Comment: My car made a strange noise one morning when I backed out of my garage. I called Palmer Auto Service to schedule an appointment, and they offered to pick up the car at my home. After the car was picked up, they performed a multi-point inspection and sent me a copy of the results of the inspection with photos, followed by a phone call to discuss the diagnosis. My car was repaired and tested by the following afternoon, and delivered to me at home. The service team at Palmer Auto Service are AMAZING! Stress-free and convenient service. I could not be happier. Thank you!

They took my car right back and checked it out. He even took me into the shop to show me what he was seeing under my car. I often feel like mechanics assume I dont know anything and dismiss me. They replaced the brakes on my Honda CRV (good price and fast work), more recently they fixed a stuck hood release cable on my old Chevy Trailblazer. I thought the cable had snapped, but it was just stuck and they were able to work it loose and charged me next to nothing for it. They could have replaced it and charged me a mint and I would have been none the wiser - that kind of honesty is worth its weight in gold! I think Palmer might be my new go-to shop.

An example of which was when I had an exhaust issue and they ordered several OEM parts which bolt holes did not align right. Yes they could hand put it on but that would have caused stress and eventually broke. After several attempts with different vendors, then reached out and had one built for me at no additional cost.

Comment: Thank you for standing behind your work. I had a bad clunking in the front suspension so I brought my 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid to Palmer Service to have it looked at and diagnosed. They told me that it was a broken front spring/strut combination and because they had replaced both of them previously in 2019, that the cost of the replacement part was free and all I had to pay for was the labor. I thought that this was fair, honest and equitable. Anywhere else I would have had to pay for the entire repair myself. Im happy that they stand behind their work and treat their customers fairly.

We were trying to save some money so this helped us pick and choose a couple fixes we could wait on.The front suspension was all messed up and they fixed that. Comment: Had an issue with my manual transmissssio,it stop shifting into any gear.Wound up being an internal crack on the transmission housing itself.It was diagnosed very quickly what the issue was and repaired.If its an isssue I cant repair myself it goes to Palmer auto service .Ive been a customer of theres for quite a few years now.Wont hesitate to take it there if need be.It sure helps me and my wife when we have an issue on one of our vehicles when its not under warranty anymore.Palmer auto service goes out of there way to work with you, especially when they will also drop your car back of at your home when needed because of time constraints.Thank you for all that you have done for us over the years. Comment: This is a review of my last two services, oil change, must-point inspections, transmission flush and emissions check engine issue. All was taken care of very well, and Palmer went above and beyond with the second service in helping to get my car back to me due to not having a method to get to Chelsea. It looks like they even gave the car a wash as it came back to me cleaner than when I left it there.My vehicle is running very well, and I will likely now keep it for an addition 5-7 years as long as it runs well.Thank you.

Comment: Palmer Auto Service is all about integrity. They’re honesty is superior. They told me they tested my battery and it had failed. I authorized replacing the old battery. Before they installed the new battery they rechecked my old battery and it passed. They could have just put the new battery in and not said a word. Instead they informed me that I did not need a new battery. That is true customer service.

Theyve driven to my house for a jump when the car was dead and I had no one around to help. Comment: I had some serious work done on my truck engine, and these guys did an excellent job. For example, I had an oil leak on my F150 truck engine. So, even without my committing to a repair, they drove it out multiple times and put dye in oil to diagnose problem.I also brought several Toyotas to them for work. They did the work very cost effectively - I estimate for half as much as other shops. And the quality of the work is better. Its a no brainer.
