Mohamed Saad at MoTech came highly recommended, and I figured I would give it a shot. He not only was able to find out the dealerships assessment was wrong, but was able to fix my car and have it up and running for $1000. I will use his services from now on. This shop was honest, professional and very experienced.

Comment: Honest shop! I had a noise coming from underneath my vehicle earlier this year, they were honest and said it was just a few bolts that needed tightening. No charge. The noise stopped. A few months later, early spring, I had a separate issue and I returned because of their honesty and they did another honest job. I had a serious major electrical issue with my truck and I had 2 different mechanic shops try to fix it but they made it worse and they couldnt even figure out the problem so I called Motech Automotive and they told me to bring my truck in. Comment: Mo and his team saved my car, and my entire weekend. Long story short: an honest and trustworthy shop. I pulled off the highway driving from Grand Rapids and knew something was very wrong. It was 5 o clock on a Saturday and everyone else was closed- with no Sunday hours open in the morning. Luckily I pulled into MO’s shop and he was willing to at least diagnose the car before they closed. I ended up having a bad wheel bearing. Mo called several auto shops to try and find the right parts for my Subaru- after multiple attempts and calls dropped or on hold he found someone who had the part and could grab it before they closed. Mo drove to the shop himself to grab it and bring it back to Mo-Tech to put on my car. Within the next hour I had my car back and fixed and I didn’t have to miss the family reunion or broadway show I had tickets for!! I feel so lucky to have pulled into his garage and knew right away Mo had a good heart, conscience, and wanted to help. He could have turned me away before they closed and I would have been stranded out of town- but he made it happen and I am very grateful! Thank you, Mo and team!

Comment: I previously went to a different shop (goodyear) and they did this horrible job as seen in picture. Goodyear damage my fuel line connectors and pieced it together. Motech found bare wire and leaking fuel connector that Goodyear should’ve noticed. This could have cause a spark and blown my truck up. I could have died. I’m am very appreciative of the job they did at Motech.

Comment: So i came in with an idea of what was wrong, they gave me a diagnosis and did the electrical work right in front of me! I was able to see with my own eyes what was wrong, watch him fix it, and then gave me a test drive afterwards showing me what they had fixed before i paid! And it was only $250. I checked other places and it would’ve costed more. The two guys who helped me were super professional as well as funny and friendly. I will definitely be coming back whenever needed. I felt like i was genuinely being taken care of here, this will now be my go-to repair shop. Anything i need, i know they will accommodate here. Comment: I brought in a 2009 Honda Accord for a starter replacement. They got the car repaired quickly, and had it back to me the next morning. There was a slight misunderstanding on the cost due to having to remove the intake manifold to replace the starter, but the head tech gave us an additional discount due to the miscommunication. The tech was very respectful, and the price was very fair for the work even without the discount. You deal with some shops who seem to be working from their own home garage rather than a professional business, but these guys are very professional and qualified.

The staff was outstanding and gave me detailed explanations on the parts they were changing out, why, and what it may cause. Even broke down things that had nothing to do with the work I was getting done.The mechanics are top of the line and thats appreciated in this kind of business. Prices are reasonable and you pay for what you get. I enjoyed being there talking with the Owner learning things about the parts that were being replaced. Comment: I bought my 09 mustang from an auction it was beat up I took it to macco to get a few dents pulled they left access damage to my wiring system and rear end i had to push it off they lot mind you I drove it in their lot. From there I took it to Abe one auto paid 250 for them to just wire it wrong me unknowingly drove it home they got it started I was happy next thing I know the car cut off on me in my drive way so I get it to magically start and took it to motech automotive they explained to me what they did what was wrong how it wasn’t wired correctly in such short time I saved a lot of time and headache coming to them they did a pretty good job and in fast manner if not for them I’d probably be somewhere stranded they have an amazing shop with all the tools and resources to have your car running 100%

Comment: I have an 03 Ford F150 and had been to a couple shops even the dealership and nobody could figure out why my truck was losing power under a load. Someone suggested that the catalaytic converters might be plugged so I googled for an exhaust shop in the area and came across MoeTech. I took the truck in expecting them to just do an exhaust back pressure test but they went above and beyond to find the problem. Keep in mind this was a Friday afternoon and they dont usually do diagnostic work on the weekends but they took care of me and found the problem within a couple hours. Turns out a wire for the camshaft sensor circuit was not getting a good connection somewhere. Moe really looked out for me and helped me out on the cost. I am beyond satisfied with their work and customer service. Thanks again!!

