Comment: Stopped in for an engine light issue a while back. I was just in the area as I live over an hour away. The owner was nice enough to squeeze me in when he found out I wasn’t from the area and needed to get back on the road. He was also very pleasant and came across as an honest upstanding mechanic. He let me know what he thought the problem was and that there was also an apparent problem that may have corrected itself while the mechanic was doing his thing per se. he said he wouldn’t feel right charging me for a new part if the problem fixed in its own and I didn’t necessarily need a new one, but to bring it back if it started acting up again. He also called to check up on me about a week later which I found to be quite profound for a mechanic shop. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone in need of service.

One time, I went to the dealership, and after careful analysis, they gave me a long list of things that need to be done with my car. Added all up, the total cost was literally almost $3000. Yeah, you read that right. I took the list to Mr. Mechanic, and I had those things done there. Guess how much I paid. Only almost $800! So yes, prices are very relatively reasonable here. And they get things done on time, and theyll be honest with you and tell you if theyre unable to fix something.Also, theyre open on Saturday, which is another plus.

Comment: I have a 2010 Chev Traverse with under 50,000 miles on it dec 28, 2022 my engine light came on. I freaked, parked it, then got a read at an Autozone with their fix finder which gave me diagnostic trouble code and the attendant couldn’t tell me what it meant. Called a Chev dealer they weren’t available until after the 9th next year. I couldn’t wait that long then I remember I used Mr Mechanic on Telegraph before let me call them called and Talked to Tony who said bring it in. I asked if there would be a wait he said no. Tony took my car in right after my arrival showed him the fix finder report he said they’d do their own diagnostic check and made sure I was comfortable in the front lobby, was cold so he brought out a heater. Tony kept checking with the mechanic in the back and kept me updated. And explained what was going on and what was my choices. When leaving said if there’s any problem to come back and they’d take care of it.I would highly recommend this auto shop! Mr. mechanics, TONY was very professional, trustworthy, fair and clear and they had great prices. I will definitely come back!

The tow service showed up within 30 minutes of us calling, was a great guy to deal with. Get to the shop and they were also amazing. Took them a short amount of time to call us to tell us what was wrong, the drive shaft had broken, had to order the parts and it wasnt even 24 hours until they had the car done. Great company, we live 25 minutes away and would come back in heartbeat!!!

On Friday I went to my usual oil change spot and they said they couldnt fix it. They just didnt want to. I called Mr. Mechanic and they accommodated checking it for me and they would repair it if they could. Well the dumb track was broken and needed replacing. They fixed it for me and I am so grateful. I only knocked off a star because it was so expensive in my opinion. This happened in another car and I paid half at a tire chain of what Mr. Mechanic charged and that was a newer vehicle at the time. But they are nice and even checked on the car a couple weeks later. That is enough to have me consider them again with future issues.

This was my first time bringing my car here, although my partner has been there several times and recommended the place when I had to wait over 2 weeks to bring in my car to the dealership.I had a coolant leak and they were able to let me bring in my car to an inspection the same day I called. They kept me updated once they found the leak and answered all my questions over the phone including their estimated price and timeline as well as their recommended next steps. I saw Mr. Mechanic shop near where the vehicle was broke down and decided to give them a call. I spoke to who I assumed at the time to be the manager and ask him a few questions and he told me to bring it in and offered towing for the vehicle if needed. Ive taken my truck and car here for sevice for 7 years and twice, there was just a fluke or nothing actually wrong. He didnt even charge me for the diagnosis. Comment: While driving a couple days back, heard a huge clunk, then my steering felt extremely loose. I get out the truck and see that my stabilizer link had broken completely off the sway bar.The next day, called Mr. Mechanic, and the owner was quite friendly on the phone. I took my truck in, decided to get both front stabilizer links replaced and got my serpentine belt replaced as well.Not only was the truck fixed quickly, but was thoroughly inspected, and a job well done on the front suspension!Truck rides perfectly now. I will even come back to this place to have some aftermarket parts installed I just ordered.A++++ Experiece, Tony is awesome, and will have you on the road, safely in no time. Also, random tid-bit, I love that the owner is a huge Formula 1 racing fan. For those who dont know, its the most mechanically demanding sport in the world! As good as Tony and his guys are, I could see them working on multi-million dollar F1 race cars, and making even the best drivers in the world happy :)

Comment: From the moment I walked in the door at Mr. Mechanic, I was happily greeted! Not often are good first impressions personified in business nowadays and wow, what a great experience I received and they hadnt even fixed my vehicle yet. When I stepped in the door, I felt comfortable. After being quoted astronomical amounts of money just to look at my issues at a dealer down the street, the folks here at Mr. Mechanic were able to identify my concerns without charge, and offer a quote to remedy the issues. After paying for the same issue twice at a different auto mechanic, the gentleman at Mr. Mechanic went further into making sure there wasnt a short in the wiring of my headlight. Even the customer, who was in the shop, vouched on how great this place is. It just feels good to know there is a place for all of my automobile concerns! Thanks Mr. Mechanic!

Comment: I took my car in for brake service. Tony not only fixed my brakes he also called to check on me about a week later. The brakes were put to the test on one of the days that it had actually snowed. I was very please with the service.

Comment: I have been going to Tony Mr mechanic for the past 7 months and he has fixed every issue I have had with my impala. As you know Chevy isnt the best but I trust Tony and his crew to take care of it without having to pay an arm and leg. Theyre always fair on prices, quick on turn arounds and the do the job right the first time. I originally went to a local dealer for a repair after moving to the area, but after their crazy prices and long service time, I decided to try out Mr. Mechanic -- and Ive been going there ever since! Many drop offs for diagnostic and repairs on my 2 vehicles. Tony is always friendly, prompt in his communication, quotes fairly and openly, and gets the job done fast! He wants you to be informed so that you can make the decision yourself on what you want to do as opposed to trying to push a service that might not really be needed. You honestly cant ask for more. From the beginning to the end of any repair Tony and his crew does, I know that.They did the repairs on two of my cars over the past six years. He also repaired my best friends two cars over the last fifteen years. No matter the day the time, or the seriousness of the request, Tony ad his crew fielded all our concerns.Toney allows that my best friend and I consult with him when we have a question even though we have moved to Fort Wayne, IN. Comment: I just moved to the Southfield, Michigan area and was referred to Mr. Mechanic by the only person I know who has been a resident here for some time. I called the day before my car was serviced and my phone call was answered even though the establishment had already been closed. That was the first good sign being that I was frantic at the time. I brought my vehicle the next morning and had my car repaired by noon. Car is now running wonderfully. So thankful for the quick, friendly, and competent service!! Comment: My wife and I have been using Mr. Mechanic for our personal and business vehicles for 12 years. Heres why:1. Labor rates are reasonable and fairly counted.2. Tony, the owner, and the 3 mechanics have been around for many years at this location. There is no revolving door of mechanics here, which is a telltale sign that this workplace has a good work/life balance for its people.3. Youll get an honest answer from them. This is important because, like a dentist, you are there to fix something that is broken and you already know its going to cost you some money. Tony will work with you on options.4. Their business philosophy has a vision and a long-term approach. They clearly want you to come back and thats the respect you will get.5. In the summer Tony has a few pots of cherry tomatoes out front and hell let you snack on them.

Comment: They made good repair work on all my cars. the Volare i intend to keep running in good shape for a longer time, they fixed the wiring problem at reasonable price ( which i screwed up the wiring earlier ) and good fix for blower, and belts for fans, alternator. and good repair at the starting problem at the Lincoln Mark VIII ( which a lot of shops refused to repair Lincoln Mark VIII )
