Comment: I want to thank the men at Protected Auto Repair. My son and I came up to Cadillac because my father died. My son was driving me around and his truck just died in the middle of Mitchell St. We got towed to Protected. The lady in there told us that we were in the best place in town. We told them our story of my fathers death and us being from our of town. The man said it would probably be about 3-4 day for repairs but called my son 4hrs later to say the truck was ready and what it would cost. We raced up there to pay and get his truck. When we pulled up they were praying. We walked in when they were done and they proceeded to tell my son that the repairs were on them. We just started to cry. They asked if they can pray over us. He said a prayer with us and told us God bless and have a good night. Bless you all at Protected Auto. Its really nice to know there are still compassionate people in the world.

Comment: I honestly am crying as i write this. I sincerely want to thank protected auto for your kindness. My husband and I went there in dispair as we had a flat tire and didnt know what to do only had 20 until oay day. As we were a long ways from home. The young man had us follow him around back of the shop. Where he removed the flat tire and took it inside awhile later he came back out put it a different tire on. We went around front to see what was owed and held our breath as only had 20. When my husband went inside he came out with tears in his eyes and said the owner said it was on him and god bless us. Wow like wow thank you so much for your generosity god bless this company .

Also, the lady who pulled in next to me, they checked her oil and told her that it was good and no need to change.You dont see that much these days and its amazing to have the confidence that when I pull my car in, not only are they going to change my oil, but also tell me what else needs to be done and what doesnt.

Comment: This business is the best I’ve found yet. I had problems finding a shop that I felt comfortable with. Simply just trusting there staff work on my vehicles and not over priced and not feeling like they were trying to make a fortune off of me by having me fix things that’s truly not needed. And once I found protective auto I knew my search for a shop to workin my vehicle was over. That I had found the man for the job! And he over looks/over sees his employees work as well. He’s a great guy running a great business! #1 in town in my book! Would never go anywhere else! If you don’t go here you should probably think about changing shops!

They replaced a bad driveshaft in my Jeep. Got it done right and FAST. I was able to save money on a rental car because they finished the project early. Love Paul and the crew at Protected. Comment: Brought my car in on a Saturday to fix a coil pack. Ended up not fixing it, and when I received my car it was running even more rough than before, but only paid $45 so I wasn’t buggin’. I gave them a ring, and they said they could get me in on Monday to see what the mishap was. Completely understandable, but was a little frustrated due to the fact that I’m a delivery driver and I’m missing work everyday I’m out my vehicle. Bring it in Monday morning at 8am for a fuel injector, spark plugs, front break pads and rotors. I Call around 3pm asking the estimated time of when I can pick up, and they said end of the day it will be good but they didn’t have time to do my breaks and rotors. Get a call at 4:20 stating they can’t finish the job because they’re out of time, and they’ll have to finish up the next day. At this point I’m past frustrated, because I’m losing money everyday I’m out of work. If they would’ve said in the beginning it would’ve taken till Tuesday this would be 100% OK, understandable. Owner is very professional, just wish my car would be fixed when I was told in the beginning.EDIT: Picked my vehicle up on Tuesday morning, vehicle runs smoother than before. Talked to my fiancé about how the problem that’s been happening with my vehicle must’ve been the fuel injector all along, he replaced my spark plugs at no charge. Cheaper than I expected, and I didn’t have to miss work another day like I was intending. Owner gave me a personal call and made my visit right. Sometimes your vehicle can cause more hassle than they expect, and I should’ve taken that in perspective.

Comment: We have used these guys for a number of fixes on different vehicles of ours. From simple tire changes or rotation to figuring out the tics you might not be able to find with other shops. Always friendly and courteous when dealing with these guys and never been dissatisfied with the results. Ready when they say they will be and reasonable on prices also.
