They conducted a full inspection and provide a list of opportunities we should consider as well as provided their recommendations on what was critical and what we should keep and eye on. Comment: Best $85 bucks I ever spent. A complete car inspection (w/ less than 24 hours notice), for a potential used car purchase. Carfax is just a starting point. In under three hours, Jacob provided a detailed inspection report (bumper to bumper) and quote for any recommended services/repairs. They document the inspection with pictures/video so you can see for yourself. Much of what they found would be impossible to see on the ground or on a test drive. I ended up passing on the car, and consider the service a must have for any used car purchase, and will use them for all car repairs going forward.

Ive never had such excellent automotive service in my 30+ years driving!Mazurs in Pinckney came highly recommended so i just scheduled an oil change and multi-point inspection just to test them out. I received my inspection report by email while I was waiting onsite. I had time to review everything that was noted, including pictures of the start of an oil leak, BEFORE I paid my bill. I had all of my questions kindly answered with no pressure or guilt. Scheduled in 2 days for brake pad replacement. Customer for life!

Comment: This is the only auto shop around that I go to they are honest hard-working dedicated and especially detail oriented. One of my favorite features of this automotive shop is that when you take your car there for repairs they give you a 100% no strings attached free rental car which is huge for a lot of people because me personally I cannot be without a car for days on end. I extremely like their process of sending you a link so you can look at everything they have found wrong with your car and pick and choose what you need done. Chris and Brandon are awesome customer service reps. The master mechanics do an amazing job I’ve never had a problem with anything I’ve ever taken up there.

Comment: First, I want to say I am typically not one to write reviews, but feel compelled to say the team at this location deserves, at the very least, a 5 star rating.The Mazurs Total Automotive team here at the Pinckney, MI location is top notch. I ran into a situation with my vehicle, where, in the end, it was totaled. When my car was first brought to them, they set me up with a free loaner vehicle for convenience, and took the time to thoroughly inspect my car, putting together a plan of action for how to go about repairing the damages. They pushed my car in and out of the shop a few times, not only for the initial assessment, but also for the time when insurance inspector came out, and later/last (knowing the car was going to be totaled) for when I requested they help me prepare the car to be taken away. They switched out the wheel-set and removed some of the accessories on the car that I wanted to keep, and they made it happen with integrity knowing it would support me, which speaks volumes. They even went a step further and took it upon themselves to do the extra work making the insurance company cover the costs of the inspections and time put into my vehicle.I hold a lot of gratitude for the support they provided me and the family, and these days, feel it is difficult to know who to trust in the auto-repair industry. I believe this experience, I am choosing to share with you all, is a testament for why Mazurs Total Automotive in Pinckney, MI is the team to work with. I will certainly be back. - Brian

Comment: I needed a new/different motor replacement in my 2018 F150 with 88000 miles on it. The original diagnosis was not correct. However, with an extended warranty that did not cover a lot, Chris (the manager) was very helpful with the cost of replacements, as to not charge me too much out of pocket. I can only imagine the complexities of the motor swap, but the work provided is impeccable! They were friendly and precise with time line estimates. They definitely deserve 5 stars for work provided. Unfortunately during the engine swap, some features on my vehicle were activated that neither me or them can erraticate without me buying a new key for my vehicle. An extra $380 for a new key is a small price to pay for the work, but I am not happy about it. All in all good workmanship and communication.

Comment: We had a really great experience here!! My car had terrible vibration. I had taken it to a dealership, they wanted $230 just to basically diagnose the problem. We told them no, and took it to a reputable TIRE SHOP....specialize in tires right?!? Props to them, they balanced our tires for free. The vibration went away for a week and came back with a vengeance!! SO, here we decide to try Mazurs and Im SO HAPPY we did!! Our service advisor was Dave and technician was Jake. I wasnt gone from dropping off my car more than an hour and Dave called right away to tell us that we needed new tires. Apparently, the tires that came on my vehicle have foam in them and the foam was coming loose after only 24k miles on them. I had never heard of foam in tires. Dave told us that it is supposed to help with road noise. They got us new tires ordered and fixed that day! When we went to pick up the car the next day, they held on to one of the tires for us to see. I will definitely use Mazur again for service on my vehicle. Thanks guys!!

