Comment: My Jeeps tire blew off on East 94. I spoke to Christian who was very friendly and willing to assist me once I told him my vehicle needed to be towed to their shop. Once I arrived the team assessed my issue and tried to resolve it quickly. I live 2 hours away and was stranded. The shop needed to order some parts that would not come in until 3 days later. The team went over and beyond to make sure I was back on the road and home safely the same day. The shop closed at 6pm but they stayed over and hour pass closing and made sure my vehicle was fixed. Did I mention I’m 8 months pregnant…. Christian and Ryan even went to another shop with me to make sure I got all the parts I needed to ensure a safe drive home. I appreciate the entire team and recommend this shop to anyone who wants good customer service and a wonderful experience that will make you want to tell everyone how their are still kindhearted individuals in this world. Take it from me, they get the job done and I am forever greatful to them all.

Comment: I can not say enough about this place. This is the second time they have fixed my car and they did amazing work, the guys were awesome and amazing. I was leary because we came from a shop that did terrible work and took advantage of us but they were honest and told us right away what needed to be fixed. They didnt give us one price and 2 days later change it. I also love that huge big window that you can watch them fixing cars. It gives me relief that i can actually see them working in the car instead of being shooed out of the shop. They also call you with a full estimate before they do any work of the findings. I am going back to have them fix my other vehicles breaks. So happy with the work!

Comment: Exceptional service at a competitive price!My mother has been going to Monroe for her general service needs for the last year. After purchasing a used vehicle with poor tires, I contacted many tire shops in the area to find the best pricing. By my mothers recommendation I contacted Mike at Monroe to see what options he had available. We spoke briefly about what tire I was most interested in, and he did some digging to make sure that option was still available. Within a half hour he was contacting me to let me know that tire was no longer available, but they had a better tire in stock, and he was willing to work with me on pricing to keep it in range of what we had previously discussed. Three hours later my vehicle was in the air getting a new set of tires. Avoid those local discount tire shops. Mike and his staff provide an excellent service at an affordable price.Bottom line, Id be happy to pay extra for the service me and my family have received from Monroe! When it comes to tires or any other general needs on my vehicle, Im going to trust Monroe to get it done in a timely fashion and at an affordable price!

Imagine having a tire light on and working with Monro in the past went to the nearest one only to be told that the person we were talking to was the only one in the building. Comment: The mechanics here are awesome. My family brings all of our vehicles here because of the service provided by Matt and Mitch. We prefer to not let any other mechanics touch our vehicles. Lately though, there have been times when we have called to make appointments and we talked to Mike the manager to schedule them, we have shown up and the appointments are not in the book and they sre not able to fit us in so unless Matt or Mitch are the ones who answer when we call, we do not bother making appointments. Also noticed the manager smoking in the bay areas by where the mechanics are working on the cars. I havent noticed on our vehicles but I would hate to get a car back that smells like cigarettes since we dont smoke in our family but some people may have asthma and something like that could trigger it as well as it just doesnt seem safe to be smoking near flammable stuff like that and being indoors (regardless of the doors being opened or closed). I will follow these mechanics if they were to ever leave this location. Love that this location open on Sundays now.

Comment: Ive been going hear long before they were even Monroes and have always been happy with them. I went in a few weeks ago for an oil change and for what I thought was a problem with my brakes. I was told it wasnt my brakes but they couldnt fix what was wrong at that time but that I didnt need to worry about it and could just fix it next time I got an oil change. This past week, the noise was much worse and I was now more than convinced it was my brakes (and they even sent me a post card suggesting it might be time to have my brakes checked). I called and they got me in right away and I explained the situation and that I was disappointed to be back after just a few weeks. They looked at my car and found it was indeed my brakes. They sincerely apologized for missing it the first time and assured me they could fix me up now. Then the managed offered me a discount on the fix without even asking him to. He said he really valued me as a customer and didnt want to loose my loyalty. I really appreciated that they didnt try to blame me, or pass the buck, or even throw each other under the bus, but took responsibility and did everything they could to make it right for me. Things get missed sometimes, but how you handle it says a lot about a company.

Comment: Great service!! Just went through there for a leak under my dash seeping into my floor mats, and Mike was just so pleasant and reassuring, a true hero among men. Steve went above and beyond - give this guy a trophy or a 21 gun salute or something! He used a shopvac to sop up as much of the fluid as he could, DESPITE not having to or being asked to. Comment: Was caught in a horrible thunderstorm late Saturday night, lost a tire, and was stranded in Kzoo. Called first thing Sunday morning and Steve took care of me immediately. They didn’t have my tire at that location, Steve drove to another location, found the last matching tire in town. Changed my tire, quickly got me on my way back home. Good pricing, prompt, friendly service. If I lived there, I’d definitely go back...but I’m glad they got me quickly on my way back home.

Comment: My brakes were completley shot i mean metal on metal barley any stopping power. They got me in when everywhere else was booked, they quickly inspected my brake system and spent a lot of time getting us finacially set, they were not going to let me drive with my brakes in the condition they were in. THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. The most compassionate service station ever, i wasnt going to be able to afford it without their dedication to their customers and saftey on the road

Comment: Last month I had a series of issues with my car and brought it in to the Westnedge Monro. I worked with Bob to get them resolved. He was great to work with and most importantly to me, he was honest. Bob took the time to find what was really wrong with the car rather than just fixing parts, charging me, and trying to convince me that was what was wrong with my car. In my experience this is rare with mechanics...Today I got my oil changed with Bryan. They were quick, reasonably priced, and didnt try to rip me off (Ive had mechanics elsewhere charge me for more quarts than my car takes) or sell me on additional labor/fixes - a pet peeve of mine when I am just looking for an oil change. I am glad to find a shop I feel comfortable with and can return to.

But more recently I took my car in to get diagnosed after it wouldn’t start and was told it was my engine. Bob asked me what my budget was and I told him that I was just looking to salvage my car at that point, he was more than understanding and gave me advice on what I should do from there on. I will NEVER go anywhere else for repairs! I have never been pressured into anything and everyone has always been upfront and honest. Most shops dint want to help you do a job you have started but i could not get the bolts to loosen myself. Not only did Bob very happily get my rusted bolts off for free but Joe also was kind enough to weld my exhaust at the Cat i had installed so it did not leak. The guys I worked with were kind, efficient, awesome to talk to, thorough in their explanation of what was going on and why, and even beat a local competitor deal.This is what keeps us coming back to Monroe. I was recommended to go to Monro Muffler from a local Auto Store in the area.
