They were very customer oriented, knowledgeable and talented with vintage vehicles. It’s been decades since we received customer service like this. Also very clean lobby and polite staff. Update: Return visit, I had new problem with my truck so I went back to Patriot. I met Pete the service manager and he and 1of his techs took a scanner and went to the truck. They came back with the problem diagnost. Pete let me go home to wait while he ordered the parts. Went back when the parts got there and was back on the road very quickly. Prices are very fair and I will be back here whenever I need quality work .

Comment: This is the best auto shop in Michigan. I went to a major tire place to have my front suspension, shocks, and springs done. They wanted almost $1900. I was told by another customer of Patriot auto to give Pete the service manager a call to get a quote. He had the owner Jason come tow my car, as it was not drivable, to give me the right quote. The owner Jason came to my home to pick up my car, he is just so super nice. He has a very cute partner, Romeo the super puppy. The owner towed my car to the shop, where Pete and the guys looked over my vehicle and called me with a quote. Let me tell you, they saved me $700!! My car drives like it was just built! Pete is just so super friendly and let us pay over the phone and pick up my car after the shop was closed because I work later. I had an itemized bill that I could understand and Pete kept me informed the whole time they had my car. There was more things wrong then I knew and he called me before the guys did anything we didnt agree on. Pete also told me what was necessary to drive the car and what could wait a small while til I had more money to fix it. I have never been to a more honest, fair, friendly auto shop. The owner does the towing and you can tell he genuinely loves his job and his shops. I will definitely use Patriot auto from now on for all my auto repairs. Thanks guys! You saved me money and I feel completely satisfied and safe driving my car now.

Comment: Patriat towing hauled my Jeep to their service garage in Almont Michigan in a timely manner at a very reasonable rate. They exchanged my blown engine with a remanufactured engine from Frasier engine builders , with additional parts as needed, to complete this project. All the people I spoke to at JDs Patriot Auto Care and Towing either on the phone or in person very pleasant friendly experience and knowledgeable I was treated like family. Comment: This shop is the best auto repair around. I’ve had my car and my daughter’s car worked on here. Pete, the service manager is amazing. It’s an honest shop where you feel at ease knowing up front what they are going to work on. As soon as they know if there is more work to be done, Pete calls and advises you of cost, time and what can possibly wait if you need to get funds together. There is also a towing service and auto body shop owned by the same owner. I recommend to everyone I know having vehicle issues to call and talk with Pete. The owner, Jason, has been working on cars for most of his life and knows what he’s talking about, if it’s something they don’t do, he will be up front and tell you. It’s nice to see people are still honest and not just out for your money. You will not be disappointed. They also do hemi engine rebuilds. Hands down, best work for your dollar.

Comment: Talked to them over the phone while driving back from a trip. They got my truck in the shop a couple days later and had it done on time. I supplied most of the parts for the A/C repair as well as a new serpentine belt and pully I wanted installed. After testing the A/C system they found I needed a new condenser and immediately called me to let me know, had price of part and availability wjen they called. I had them order it and set up a time to bring my truck back to finish up. That was completed on time and my A/C was working 100%. They also let me know they offered a veterans discount, I assume due to seeing my license plate that says disabled vet on it. All in all I think Ive found a great shop to work with. No complaints at all and Im pretty critical of repair shops because I am a heavy equipment mechanic. I 100% recomend this shop to anyone. They are just straight up honest people and thats hard to find.

We kept in contact between times and those guys were excellent from the service clerk all the way to the Maintainance crew even the dog was great... I brought in my car for the first time, and they were very professional and courteous. They called me back quickly to come and pick up my vehicle. Comment: Rebuilt my Chrysler 300s motor for the cheapest price around, work got done three weeks ahead of when I expected it (and was quoted) I was more than thrilled! 5000k miles in and two oil changes done only ran into one fault so far. When I took my car to another shop to get tge transmission looked at and they found a couple wire routed wrong during rebuild.... Took it back to Patriot and they fixed their mistakes same day zero questions, great customer service. Oil changes are always dirt cheap and get done within the hour as well 9/10 buisness no complaints.

