Comment: My car was sputtering on acceleration. My thoughts were that I had an emissions system problem. I took my car in to be looked at when they opened, but they were behind from the previous day. The gentleman behind the counter took my number down and said he would call me when they have a opening...3 hrs. later I got a call to bring my car in. Upon arrival, they got me in quickly to look at the situation and found it wasnt a emissions problem, it was the ignition coil. 45 min later I was on my way with the problem being fixed. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting good service. Thanks guys!!!

When the quote was mentioned they honored the quote thank goodness. So does this mean they charge people double? If the quote wouldnt have been given to me they would have gotten $100 more. What kind of bad habits are they trying to support by jacking up prices so high one day & not another! They are making good bank at this shop apparently. Im grateful they honored their quote but how many others are paying much more. They did good job I give them that but the price thing is not ok.

Comment: I took my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for O2 sensor work, unfortunately all four sensors were locked permanently in place so they did not charge me for assessing the damage. Its great to see a national chain acting like an independent repair facility. Although Im not ready to pull the trigger on that $1,200 repair, I did go back and get a new muffler and tailpipe. I will definitely come back and spend money to get that O2 sensor and exhaust repair completed at a later date.

He stated that they would assess my vehicle and possibly not be able to service me until Monday or Tuesday because of a parts shortage. He called me back a few hours later to let me know that my vehicle was repaired and the squeaky brakes were no more. I had some rusted hardware and some missing brake clips. I was pleasant surprised when he stated that the cost was $20 and the had cleaned the hardware and greased the parts up. He was honest and fair. I could have walked away possibly getting work done that wasnt needed. I will be back as customer if my vehicle needs work.

Had the car looked at a while back by a Toyota dealership who had pushed for a relatively big fix to my front axle. Took it to this place, and the people were extremely honest and put in the effort to explain why the change wasnt needed. They were incredibly honest and were clearly trying to help people in every way they can. The mechanic, Keith, did an awesome job, too. The price was also extremely reasonable, and walked out only paying $52 for everything mentioned previously, including the necessary parts (including a $21 air filter). [The labor fee was just $16.] Cant recommend this place enough! Will definitely be recommending them to others, and hope everything goes great for them moving forward.

So whichever one can get me in sooner is the one Ill go with. Fortunately I havent had to use either of them for a few months now. Car repairs are never fun. Its not $$ you enjoy spending. These two places at least do quality work so youre not having to go back all the time for the same thing.

Super easy to work with and topped off fluids I didnt even know were low.Employees went out of their way to explain the problem and gave a realistic resolution for the issue. Great work, reasonable price, great turnaround time.

Comment: It is never a pleasurable experience taking a car to the mechanics, not as bad as going to the dentist. But out of the mechanics I have dealt with these guys (Al and Todd) are the most knowledgeable and fair thus far. I have never had a bad experience with my vehicle after they have worked on it. They are honest and will let you know what repairs are needed ASAP and what ones can wait. Thank you for the reliable service!

Comment: Ive been going to MMGB for about 12 years since I was a senior in high school and their level of service is beyond reproach. My wife and I dropped our car off for servicing on Saturday while passing through and needed our car back the same day to head north before Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately their were phone issues between the parties and we couldnt get into contact with MM before 6p as they closed. We were stranded in GB for an evening without our car and belongings in it. I did some research and found the owners number here on google reviews to tell him of the situation and he dropped everything to assist. We found out MM tried calling my wifes number but a dial tone was never live. He met up with us and released our car on a Sunday. His find a way mentality is why we drive an hour from our home in the metro Detroit area to give his establishment our business. He even provided a discount when it wasnt even his companys fault. He was extremely contrite even when he didnt have to be. The technical issues made the day hard for my family and I but his patience and cooperation was greatly appreciated. It was ironic to come into work on Labor Day weekend. I feel bad for getting the owner involved but it was a highly sensitive emergency for us and the behavior he displayed is why I will continue to come back. Randy, Brandon and Jeremy are consummate professionals and thats why we will continue to be loyal customers for the next 10+ years!

Comment: These guys are legitimate. On several occasions they have come in below what I figured the estimate was. On one occasion they did not charge me for taking a look at my vehicle, because they said there was nothing wrong with it. If you want a fair priced, honest place with good work in Genessee County, this is the place. I would recommend them to just about anyone.

Comment: Went to Muffler Man last week to get my exhaust fixed. I thought it was the manifold gasket or the donut gasket. Both pretty difficult jobs on a Jeep with a V-8 but Al figured out it was a much easier and cheaper fix. Very honest and trustworthy group of people. I really appreciate it. Comment: Took my car in, they were able to figure out a solution that cost 1/10th of what it might have. I hope its a while before I need to go in again, but at least I know its a fair place. They also fixed my brakes without needing to replace anything, and did it with minimum labor costs!

Comment: I recently visited Muffler Man in Grand Blanc, I told them a budget and they kept to it! Had my wifes exhaust done on May 12th due to muffler falling off. It is an lifted up ranger with some nice mud tires, pretty aggressive looking truck (even for a ranger). None the less they put an nice performance exhaust on it, which i really liked and met my needs. My wife on the other hand had some issues with the little louder exhaust. So I took it back about a month later and they put a new one on NO QUESTIONS ASKED. This place offers GREAT service and does an AWESOME job! Was helped by James and Jeremy, thank you guys for help and work!Thank you Muffler Man!
