Comment: I was elated to find this shop for all of my vehicles. I have a friend who told me about this great shop. After years of using the dealership. What a difference this shop is. They call you the same day that they are working on and are taking a look at your vehicle (meaning the same day that you drop your vehicle off) They let you know what is wrong and what the cost will be, etc. The dealership that Id used for years would have my vehicle anywhere from a week or longer. This shop is full of talent, professional and caring mechanics. With owning a business like I do, my vehicles need to be up and running in tip-top shape. I finally found a place able to takes care of all my vehicles. Also great prices and friendly smiles.

Comment: 1/12/23 my heat stop working in my 2017 GMC Terrain and 1/13/23 that morning I called Redford Auto Repair and the man who answered the phone was pleasant. I was told to bring my ride up there and they would be able to take a look at it in 2 hours, we’ll when my husband and I dropped it off I received a call from Joseph saying what the issue was, the price and when it will be ready. So from 10am to 12:30pm my ride was fixed and ready for me. Redford Auto Repair removed and replaced my blower motor resistor and blower motor assembly. They were fast and efficient! Great customer service! This was my first visit, but my husband frequently takes his trucks there. So far so good my heat is working great! I liked that Joseph reached out to me to make sure everything is working well and that if I had any concerns to reach out. I would definitely recommend Redford Auto Repair! Thanks again guys!

They towed my car on a Sunday, called me first thing Monday morning explaining in great detail what needed to be done and fixed it by end of business day Monday.Joe and Nate are who helped me, I believe they are the owners. Both men of integrity. I don’t know much about cars, so the patience answering all my questions was much appreciated.The front desk staff and mechanic I spoke with were beyond kind and professional.The price I was quoted was great. I was expecting to pay much more to be honest.I’m very thankful I listened to the recommendation.I did stop in on Saturday when my check engine light came on (separate issue from first visit). I called and the front desk remembered me, and they had me back on the road in less than 30-40 minutes.(If you read this, thank you again!)

After that my abs light came on so I was nervous about driving far, but my sister referred me to this place. When I say they got me together so quick and accurately I was back rolling before my children got out of school the same day and we Definitely feel safer with everything they fixed. Comment: I called Redford Auto Repair on a late Friday evening hoping I could at least drop my vehicle off and have a diagnosis some time the following week. However, early Saturday morning I received a call detailing my check engine light and other mechanical issues. Before any work was performed, I was able to review the diagnosis, review the estimate for the work and was allowed a second opinion before approving anything to be done. I took my vehicle to another shop who provided me with the same diagnosis, but wanted to charge me more than double what Redford Auto Repair quoted me. Ultimately, I returned my vehicle to Redford Auto Repair who repaired my vehicle same day. Thank you 🙏

JOE took care of me the whole way through like Ive never been to any establishment that has helped me, had the patiences with me and mainly just feel confident that everything will be OK. Nothing was going right for me vehicle wise since the first of January then In March I called told Joe everything he came got my truck the next day..that same day told me some real depressing news that I kinda already knew was coming that I mind as well junk it at this point I instantly started giving up but Joe didnt he made me feel like everything was still going to work out and that I will be able to finally end these vehicle problems and he was right. I had been trying to get a loan for a car of the lot but kept failing and he sent me to there other part of the establishment which is a car lot and I was able to get something from there and I cant tell u how grateful I am of Joe like .. Comment: They are friendly and fast, within five minutes my car was in the garage for a quick oil change. they looked at my brakes and rotors to let me know what was wrong all before I went to work at 12! I was also given information about the VIP program which is awesome.

Comment: I had an excellent experience here, awesome Customer service. All the guys were friendly which made the time of them changing my oil fly by. Lowest price Ive paid for an oil change this far. Saad also fixed a piece under my car with no charge. I plan to return for future services & I would recommend the business to others.

Comment: Great customer service! Anytime I need work done on my vehicles I always bring it to them. I have a Saturn and a Mazda they have serviced both vehicles and Im very pleased with the work that had to be done. They are friendly, honest and do great work. Also, I love that the waiting room and bathroom are always clean, thats not common in a lot of car shops. I recommended this place to my mother and she also had a great experience!

