Also, the waiting room and work area was very clean. And as a bonus the waiting room had lots and lots of complimentary snacks and they even left a token of appreciation in my car. I do have more work to be done so I am glad I have found a reputable repair shop to go to. November 2023-As suggested on this service visit I had the oil filter stand and rear coil springs replaced. Comment: I own a 2007 328i. I’m a car enthusiast and I like to work on my own vehicles. I bought this car as a project car. The car had a few issues and one issue in particular was a misfire. I purchased items from ECS and FCP to rehab the car and to get it back on the road. After I installed the parts that I purchased the misfire was still present. I couldn’t understand why. 2 years ago I went into this location and ask if they could inspect the vehicle and to give their assessment. 2 weeks ago I finally dropped off the vehicle. I know everything about the car. The inspection of the issues and the information disclosed were spot on. Another issue was with the drive belt and tensioner which I knew. I could have r&r this myself but I was impressed with shop so I ask them to repair it for me just to build a relationship which is important in business. Time is money. I still have a few more items that need to be repaired. I will definitely return once I’m done with the upgrades.Customer satisfied.

Comment: Above and Beyond I went for a transmission service and they checked I also has a water leak from water pump and thermostat housing. The job was around $1500 but they told me to check with the dealer because it could have a recall on the Parr. I called the dealer and the representative said no no recall so the called for me because they new the dealer was wrong. Im my experience with car shops I have never have had a shop try to save me money. They could of easily charged me the money but their HONESTY IS UNMATCHED. I WISH THERE WERE 10 STARS ON THE RATINGS SO I CAN GIVE IT TO THEM.

Comment: Excellent for someone needing a first-major-repair. I have a 15 Passat TDI and I havent needed to have any major work done. My car was diagnosed by another shop as needing a new turbo and seals, $3.5k they wanted. Motor City Euro Repair charged me a reasonable diagnosis fee, told me they found a loose clamp, and fixed it for no additional charge. They were open to answering my questions and I didnt feel rushed at all. Phenomenal bedside manner.Some other things to note:- Most courteous part: They took out my front two floor mats and cleaned them!!! I was very impressed. Never had a shop do this before!- Shop was really clean, no dust or debris on the floor, clean counter, clean uniforms, new chairs, funny posters on the wall- Complimentary snacks - Michigan/Detroit local brands like Better Made and Faygo- Followed-up with a text message to see if I was satisfied with my service- They ask if you are going to keep or sell your car, then give you custom suggestions based on your cars trajectory.Would give 10 stars if I could. Honest place that puts in the effort and doesnt take your customer-ship for granted.

They provide the estimate (both price and time), recommend repairs , do not press on doing something by scaring you, against your wish. In my case, they suggested what can wait and what should take priority based on budget +safety. The identification of problem and recommendation was spot on. Comment: Went in for oil leak....Ended up with new head gaskets, were replaced 15,000 mile ago and igniion wires, replaced 15000 miles ago and a oil sensor....Cost approx. $2400...Next day, another leak, water pump, $1000....Question....Was orginal problem the water pump and why was it not detected on the first visit....They do good work but cost seems to be a bit high...

Comment: Cost is always a factor when taking your vehicle to a shop for repairs. But what is equally important is quality of service. You can buy an expensive steak but if its burnt to a crisp by the cook, its just a burnt expensive steak that noone is going to eat. Mike the LeBron James of repairing bimmers went out of his way to ensure my car was safe to drive. He could have did what I ask and sent me on my way but he didnt. He saw other issues that threaten the safety of the driver and passengers. I appreciated that. Unfortunately, I could not afford the cost of the repairs at this time, so my car will have to sit to a while. But I will return when my resources improve. Ive been going to these guys for many years. A lot of the staff has changed but the attitude of the present staff still strives to satisfy the customers.Thanks.

Im an automotive engineer, and yet Im generally nervous servicing my BMW 328i XDrive due to the costs that can occur with it. However, Motor City Euro Repair was transparent and affordable with the work that was to be done. A few issues with my AC blower making noise, they debugged and fixed in no time and didnt charge me (Im sure it would have been charged an arm and a leg at the dealership if they would have done the investigation for that issue). I found Motor City Euro Repair by calling a few shops for budgetary pricing after a local popular all makes shop gave me an outrageous quote on a simple wheel bearing replacement for an Audi Q5. Blanard (owner) answered the phone personally, was very accommodating and provided an estimate that was instantly half the price of the other shops quote. He was very transparent, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The entire repair process could not have gone more smoothly: dropped my car off in the morning, received a diagnostic report and estimate that same day and had a repaired car the very next morning. Oh, did I mention there is both loaner car and shuttle service?! I was sick of being overcharged during my Schedule A & B services and figured that Id branch out and look for a local maintenance repair shop for my vehicle. Luckily I selected this place which actually turned out to be an awesome option. Specifically, I went in to get a wheel alignment and 2 tires put on. They actually did a complimentary full inspection on my Mercedes C300 and took pics and everything. They informed me that I didnt even need a wheel alignment. I was shocked. Mainly because a great deal of maintenance shops would have just told me they did it and taken my money, knowing they did nothing. Spark plugs were needed though, which I allowed them to go ahead and do. I was just so happy that they even did a full inspection because I didnt even ask for it. However, I was overdue for one, since I had only gotten an oil change at some local oil change place about a month earlier and that was it. I was tired of going to the Dealership and finding out that I have to pay between $1000-$2000 to fix things that they claimed were wrong so I tried to avoid even going. Now I dont need to go to them since I found this place! I am so pleased! Additionally, I spoke with them on how they do the regular maintenance and was told that they dont just charge you a flat rate like the dealership does their Schedule A & B services. They only charge you for what is wrong and needs to be fixed, such as my spark plugs on that visit. Blanard was such a great help and even recommended ways to help me keep my car intact and a body shop to assist with a scratch on my car. Thank you so much AAS!!!