Comment: I gladly give Motech Automotive 5 solid stars. I urgently needed a professional to inspect my vehicle as my engine was making a bad sound for a few days. I took to Google to find an engine shop near my place of work. I came upon Motech Automotive who had a great rating and good reviews and I am extremely thankful for the customers before me! With about a half hour left in their workday, they gave me their full attention to listen to my report, test drive my car with me, check under the hood and lifted my vehicle to diagnose the problem. They involved me in the conversation the whole way. They discovered I needed to replace my transmission, so I left my car with them and they provided me with a free ride home. They provided me with different options for the new part and I got my car back a few days later. They were happy to address any questions or concerns I had following the repair. Was told from several other mechanics that my car was in dire need of a new alternator which was an expensive piece of work without labor, instead I took it into Mo-Tech and they offered to keep it over night to run diagnostics to get down to the problem and it turned out that it was just a minor problem in the power steering system which was a huge difference in pay between an alternator fix. Car is running good and strong ever since. 5/5 Stars, highly recommended.

Comment: I had a problem with my car almost stolen from me. Insteadl of stealing it they managed to rip the steering column up. I found MoTech Auto service on the Internet. I called and the person I spoke with was very nice and explain to me how they could help me including tow service. Once there it was repaired in a timely manner. The work they had to do was not easy nor simple the whole column had to be rewired and program. He as well had to sodersome very tiny wire back in order to program the van for it to work. Comment: Just left Motech Automotive. I have to say I am very pleased with my visit. The mechanics are very knowledgeable. Any uncertainty you have, can be answered. Theyre not just trying to get your money. They recommend safety first. I had my brake pads and rotors, spark plug and engine coil, and oil changed replaced for what I consider a very reasonable price. They do the extra, although they dont have to. Thank you from Jared. First time customers get a coupon for a free sub at the local Subway.

Comment: I have a 2008 suburban and lost power and would not go over 5 miles per hour,dealer could not pinpoint problem,i took it to motech ,they found the problem and fixed it in a timely fashion,i would recomend motech to my family and friends.

Comment: Best mechanic ever I highly recommend Moe-Tech automotive to all my friends and family. I have been taking my cars there for over 15 years, Mo-Tech has always been honest, dependable, and fairly priced. I was shocked and almost personally insulted to have read a bad review on Mo-Tech automotive. Never in 15 years have I or anyone I have ever referred (and there have been many) have ever had any complaints, everyone that I have referred to as praised me and thanked me for referring Mo-Tech auto shop.

Comment: I have an 04, NISSAN ALTIMA that needed some electrical work done and I took my vehicle to MOTECH automotive. The work was completed fast and the pricing was reasonable. They did not take advantage of me because Im a woman. I would recommend MOTECH, because they are friendly, knowlegable and they took their time to explain the problem and offered the best solution.

Comment: I have taken two of my cars to Mo-Tech and was satisfied with both visits. This is a great service center, the staff was nice,and everything was well explained. They also have good prices and I didnt feel over charge,actually other shops were higher in price in the area. They had my car done in no time,earlier than I expected. This is the best auto repair shop and recommend Mo-Tech everyone.

Comment: I am so greatful that I found motech on warren, my brake line busted and it was right before closing time they still told me to come on, they were very friendly made me feel so comfortable. Showed me what they were doing, answered all questions. Ive found my vehicle a car Dr. From now on. I will be referring friends and family. The prices are affordable but most of all I really like their personalities and quality work. I thank God I found them.

Comment: Dwight JeffersonAWSOME SHOP!!!!!!!!!!I have a 2004 Lincoln Aviator and the starter went out at work. My car has a after market warranty. Mo-Tech towed my vehicle from where it stopped, which was downtown Detroit to the shop immediately. I waited for the tow truck for just 10 minutes. The shop took care of all administrative work that had to be done with the warranty people and repaired my vehicle in a snap. This is the best automotive repair experience Ive ever had. Mo-tech has made a customer for life. The next week I was there with my other vehicle. Mechanics were as professional and polite as you can get.
