Comment: I brought my car Monday morning to get looked at (I was having issues with the power steering). I didnt expect it to be fixed that day too and they were able to fix everything on it! Which was a lot more than I realized.They also called me before they fixed anything to go over the price with me. It was higher than I planned (because there was more wrong than I knew about). David even lowered it by removing the things that were 100 percent needed that day!When I got to the shop to pay, I was informed the price was reduced a little more because they did not need to replace one of the parts and took that charge off. I was so happy about their honesty here! I feel like a lot of places would have charged me for it anyways (I have had this happen before).I will definitely be coming back here in the future. My cars steering is the best its ever been, even when I bought it 2.5 years ago! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, David and team!

I had gotten an oil change the day before I left to Michigan and didnt get a chance to switch them before I came here and they were in a bad condition so I needed them replaced before the drive back. Caleb did me a huge favor and helped me out by replacing both of them for me free of charge and without an appointment just so I can drive back to Colorado with no problem (I had bought both filters separately). Such good people, really appreciated it and would definitely come here if I lived in town!

Comment: While staying at the Knights Inn down the street, my guys car tire was punctured from a loose screw in the parking lot. We filled it with air that night, but we needed to get it patched the next morning. -We didnt have a jack to put the spare on either.The next morning, we found Midas and dropped the car with them while we walked down the street to grab food. The rep explained he didnt think it could be patched, but theyd put the spare on for us.When we returned, the original tire was patched and the rep said it would be no cost to us. We needed to drive over 200 miles so they were life savers! Truly great customer service.

I placed a reservation online on Friday for a 12 to 2pm appointment.I was called early Saturday morning, and the service advisor got me in at 930am. He was very courteous and flexible, although the day was already heavily booked with repairs. The service advisor was non stop busy. Fielding calls, computer work, parts delivery, walk ins, etc.The mechanics were very professional and while I was waiting I observed how they treated customers with honesty and respect.Impressed with the operation of the business. Recommend this shop based on my experience.

Comment: My dash was lit up like a Christmas tree. Brake light, battery light and ABS light were on. As soon as I made it in the Midas lot my car stopped. Everyone from the person that took my call to bring it in, to the three different gentleman that helped me were very nice. They completed an inspection and realize that I had a few different issues. Im thankful that they talked to me about what I could do to get it back running because living on a strict budget these days my finances are strapped. It took them only a few hours to complete the alternator repair. I will be back to them to check things off the repair list.

Comment: Never being too Midas I was skeptical of a chain car auto repair shop, but this is even better than your local auto shop. You can schedule an appointment online and they respond super fast. I didn’t have a car issue that was listed on the online appointment form so I wrote it in the other section. Parked my car went into the lobby they pulled the car around for me into the garage took 20 minutes and they found something loose that was making the rattle noise tightened free of charge. I will be going from here now on and brining all my business there is honesty and being blunt about car issues is amazing! 10/10 going back anytime I have a car issue.

Comment: Was treated like royalty. They had a professionalism that is hard to find in todays business. Will continue to support this shop and the people it employs. Comment: I’d give them my business any day!I went in sept 4th on a day off to have some custom exhaust work done on my Durango. I’d been to a couple other places that morning to try to get the work done, they were rude and turned me off. I shouldn’t say it but I called Midas as a last resort, I spoke with Alan and he said he could get me right in. I arrived and waited less than 5 minutes and my vehicle was brought in and on the hoist! All were very friendly and I got out in a half hour at a good price, they did a very professional job. Thank you Alan and hats off to your mechanic ( sure wish I’d have gotten his name) on an excellent job! Your shop will no longer be my last resort!

Comment: My daughter recently moved to Grand Rapids and I was visiting her. Her car was making a terrible noise and she wasnt sure where to take it. We decided on this place. What a wonderful experience. Al was extremely pleasant. They were right on time. Nick came out and took us to look under her car. The muffler area was caked in mud. He cleaned it out as much as possible suggested that we get an under body wash and they sent us on our way with no charge. What a great first intro to getting service in Grand Rapids. I talked to the staff member at Muffler Man and he didnt even say good morning or anything. He acted like he didnt even want us there. My daughter and I realized the mix-up and came in this morning for my appointment at 2710 28 St. Paul H. was the clerk and he was perky and friendly as soon as I came in. It was really a breath of fresh air. His communication style is exactly what I like and expect with any business. The store was clean and professional looking. I saw a diverse staff working in the car bays also. They inspected my car and took care of me within 20 minutes. What I thought was wrong with my car wasnt as bad as I expected. I really appreciate honest people. I will switch to this location for all my needs. Thank you-- thank you-- thank you for taking care of your customers and being friendly. Comment: I brought my car in to have the exhaust fixed which had broken off in one area. The service writer was very polite and not pushy. He showed me that most of my exhaust looked great, as it was stainless steel. However the flanges that held the exhaust in place had rusted, causing the exhaust to break. He explained he could replace it, which would be quite expensive, or he could take out the damaged area and weld in some pipe. He said the rest of the exhaust looked okay, so he recommended the cheaper version. In my experience, most people would have tried to sell me on replacing the whole thing. Very happy with my experience. And my vehicle doesn’t sound like an airplane anymore.. that’s a plus!!

Where I encountered Jessie and explained to him what happened. He told me that they would get it right in and see what was going on. The bolt on my passenger side caliper came out, which caused it to jam my brakes. He told me that they would get it fixed up for me. They had me in and out in under a hour. They were amazing and we were able to continue our day of fun. We will defiently be back to have any work done in the future.

They discovered the repair that was needed was outside of what they were capable of repairing. Comment: I just want to point out that 2 of the negative reviews are not even for Midas, but for Suburban Saturn/Suburban Auto. Not sure why they were linked to Midas. I dont know what someone was talking about an $85 charge just to look at their car, because I know they do many inspections for free. Sure, they charge to diagnose and test certain things, but if it takes them an hour to test wiring and computers to make sure the right part is being replaced, I dont see a problem with that. Every shop Ive seen does that, aside from just pulling a code.