We found another shady guy in DH to repair his BMW, wasnt feeling good about that person with about 50 cars waiting to be repaired! I Googled and called Advanced Auto! Blanard answered phone sounded confident about our issues! We went and the autoshop was clean! Blanard went to car with my 16 year old Son and came back with his theory! I asked a question! He went out again and checked then drove car into shop, went out there with me and told me so much stuff! We bought a very bad vehicle! But Blanard gave me best and worse case scenarios!, informed me that we should have and estimate of everything before close or no later that next day! We got it later that day! Comment: I really had a great experience with advanced auto sports. I recently took my vehicle as it needed front and rear brake discs and pads. Initially, the front desk manager, Tony (who btw is a great helper) told me they had to do an inspection for a nominal fee to determine what needed to be serviced/replaced. I was skeptical at the beginning as I thought these guys will add more services that will cost me more $$, but I agreed to this plan and left my car at the shop. Soon after I got a call from Tony with inspection findings which only needed front brakes with the rear brakes still in good shape - rest of inspections also showed no issues. At my request, they went ahead and replaced the rear brakes too. The charges were very reasonable too.Summary, based on my experience, these guys are professional and treat you with respect - no gimmicks. Also, rest your mind in peace when they say an inspection needs to be completed prior to giving you a quote for the work- this is legitimate and they will remove this inspection cost if you decide to complete the actual work.

Pricing seems reasonable.For the typical person that does not really care for his / her vehicle, the pictures give you a well-informed decision aside from the assessments and recommendations because it gives you an actual view of what is wrong.The shop does not specialize in aftermarket changes and would prefer to work with stock OEM. Inquire first before disregarding, they might be able to fix depending on the aftermarket changes.The only reason I couldnt give this place a fifth star is because I did not have any work done on my vehicle, so many problems have revealed itself that I should consider just getting a new car.Nevertheless, I would recommend this place.

When I initially contacted Advanced Auto Sports and explained the issues with my vehicle they gaurenteed they would be able to beat the dealers estimate for repair. They stay true to their word. They provide a warranty on all of their work so there is no need to worry about the job getting done correctly the first time.They also completed a complimentary vehicle inspection and provided a detailed report of the vehicles condition along with photographs. The vehicle inspection report was delivered electronically through text or email and is convenient and easy to understand. Comment: I had my car serviced at Advanced Auto Sports today. The owner was very friendly, yet professional. He provided me with a lot of applicative and interesting information about the anatomy of cars, and about the preventive measures that car owners should take to have a hassle-free driving experience. I was also pleased with the cost of service and parts. My car has been driving a lot smoother and with a vastly improved throttle response, ever since.

Comment: I was extremely impressed with the service I recently received from Advanced Auto Sports. I dont know much about cars so it can make me a bit nervous to have repairs done. But the team at Advanced Auto Sports put me at ease. They were fair and honest in the estimating process and even found a less expensive way to fix my side view mirror so it looks great and saved me over $300. Advanced Auto Sports also did a great job of communicating about the status of my vehicle, asking me what I preferred to have done when there were multiple options, and finishing the work on time. If youre looking for a place that treats you well and does great work, I highly recommend Advanced Auto Sports.

Comment: These guys are great! I have been taking my BMW there since I bought it over four years ago. They are all very intelligent and well versed when it comes to diagnosing and explaining any issues that my car is having. The work they do is very thorough and reliable. I have never had to bring my car back for any faulty work. Their pricing is very competitive and always lower than what the dealership quotes. I would recommend them to anyone!

Comment: Alan and the team at Advanced Auto Sports will not let you down. They do an amazing job, very thorough, always explain any necessary details, very good pricing and very honest!! They never do any unnecessary work either. In fact I had an issue with a rear seatbelt and the dealer said it had to be replaced for a fee of $800. The guys at AAS checked it thoroughly, made some minor tweaks and said there was no need to replace it. Saved us $800! They work very hard to get you in when its convenient for you and when you need to wait for parts, they continue to follow up with you until it comes in. We have and will continue to refer our family and friends to them. They are super easy to work with. Excellent customer service!

Comment: When my engine blew up in my Aston Martin, the deal wanted a fortune to repair it. I needed help! A friend of mine recommended Sam and the rest of the Advanced team. The took the very difficult task of rebuilding my engine piece by piece. I cannot express how pleased I was with the level of service and more importantly the level of care I received.
