Comment: It’s always a very eerie feeling when you go to a mechanic for the first time. So many people are dishonest when it comes to the cost of parts and the labor it actually takes to fix issues. But from the moment I walked into the moment, I got my vehicle back, Northuis Auto Care was hands down the best first time experience I’ve ever had. Their staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They were right on time with the estimates that they gave and if they weren’t they communicated it. The most impressive part was How thorough they were about my vehicles inspection, which was complementary. They send videos, pictures, a graph, and make it super simple for you to understand exactly what they see. They did the opposite of everything you hear in the horror stories about repair shops. I will not hesitate to send everyone I know here. Thank you again! A new loyal customer….who hopefully won’t need to see you guys often though I really like ya lol.

They do an inspection of your vehicle whenever you bring it in and send you a copy of the detailed report! The reports are so helpful and easy to read, especially for someone like me who has no knowledge of vehicles. They take the time to explain things I don’t understand and never try to sell me things my car doesn’t actually need. Overall they’re just great honest people and I couldn’t be happier that I found Northuis Auto!

Not only did they work with my warranty company to complete the repair seamlessly, they worked with me to allow me to take my truck after diagnostics were completed to still go on our family vacation (it was only the A/C). They also provided me with a thorough inspection on the vehicle at no charge, along with cost estimates to have the work completed! Another shop told me that the repair that was needed would take a week at least, Northuis team had it done in 2 days 🤯! I would definitely recommend their services to any and all that need auto repair done quickly and efficiently!

Comment: Full radiator replacement with very courteous and professional service. I traveled from St. Louis and was in town for 4 days of meetings. My car indicated a serious overheating warning. I called numerous local repair places, but none had time for diagnosis or repair in the 4 day window -- except Northuis. They found time for a diagnosis (hole in the radiatior), provided a quote for obtaining the needed parts including overnight shipping of a radiator, worked with my warranty to confirm it was a covered repair, and finished the full radiator replacement in time for me to head back to St. Louis. I have had no further problem with the coolant system.

I wanted to leave my last repair shop because the mechanic will talk down to me when I asked things about my car but didn’t know where to go. Then I found Northuis Auto Repair for my boyfriend when his car broke down on a government holiday and everyone else was either busy or shut down and I’m so thankful we stumbled across them. In less than 24 hours he had a diagnosis and in 48 hours he had his car back. I recently took my car there myself and they were great! They have some amazing features other than what I already listed. Such as loaner cars that you can borrow while they work on your car! Something that could come in handy for anyone who can’t go without a car. Plus my favorite thing; they inspect the whole car and send you a color coded report. Showing you everything your vehicle needs. From what urgently needs attention to what will need work coming up, so you can prioritize what you get fixed. The place is amazing and if you need a new auto repair shop check them out! You won’t regret it :)

What needs looked at next. if it is urgent or service soon.I usually maintain my car so have no urgent. I have less service soon each time i visit and they go over all the service soon and I can decide when I want to do them based on price and level of safety. I really like that.That lets me plan ahead and budget maintenance costs.

Comment: I am very picky about where I take my car for service. My dad was a mechanic, he taught me well, but there are things I just cannot do on my own. As a woman, a lot of auto repair places try to take me for a ride, assuming I don’t know anything about cars. My car was doing just the oddest thing. I couldn’t figure it out, and it wouldn’t stay running long enough to get it to the shop I normally use. That shop recommended Northuis Auto, as they are much closer to me. 10/10 will take my car there again if I have a problem I can’t fix on my own! They were knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and very timely getting my car fixed. I am more than happy with the work they did!!! I have, and will continue to, recommend them to friends and family!!!

Comment: The professionalism from this company is on point. We had our our full size SUV towed in for a siezed breaking system. They were very honest with our issues and fixed the problem promptly. We also brought up some other issues we thought were going on. After looking over our truck they gave us their recommendations and told us to stop by any time we thought something was amidst. With that being said a NEW issue arrived 1 week later. I brought it back and they over looked it again. With my luck my truck didnt do my issue. 2 weeks later it started again. I brought it back and they went over and beyond to put my crazy mind at ease and FOUND the problem. This company will do what it takes to diagnose and fix any problems in order to keep your vehicle running and safe. This was our first and second time using them, they now have our full business as our mechanic.

But they do their best to stay on top of the technology and service changes in as many vehicles as they can. they work together as a team and corroborate on the facts. I have had my vehicle worked on there and it experience nothing but honesty and premium parts. They are busy and you have to make an appointment but its worth it, I love these guys!
