Staff is friendly, attentive, and willing to not only answer your questions but take you to your vehicle, show and prove to you what theyre saying, and come up with an effective solution to get it repaired/replaced. First went to the Midas in Livonia, by the way they don’t care and he sent me to this Redford location.When I got to this location met me and talked with me and gave me attention and explained everything to me. What he thought it may be but again said was unsure until they got into it. Called me the next day and told me what it was how much it would cost and explained it all to me. When to go pick it up with my son, my son that has seen some places, even said how progressional they were. Cost was the same across the board from others that couldn’t see me for three days. Will be back if needed and will tell everyone about this place. One other place had similar customer service but they went above and beyond and actually showed they cared about the patrons.

Comment: My first time visiting this team will not be may last.My car broke down Friday morning. The tow truck driver discovered battery acid on the outside of my battery so he gave me a jump and told me to head directly to Auto Zone. I called AZ but unfortunately they didnt have anyone on staff to install a new battery so I called another service center and got a battery with them. They told me that my dashboard was indicating another issue but they couldnt get me into the schedule that day.I got home and called around only to find everyones schedule full until I called Midas. They told me to come right in and theyd take a look. As soon as I arrived they took my car back to diagnose the issue. The initial diagnosis was a sensor (deep in the engine) and it would take some time to repair.Rather than having me wait at their location, they arranged a free Lyft ride.When they called to tell me that my vehicle was ready, they gave me the great news that their original diagnosis was incorrect and my repair was almost $300 LESS!While I hope I dont continue to have issue with my vehicle, if I do, Im calling AJ and Rob.Fantastic team!Very clean lobby/waiting room. Complimentary refreshments.Free Lyft ride.Same day service.This is a long review. 😃

Comment: I needed some new tires since all of them were dry rotted. I also wanted to support my local business and found this place. While tire prices are a little more then say discount tire and a couple other places, they are way more professional and more family friendly orientated then a stiff corporation feeling youll get from other places. The building itself was really nice and clean.The employees were all cool and professional and got tires ordered instantly and installed quick with an alignment a couple days later. Absolutely no complaints and highly recommend getting tires from here if not other work too although I cannot personally vouch for everything else they offer.

Comment: I visited this facility based on a friends experience there. She told me They always listen, I thought that was great since I have two vehicles for which Im very aware of their condition. I just needed my four tires balanced after I had another facility replace the Valve Stems. They replaced the valve stems at a great price and informed me of the AAA or Military discounts that they would be able to offer me on other repairs if I needed them in the future. Once they completed my tires, I drove above 4 miles to a store, when I came out of the store and started my car, something electrical happened, and now my ABS and Stabilitrac lights were on. I called them back, thinking how can this be related. Jay told me to come in and they would scan it at no charge and let me know. I brought it back, and they told me wires were rubbing against the boot, and it was a coincidence that it happened right after my departure. They resolved the issue for me, and due to the circumstances, they did it at no charge. I thought it was great that they took me to the car and showed me the problem and then told of their resolution. Its hard to find a Machanic shop that is honest with you due to the privacy they have with your car, and then the bill goes up. Many customers have limited funds and it seems some Machinacs dont consider that when they bring up and over explain extra repairs. Im glad my experience turn out good, I felt positive about it. They did win a new customer with two older vehiches. I would recommend paying them a visit, they work with you to resolve your issue so you understand as paying customer should.

Comment: My check engine light lit up on my 2012 F150. Took it to the Ford dealer where my buddy is a mechanic. It was diagnosed as the timing chain. Said it would take 3-4 weeks just to look at it. I couldn’t wait that long so I drove to an independent and they said it would take 2-3 weeks. Stopped and my parents house and my dad recommended this place. We called up and they said they could take the truck right in and finish the job in a week. I was sold! Dropped the truck off that day. They diagnosed it and confirmed it was the timing chain as well. They kept me informed along the way and gave me a great price. Picked up the truck today (exactly one week like they said) and everything is running smooth! Jim is a straight shooter and I respect that. Great work guys.

Comment: Went to see Jim f/an oil change, tire rotation, and AC check. They rotated the tires, *and* reprogrammed the TPMS so it would display correctly. Oil change no problem. They refused to work on AC because it was under Mfg warranty. They did recharge AC at my request, turns out GM has a TSB on it. Ended up costing GM a pretty penny, not me! Thx Jim!