Comment: You should know that they have a sign hanging in the lobby offering a discount on your next purchase if you write a review here. Now thats not to say that these reviews arent accurate, but you also should know that in order to receive the discount you have to bring a printout of the review to their location for them to view. So if I were going to bring this in for a discount and for them to read, lets just say I might write a kinder, gentler evaluation. Considering the above, you might conclude that the ratings may be, how should I say this, a little skewed. However, you could look at this in the opposite way. Being that any company encouraging you to document their service on Google is definitely proud of their customer relations, realizes the importance of good service and obviously has their company mantra based on the proven theory that businesses that treat customers properly thrive (IE Amazon, Apple) where-as companies that treat their customers poorly eventually close.(IE Sears, Target) My review? Politeness 5.0, Courteousness 5.0, Workmanship 4.0, Listening 3.0, Communication 2.0. Most importantly though, will I go back there to have my vehicle serviced? Absolutely Yes!

Comment: I called about an oil change. The price was AMAZING after Valvoline - only $30 for my Cadillac that takes 7.5 quarts of oil (extra charge)! They also got me in very quickly. Looking forward to future oil changes here.

Comment: By far the best experience Ive ever had at a mechanic. My car need almost 2000 dollars in work and a miracle. The team over at Redford auto walked me through the entire process. They showed me piece by piece what was wrong. They explained in full detail how they would fix it and did so in a timely manner. They gave me the best possible service. I am so glad I found a mechanic I can actually trust! I recommend their services to any and everyone who is tired of being taken advantage of!

Comment: I went for an oil change. The staff was very professional and friendly. Service was fast. After conducting a general inspection they got right to the point w/ informing me on what services they recommend, and I did not feel pressured. I drive a 2004 Saab, and its tough finding a trusted shop w/ knowledgeable and experienced mechanics. I have high hopes for Redford Auto Repair on Telegraph, and I definitely plan on coming back.

Comment: I was referred to Redford Auto Repair by a family member who said they provided excellent customer service. I called to verify timing and the gentlemen on the phine said come on in. Well, when I arrived I was given an approximate time of service with a friendly smile. Needless to say, they were able to provide excellent service to me for my car, diagnose the problem given my description and the mechanics assessment, and resolve the problem during my sitting. As I waited, I questioned programs they offer and was given good pricing for the services. Highly recommended!

Comment: The guys at the front desk are very professional. The mechanics do great work. I have been going to them for over a year and I dont have any complaints. The waiting room is always clean. Over all my experience with this auto repair shop has been great!. I would recommend them to anyone.

Comment: This car repair shop is simply AMAZING!!! Nate is awesome! He worked with me and came in early and stayed after hours to ensure my vehicle would be fixed. This last tume he gave me a $165 discount because he knew I didnt have much money. The prices and service is ALWAYS amazing. As a single woman, I trust this shop whole-heartedly! THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

Comment: I had to come write a review on the best auto repair shop I have ever known. I been coming for a while with minor/major repairs to me lol. Nate is beyond reasonable with his pricing. He is always nice and honest about the work that needs to be done. The repairs I had was a wheel alignment (which I had bell tire do months before) new pads and rotors I have never had a problem since the repairs. I love this place I support no one else but REDFORD AUTO!! 👍

Comment: My car was down for a really long time because I blew my transmission. More specifically, my girlfriend blew the transmission. We saved for a very long time to get it fixed - she got rides to work for almost eight months until we could afford to get a used transmission put in. We thought the price was reasonable and called a tow company to get it to a place on the East side. The tow company suggested we take the car to Redford Auto because it was closer and they did great work. Not only did they match the price, the service was unbelievably professional and I got a longer warranty for the work than I would have going East.While that was great, thats not the kicker. They really do guarantee their work.A couple of weeks after the Great Flood of 14 (anyone from Detroit knows what Im talking about), my transmission started acting up again. I called Redford, desperate. I asked them about the warranty, and they allowed me to bring the car in. There was ... water in the trans. Warranty doesnt cover it, of course. Instead of sending me away and forcing my family to be out of not only a car, but our minds for another few months (did I mention that we have school age kids?), they did everything that they could. The car is RUNNING!!! The transmission is smoother, and we now have some time to work on getting another vehicle without not having transportation.Thank you, Ali! Honest, solid guy,