Comment: I took my GMC Sierra to Mazurs in Pinckney to get a quote for new tires. Brandon Casper, the service advisor, I spoke with was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I have been to many tire shops in the past, and too often the advisors try to sell me light passenger tires for my 4x4 truck. Brandon knew better. Comment: My wife and I have been customers for many years, and will continue as customers because Mazur provides things we dont find in other auto repair shops. 1) Information. They explain the cars systems and what is/needs repairing. The good explanations we receive allow us to make the choices about what we get repaired, and alternatives. 2) Quality. When they fix something, it stays fixed. Several times we have brought one of our 5 cars to the dealership, and had to return because the dealership didnt fix it. The guys at Mazur find the issue and take care of it. 3) Honesty. Once I had the exhaust manifold on a 2013 Nissan Frontier break. I brought it over, expecting to pay the $1300 to have it fixed, but Dave let me know that the factory drivetrain warranty from Nissan would cover this (I thought it was expired). Damn! Yup, dealership covered it 100%, and Mazur saved me $1300. I just really doubt I would have been told that at some other places Ive been to. 4) The Extra Mile. So many times Ive been here I have experienced their concern for the best way to safely maintain my vehicles. I feel like they consult with me on my maintenance plans, and Im not getting the hard sell. I used to own a 1997 AMGeneral Hummer, that I maintained at a dealership in Novi, that took over all the Hummer obligations From Detroit Hummer when they went out of business in 2007. One day in 2017 I was informed that the dealership was no longer servicing these trucks. The guys at Mazur took it on, and did major (MAJOR) suspension replacements for me, along with diesel fuel injection work. And through all this, they worked with a specialty Hummer parts supplier to have me buy the necessary parts directly. This arrangement saved me $1500 on parts (Hummers are expensive to maintain). Just awesome service.I highly recommend Mazur, and only go to the dealership for warranty repairs. Mazur does all my maintenance on our fleet (vehicles spanning 1972 through brand new, foreign and domestic).

I just purchased the car with 90,000 miles on it so I wanted to change the timing belt and water pump. While driving the car over there the front brake calipers started dragging so I had them look at them as well. They took care of the belt and water pump, checked out the brakes and said the system was fine...the car had just been sitting a while and needed some lubing and freeing up of a few things and they were fine. I worked with the Assistant Manager David Cowhy from start to finish on some tricky maintenance for my vehicle. David and his team provided a full inspection report, and he worked with me to prioritize several repairs and patiently explained everything they would do. He did not try to sell me on things I didnt need which is something I think many people are worried about when it comes to auto shops. I know enough about cars to know he was not lying to me, but these repairs were simply things I just cant do myself with my limited tools and time (and lets be honest, theres a very high likelihood I could mess up the repair and end up costing myself twice as much in the long run). The entire experience left me thankful that there are still reputable local businesses in my area and that I have found one so close to home (also the Pinckney location is a brand new facility and it shows!). There are also a few loaner vehicles available on a first come, first serve basis. This saved me a huge headache of having to find a ride to and from work while my vehicle was there. They identified several important and correct problems, but put them in a reasonable perspective regarding impact and urgency. I really appreciated this.Took my truck back in today. They fit me in without an appointment and promised to get it done by the end of the day. Price seems very reasonable to me.

They also have loaner vehicles that you can use while your car is in for longer repairs - a great perk so you arent too disrupted in your normal schedule. There is no pressure sales, but did review potential future preventive maintenance item(s). The facility is new, but general cleanliness was noticeably on the high end of detail and care. My impression is that there is a good level of pride that this business has with their facility and with their customers. Comment: I cannot say enough about how amazing Mazur has been. Originally we had just taken our one car there for routine oil changes and those alone are great! They update you along the way and send a detailed online report on your car (they even sent photos of a mouse nest we had in the air filter). Their waiting room is so accommodating with snacks, drinks, and a tv. Recently I took my car in for some bigger repairs. I accidentally dropped my car off before work a week earlier than my appointment. No one at Mazur even mentioned my mistake (Im still so so sorry btw). They repaired my car that day and sent text updates the entire time. They even texted me when it was a good time to call them for a quote. This was so helpful while I was at work because I could call when I was available. They are so very nice and explain things so well. I highly recommend Mazur! Customer service is obviously a priority to their employees.

I normally perform my own work on my vehicle but I had just moved into the state last week and was on the way to an interview when my fuel pump went out on the freeway. I was able to be towed to the nearest facility which happened to be Mazur. I had no way of getting the work done myself as I was 30 miles from my place. I arrived there close to closing time and they did their best to diagnose my vehicle but were honest about the fact that they wouldnt be able to replace the pump before closing, and that they were not open until Monday. David was very understanding of my situation and decided to offer me a free loaner car for the weekend so that I could make it to two job interviews on Monday when they would be working on my car EVEN THOUGH they normally dont loan to first time customers. I was not expecting this and I appreciate it very much as I was able to make it to both interviews.On Monday I got a call from David who was even nice enough to ask how my interviews went and whether I had made it to them. They had done a full inspection on the car, since I havve only had it about eight months and knew there were some suspension issues. When he called, he had priced out a quote for my necessary fuel pump replacement, as well as a seperate quote for the most needed suspension job. Again, I typically do my own work and will be doing the work they quoted me on, and David understood and gave absolutely no pressure and they even gave me a 1-5 scale grade on how necessary the work was.Finally, when I got there, they explained that my fuel level sensor was bad (which I had suspected) as they put the fuel pump in and the gas level was nowhere near the gauge reading. Again, since I am inbetween jobs and need to save a few bucks, I declined the service and David understood, no pressure.The price on the repair was totally fair, the timing was perfect on Monday, there was no pressure, and they went out of their way to make sure their NEW customer was inconvenienced as little as possible. All in all, the ideal experience for someone who works in the field and knows how most of the time this is not the case for auto service. Though I just met them, I would recommend Mazur to anyone. Thanks!

I first spoke with Dave when I was stranded in Ann Arbor with a truck that was having serious transmission issues.
