They called me and told me all that needed to be done they also understood that I had a specific budget I had to work with and they did everything to keep in that budget. They were kind, curious and helpful. I would recommend taking you car there for any service, you will not be disappointed. Comment: The tail pipe rusted off the muffler on my car. So I went to Midas to have it repaired. After an inspection by the shop I was informed I would need a new muffler and tail pipe. I was very happy with the quality of the work and the time it took to get the car repaired. My car was taken in at 3:00 pm and the work was done before they closed at 6:00 pm. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend taking your car to Midas if you need exhaust or suspension work done.

Comment: I visited the Midas in Livonia for a concern about my brakes. They were able to work on my vehicle immediately, no wait time at all. Within 5 minutes of the diagnostic, they told me exactly what was wrong and how much to fix the problem. We ran into a mishap with getting the rim off of one of my tires due to not having the key. The manager Alex was kind enough to drive me to the store I got the rim placed to get the key. The mechanics were very informative with explaining all the work they did. Due to a minor inconvenience, I was given a discount without even having to ask. Overall experience was 10/10. Serah’s bubbly personality was the perfect touch to make all the customers feel welcomed and heard when expressing their concerns. She even offered me food during the time I was there! No better shop out there!

Got my sons 2018 Spark back from another shop that repaired a trans leak and it had a noisy leak in the exhaust that wasn’t there when he took it in. Manny looked at it fixed it in a couple hours, verified my thoughts on how it happened and saved me enough money to take the missus out to dinner and buy the boys dinner later. I will be taking my car and the boys will take their cars there from now on for all their services.

He gave it the old collage try but I have to take it to my dealer to do a more in depth dig to find the problems . I also asked for an oil change while I was there & everything was just perfect . I had front brakes and rotors an oil change and my rear brake lights and turn signals fixed I got in and out of there same day in a few hours. Manny and Joe were awesome thanks guys Vanna White is in tip top shape... shes my town and country.I also met someone in the waiting room who is a lifetime nuclear engineer and inspector for quality. I asked him if I had brought my car to the right shop since he went there he said oh yes you will see many repeat customers here. The confidence of an inspector for quality on nukes is a pretty good endorsement.at least that was enough for me!this shop is my mechanic for as long as I live here. thanks guys!

Comment: My car started making a loud noise which my dealership’s service department identified as a broken flex pipe. The dealership advised that the part was on back order. After a lengthy wait and no ETA for the needed part, the dealership contacted Midas who assured them that that could make the repair. Midas repaired the flex pipe and suggested replacing the resonator which quieted another noise I had gotten used to. Now my car is blissfully quiet and I can enjoy listening to my radio without cranking the volume up. Manny and Nick were extremely helpful.

Within an hour, Nick called up to let me know that the team has discovered a crack in my wheel which was causing the pressure loss; and even presented me two solutions to repair or replace the damaged wheel. While I asked them to instead swap on the fullsize spare, they also provided great aftercare by following up via text to inquire about my experience and make a separate appoint to mount the new wheel and review the tire pressure monitoring system. Will say midas has always been a bit pricy, had my tires replaced at the redford midas before hand. But you get what you pay for. Great craftsmanship and communication, with speed. I also dropped off auto parts for O Reillys for awhile and probably visited midas at least once a day. Level headed people with common sense as far as I saw. The dealership really messed up my exhaust, and kept taking it back to look, and saying it was fixed. These Midas guys were so honest!! Comment: I had the inner threads of the O2 sensor on the exhaust side damaged due to corrosion when I was removing the old O2 sensor.I tried everything I could do, including using filers to expand the hole, torch to soften the metal and so on, but didnt work it out. I went to other car repair shops, every guy is saying I need to replace the whole exhaust pipe, including the cat converter, giving me a ridiculous high price.I happened to pass by Midas and asked for help there, they are truly thinking for customers! Very passionate, professional and frank! They got my car fixed by cutting off the bad part of the exhaust and welding a new part on. I ended up paying even less than the tools I bought for repairing my car by myself LOL...Definitely will recommend this one to others!

Comment: Theres Nothing Like Good Service and a friendly FaceThis Midas is very welcoming and efficient, I took my friend car in to be serviced, her appt. was at 4 and the expected wait time was about an hr. and they were done less than a hour. Let me just start by saying they exceeded my expectations. She had a groupon and they still treated us like first class... of course they tried to up sale us a BG, which is good for the transmission; however she declined and they respected her decision and continued the process. AJ was amazing very personable and down to earth, in fact hell probably yell at me the next time I go back for taking so long (insider) lol...Thanks again, guys dont change your quality of care!

Comment: I’m rating This place TEN STARS !!! THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY SHOP! This is a HOME for the locals ! We are treated like family every single time we walk through those doors! They put so much of themselves into their jobs and ALWAYS GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND! I promise there’s not enough credit to even give this store and the people trustfully working here ! Comment: I have been coming here for over 20 years (back when the business was WearMasters.) When this business became Midas I stayed as a customer and Im so glad that I did! They are honest, they show me exactly what is wrong with my car, and they fix it within a reasonable time at a fair price. Comment: I bought my car a year and a half ago from a used car dealership, so I have little knowledge of what has been fixed or done to the car.I recently had my rear/front tires replaced at Belle Tire and requested a quote for brake pad and strut replacement. They gave me a quote for each procedure which totaled over $700 in repairs. Having little knowledge of cars and knowing, at least, that I needed my break pads replaced I figured that I would get a quote from Midas as well. I called the shop and they told me to bring my car in for a quick, 30 minute, check up. After they took a thorough look at my car they informed me that all I needed was the front rotors and break pads replaced, but that my rear tire drum breaks were perfectly fine.Belle Tire quoted me based upon what I thought needed to be done, but Midas actually took the time to pin point the issue and were able to save me $400+ in repairs. I highly recommend their service and their honesty.
