Comment: I just bought a new car and was super scared when i got home because the shifter was acting funny. Its almost 5 pm on Friday night and everyone is closing soon. I was actually hung up on by another company while looking for someone to service my car and remember my physical therapist referred me to these guys so i give them a call when they close in 30 minutes but I’m in major need of an inspection because i am scared to drive my car at this point. They tell me to come quickly and they can look at my car. They actually stayed a bit late to address all of my needs and it turns out i was scared for no reason. I did find out a few small things so it was a win win for me. I appreciate these guys very much and highly recommend them. Would give 10 stars out of 5 😁. Comment: I came to Platinum Auto recommended by a fellow co-worker. I talked to Paul about an estimate on a radiator replacement He told me he didnt want quote me on something that might not needed to be replaced, so he scheduled an appointment for me the next morning as soon as they opened to do an inspection, but in the end needed it replaced. Platinum Auto had the most competitive price compared to other shops Ive called. They also did a complimentary inspection on other things on my Jeep that needed to be fixed and sent me pictures and quotes and they even offered me a ride home since I use my Jeep as my daily driver and they needed the Jeep the most of the day. Safe to say I was very impressed with the customer service, both David and Paul did an excellent job being open about issues and concerns with what needed to be fixed, so thank you guys. I will definitely be back for more work.

Comment: I’d like to say i found this repair shop on accident dropped off my vehicle received a call the next day that it was ready, to my surprise the work was fast and relatively priced fairly, i am now a customer i just picked up my honda accord from them today i got a quote from another local repair shop, they over priced the quote and rounded up the labor time alloyed for the job once again platinum came in at almost 1/2 the cost, i highly recommend platinum they are fast and very courteous and are very affordable they have certified ASE mechanics that are very knowledgeable, i highly recommend them ….

Comment: Seth and his team are top notch professionals. They are honest in their approach in fixing your vehicle. They will inform you of what is an immediate issue and those that are able to be done later. I have used them for years now. Everything from custom motor swap, fuel issues, suspension and brakes as well as general maintenance. What I like best is if you have your own parts they will install them for you, but you will not get the part warranty that they offer if they obtained the parts themselves. They will outsource used parts sometimes if it is a hard to find or a part that is no longer available or not offered for purchase as well had this happen on the 2008 Dodge Charger that they did a 2.7L to 3.5L engine swap on for me. BTW it turned out great too and was a great value. All in all they are a good honest repair facility that respects their customers and do their best to keep costs down..

This summer my ac wasnt working and while driving by I saw their sign say ac recharge and ac repairs 10% off so I went in and asked about it. They explained what they do and how much. I made an appointment that day. When I was getting my ac looked at they looked at my whole car and gave me a list of things that needed to be done. Just had the ac fixed and since they were so nice I said I would be back. Today I came back and got my brakes, streeing leak, and oil pan gasket fixed. Paul was very informative, helpful, keeping me up to date quickly, and I really appreciated how thorough they were with my car. Comment: Had an excellent experience at Platinum Auto Repair. They are friendly, professional, and take pride in their work. I was able to call and make an appointment for my brake pad and rotor replacements over the phone. The process was easy, and they immediately sent me a quote for the cost of parts and labor so that I could review the total cost before committing to working with them, which I really appreciated. Their prices are fair, and they dont try to upsell you on things you dont need, but they will be transparent with you if theres something else your car needs. Afterwards, my brakes felt awesome, but there was a grinding noise that turned out to be a caliper sticking. I took my car back to Platinum Auto that same week, and they fixed my caliper free of charge under warranty. I trust these guys and will definitely return for any auto repairs in the future.

Upon scheduling my vehicle I spoke with a gentleman, Scott Bryan whom of which relayed kindness and diligence in getting my vehicle in very quickly as well as communicating a repair estimate that is incomparable to competing shops around. Opinions fromother shops ranging from engine rebuilds to transmission work. These guys looked at it for 30 minutes and knew it didn’t require that amount of work and money. They got me in the next week and had it fixed in a day. Scott and the guys are honest, intelligent, and work quickly. I recommend using them for your auto repair needs!

Seth, the founder, operates the newer #1 location which has a luxurious look and feel to it. Both locations offer excellent service at realistic prices.On my first visit to Platinum with my aging car, Seth repaired my leaking gas line, saving me $1,160. The dealership had recommended I replace the entire gas line for about $1,200. I have had Platinum do all my car servicing and repair work since.

Called many shops in the holland/grand haven area to get an idea of cost and down time it would take to get the job done. All but platinum either couldn’t/wouldn’t do it, or wanted $100+ to diagnose, and tell me what I already knew needed to be done. Seth and Glenn were very professional and gave me an accurate quote the first time I called. Before starting they recommended other items to replace since the motor was getting torn down. Throughout the whole process I was kept in the loop of everything going on. Highly recommend for any of your automotive repair needs.