Comment: When my car started over heating I called to a few places and no one could get my In to look at my van until Monday. I have 4 children and this being my only vehicle I was panicking, I spoke with Jennifer who was absolutely wonderful reassured me we would figure this out!! Comment: I just moved back to the area and I knew I had to get some work done on my 2003 explorer. My brother in law said call Patriot Auto, not only did he hear good things but They support the Military, my Dad a Marine and My Brother Air Force no question I was checking it out. I talked to Jason and I dropped it off, his mechanics did a total vehicle inspection. The best part was he videoed and took photos of the vehicle showing what needed to be done. What a great strategy. Jason and the crew made it right and made it safe to drive. The work that his crew did it now drives like a lincoln... And to get a follow up from Jason was the topper. Comment: My son went a little too deep in a pond with his Dodge Ram and ingested water into the engine and snapped a rod which blew a hole in the block. I trailered the truck two hours for Patriot to fix it. Patriot replaced the block as well as the water pump and rebuilt the motor to new specs. They finished in two weeks. Very happy with their work and professionalism. Hope I don’t need to use them again but I won’t hesitate if needed. That’s guys!

Comment: I have a 2009 Dodge ram hemi that needed a complete engine rebuild. From the time I dropped my truck off to the time that I picked it up I was consistently kept in the loop during my rebuild including pictures and multiple text messages.My motor sounds good. Looks good. And runs even better. turn around on my truck was 4 days sooner than what they told me. Jason came in after hours to release my truck to me so I could pick it up on the weekend. These guys are the real deal people. And there is no way that another shop will beat there price on a complete hemi rebuild. And Jason is so confident in his work that he backs his work with a 1 year unlimited mile warranty. I picked my truck up at the shop and immediately drove it 460 miles back up to the U.P without a hickup. I highly recommend Patriot Auto. Fast. Professional. And easy on the wallet. They get you right in and theyre fast! Keep you up to date on the progress and respect you on a diffrent level. They worked on my 2013 Ram first and replaced wheel speed sensors and those stinkers gave us a run. I was back in there 2 times after they were originally replaced and Jason and his guys replaced what we thought was a faulty part, then finally found the corrosion that was the culprit. They didnt charge me each time I went in. This is a good honest place. I highly reccomend Patriot Auto. Wont go anywhere else!

I tried to replace my fuel filter but it was so rusted the bolts wouldn’t budge. After wrenching on it it started to leak. I called Patriot auto first thing in the morning. I told them I had to take the day off work and I really need it done today. They said they were fully booked for the day but bring it up there and they will make sure it’s done that day. They called me with a couple updates on how things were goin and got it done for a very reasonable price. They also did very good work on my wife’s traverse. Thanks again guys! It is so hard to find an honest, trustworthy, and inviting place to take your car to, especially as a woman. But this place is the best ! I had my engine blow up on me, and thought it was the end, but they took such good care of me and my car. Then, I had a starter go on me and I took it right back to them and again I was in shock over how helpful and fast they got my car running again. And without taking me to the cleaners! They made a scary stressful situation turn around to being just another thing on my To Do List without the fear of being taken advantage of. Not to mention, the woman who runs the office is an absolute sweetheart. Pulled up to the shop and opened the door and WOW. Best looking and inviting auto repair shop I have ever seen. Sat and talked with the owner for a half an hour about what they do and how they take care of their customers. Videos of what is found on their car? What an awesome idea. Very trustworthy people. Veteran owned and operated and the kicker is most if not all of the employees are vets as well. Personally if I lived on the east side this would be my shop of choice. Comment: Very affordable and extremely thorough work! I recommend this place to anyone who needs work on cars. This is a shop that you can actually trust and feel good about the work that is being done. Jason was able to completely rebuild my engine and updated me with the progress on a daily basis. During the rebuild process I asked him to add a few performance items and he was excited to do it where most shops would have said no!

Comment: My 5.7L hemi broke the timing chain and was basically trashed. Finding Jason was awesome as I had no idea who could repair/replace my engine at an affordable rate until I found his ad. I recieved very friendly service and my truck was done on time as promised. I especially appreciated the text a few days later following up on the work he did. I will definitly be back to see Jason for any other mechanical needs that arise in the future.

Comment: My experience with Patriot Auto Care has been outstanding. I blew my Hemi engine. After taking it to several mechanics with no real answers, Jason showed me exactly what was wrong with it. He and his crew pulled the engine, rebuilt it, and reinstalled the engine in just over a week even though it was Thanksgiving weekend. The shop was clean, his price was great and the staff were very professional. After the new engine was installed I replaced my heater core. Jason hooked it up for me for free and made sure there were no problems. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are a satisfied customer and you can trust him. I am recommending Patriot Auto Care to everyone in the area.

Comment: Jason is an excellent and well qualified mechanic. He proves that he knows what hes doing. Ive had work done on my jeep a few different times and his knowledge and experience impresses me each time. When my motor was giving me trouble he took one look at it and knew the exact problem and how to fix it. Jason shows that he cares about the service he provides and treats each vehicle like its his own. Not to mention, his prices are unbeatable. You wont find better quality or a better deal.
