The one dealer said they couldn’t find anything wrong, the second dealer said I needed a sway bar link which they replaced but apparently didn’t need.I decided to try Reliable Auto Service and explained what I was hearing. Later in the I got a call saying I needed control arm bushings.So far I am very pleased with the work done.

Comment: I was referred to Reliable Auto by Vince of Lightning Fast Electrical. Just as their name apply, they were Reliable and reasonable. I brought my car to Reliable on Monday, August 14. Kenny couldnt get to it due to an unforeseen issue he had with another auto repair. He didnt want me to be without my vehicle during that time, and promised he would call me when he had an opening. Vince called me on Tuesday, and I dropped the car off that evening, My car was inspected and diagnosed on Wednesday morning, the repair was approved, and I was out the door with my vehicle Wednesday afternoon...fast and hassle free. Thank you Kenny and to the guys at Reliable Auto!

I was hoping to see a bit more of a negotiation on the labor pricing..I had two mechanics working on my van which helped with getting it back to me on time, I realize that but it didn’t take even close to 7 hours in labor and then they also charged me labor for BOTH fluid services. Now technically if a shop is doing a job the size of shocks and struts (big money)they should have discounted the labor on the fluid services. I mean, that’s just a little advice on how to really get a customer back for their next repair need. Overall I had a good experience here.

A few days later he called to say that all I needed was a new battery! I had been told that I needed a new alternator!! Being naive and not being a mechanic, I would have agreed to an alternator. He assured me that only the battery had to be replaced.I respect his honesty and integrity. Reliable Auto Service will be my place to go from now on.

Comment: I chose this place because of their positive reviews and proximity to my work. I also like to support small businesses when I can. I had rear rotors and brake pads installed plus an oil change. $350 for everything, which is pretty fair. Everyone I talked to was friendly and professional and the job was done by the time I finished work, so there was no waiting around. They’re not allowing anyone inside due to Covid, so the guy met me outside, ran my card, and I was on my way home in minutes. The only negative was that I needed a tire repaired but they don’t have the equipment to take the tire off the rim to do a repair, so I have to go somewhere worse to get that done. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied!

Comment: I had previously gone to a mechanic that shall not be named and got quoted for some bizarre things and high prices. I called Reliable Auto, got a much lower quote. When I went into the shop I was pleased at how nice every worker was as well as how nice the lobby was (silly to note but anywhere that offers coffee and candy and comfy stools should be noted). They got the struts and sway bar links done on my jeep in a timely fashion, and saved me additional money on top of the already lower quote. I appreciate that they werent out to scam me. I will continue to take my vehicle back here and recommend it to others.

Now I have been to other shops and know that I was taken for as far as giving me a fair estimate. Reliable gave me a great price, went out of his way to fix my car and keep it up to parr. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. He did the car that same day and within an hour. Very professional and very courteous. Comment: The starter is my Ford Ranger took a crap about a week ago at the State Farm office across the street from Reliable. I attempted the repair myself, but got in over my head with this attempt and decided I would take it to a shop. Right across the street was Reliable and I figured Id give it a shot and I am glad I did. I went in and told them the problem I was having and they came across the street to troubleshoot it. They didnt just skip trying to pinpoint the problem and sell me something I didnt need. They made an honest attempt to get my truck started, but had no luck. They gave me an honest estimate about the cost of the repairs, but didnt try to scare or pressure me into anything. I thought the quote was very reasonable and decided to let them do the repairs. About an hour later, they called me up and told me my truck was ready to go. They were quick and did a good job of getting my truck going again. To top it all off, I received a nice thank you card from their staff for my business - this is the right way to do business. More companies should take note of how Reliable does business because they dont just cut contact with you once you leave and act like youre just another number. They take the time to make sure the job is done right and appreciate everyones business. I would definitely take my truck or car here again.
