side and noticed that my tire was sitting inside of my fender and I didnt know what to do because I was just about to go out of town. I called a dozen places and none of them could get it done even within a week as well as their price quotes were over $1000. By the time I called Revive auto repair I was frustrated and I knew they werent going to help me, but I was wrong. Dakota walked out and got the keys to my vehicle and said dont worry will have this fixed up for you in a jiffy! I was a little doubtful but I had hope within three hours I was driving my vehicle and the bill only came to $350 which is a dramatic decrease from the thousands of dollars everybody else wanted to charge me! Comment: I was in Troy when my car started acting weird. Check engine light kept blinking. Being a student, car repairs could be scary. I called revive auto and got an appointment in next 2 hours. Spoke to Nick about what was happening and he was able to diagnose my car and get it back running again. It didnt hurt my wallet that bad. I would definitely come back here again.

Comment: Wow, I cannot say enough. My car runs Fantastic since I found Nick and one of his staff members, Karim, who is assigned to my car. Revive referrals came from two different auto part stores, 1 in Troy, other in Sterling Heights, to take my car to Revive. Nick is very patient, does not rush you, takes the time to explain what you need and do not need. The other repair shop damaged my car severely, in which Revive was able to repair to a top quality car again! I did not want to purchase another car and now I do not have to. Karim is assigned to my car and he is so witty and easy-going. I felt I needed to have my brakes service, but Nick refuse to, stating to me, YOU do not need new brakes right now and I will not perform and charge you for a service that you do not need. Wow! I felt the hourly charge for labor was a little steep, but after receiving my car back and the way it is running now, it was worth it! Karim suggested I switch to premium gasoline for better engine performance, and he was on point, amazing results! See you guys again in the future for regular maintenance!

Comment: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Fantastic customer service and extremely skilled technicians. Nick and his staff are conscientious, honest and reliable. Work is top quality, and repairs are done right the first time. Their prices are fair and they never push you to purchase a service that you dont need. Will definitely revisit the shop if I require any future auto repairs.
