It took me to a dealership on the wrong side of haggerty, a heads up to anyone looking for this place. Anyway, amazing job. The dealership tried to tell me the computer issue was not worth even looking into, would not be cost effective and more or less told me to live with the issue. Then quoted me for 4,000 on other work needed. Gary not only found my problem and completely fixed it, but he was affordable. He also took care of my brakes which were in desperate need of replacing. I still have a handful of repairs that need done a little less urgently, but I will be returning. Comment: My exhaust system started making noise late Wednesday night. So this morning, I called the Ford dealer first and they told me that they could not take me until early next week. I called Mr. Muffler & Brakes and spoke with Gary. He said he could take a look at my car today when I got to the shop. Gary was very professional and personable (on the phone and in person). He provided me with exact directions to auto shop. When I arrived, Gary came out to greet me and pulled my car into one of the bays within 5 minutes of my arrival. He explained the issue within 10 minutes and then provided me with the options to address the issue. I made my choice and filled out the necessary paperwork. Gary informed me that my vehicle would be ready within an hour. My vehicle was ready within the hour and the invoice matched what I was quoted without any hidden extra fees. Comment: Cameron, Gary, and the team at Mr. Muffler on Grand River just west of 10 mile has helped me keep my cars on the road for a long time. They really took care of me when I decided to keep an aging 2007 Mariner for my daughter to drive to school. Most recently they took care of the brakes and rotors on my wifes Milan and we were really happy with the service. Highly recommended!

Comment: Very friendly and honest service. The owner goes out of his way to explain repairs to you. I was able to get in quickly and had less than an hour wait time. This is amazing especially on a Saturday afternoon. I have found my family mechanic and I couldnt be happier.

Comment: The guys here were prompt and efficient and even made a custom power steering hose for my vehicle as they were unable to find one in stock to get me back on the road the same day. They also repaired my vibrating motor mount. The price I paid was fair for the services provided. Would recommend this establishment.

Comment: Found them based on the high referral from a friend of mine and good feedback. Called a lot of places around town and they were the ones with the best experience and prices. Had extensive work done on the brakes and suspension word and starter solenoid and filter part replaced. They said they would order the parts right away and get it done as soon as possible. Two hours later it was all done. They even waited 2 hours after close for me, so I could pick it up. Great team!

Comment: I had a GREAT experience with Mr. Muffler & Brakes! This was my second visit. About 18 months ago, my daughters car had a rear caliper that was stuck. It was replaced on the same day I took it in and there have been zero issues with it since. The service was quick, friendly, and professional without having to wait and make an appointment like some other local shops.This week my 15 year old Jeep Wrangler blew a brake line and the pedal went to the floor. I called and was told to bring it in. I got there about 5PM, they said they would look at it first thing in the morning. The next morning, I got a call confirming what they had found, the estimated cost, and when it would be ready (1 PM). They called at 1PM to confirm it was fixed at the estimated cost and ready for pick-up. These guys didnt try to sell me anything extra, they fixed what was needed and thats all folks!Its nice to see that good competent shops still exist and know how to treat customers! I cant say enough about how efficient this shop is. I wont hesitate to bring my next repair job to them and will recommend them to my friends and family as well.

Comment: My BMW needed catalytic converters and the dealer wanted $1350 per converter. That price seemed way out of my price range. After calling many other places and being disappointed with the prices, I called Mr. Muffler. They were very nice on the phone and gave me a reasonable price. I went in and I liked the manager who was taking care of me. I was expecting it to be an overnight thing but it ended up taking only three hours! Super impressed. Would definitely recommend you to try this place out.

Comment: Really bad day that ended great! On the way to work my exhaust system failed 40 miles from home. Not being able to return to my normal service center I did a google search and found Mr.Muffler (Farmington) that had great reviews (right?). Called up 3:00 in the afternoon thinking Im out of luck, spoke with Gary and he said bring it in! Couldnt believe it. Brought it in, they found the parts for a difficult to repair Acura RSX and I was out an hour later. Incredible service, great prices and even better people. Will definitely return, you should also.

Comment: I chose to go Mr. Muffler & Brakes because of their close location and high reviews, and I was completely satisfied with my experience. Gary was very knowledgeable, attentive, and listened to my concerns. They got everything done quickly, and labor was charged at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be bringing my car here in the future for anything from an oil change to a new transmission. Overall, a great experience through a frustrating ordeal!

Comment: I took my 2003 Chevy Cavalier to Mr Muffler and Brakes for engine light. I was approached by the service manager and he immediately performed vehicle diagnostics. He was able to confirm a leak in the emission system and repair performed successfully. The repair was performed successfully 6 months ago and to-date I have not seen the issue come back. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend others and every one i know.
