I really appreciate that they are honest and speak to me in a respectful informative way. I found that sometimes at other mechanic shops, the mechanics will speak down to me when I ask questions, or make me feel like Im wasting their time. Comment: I originally took my 2013 Honda CR-V in for some necessary but expensive repairs. After receiving my car back, there was a new and different sound in the area where they had been working. They had me bring my car back in and gave me a loaner car to use while they looked into what was wrong with mine. They were able to find the issue and repair it, all under warranty. They had good communication throughout both trips; and listened to what I said about my car. Trips to the mechanic can be stressful. However, I felt that Master Mechanics was honest, professional, and cared about doing right by their customers.

Comment: We broke down on the interstate. Called 4 different mechanics and Master Mechanics was the only place that could help us. They even recommended a tow truck company, which was there in less than 15 minutes. We were from out of state and traveling home. After finding out our transmission needed to be replaced and that it would not be fixed for a week. The owner helped us figure out a way to get home, he suggested a Uhaul and even gave us a ride to the Uhaul place. They were nothing but kind to us. We wish this place was closer because we would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you again for your amazing customer service!

I took my car in for an inspection to my dealer, and they seemed to have invented a total of $6,000 of repairs needed to be done. I recently had my car in for routine maintenance and it was pointed out that my brakes were bad, front worse than back. I was advised how long I could drive without the repairs and I was given a rough estimate of the costs. I had the brakes repaired last week and my car was in and out in less time than the original estimate and the cost was very close to the rough estimate. The men were pleasant and straightforward(of course in a professionally good way). To be specific, I certainly didnt get a rip-off vibe from them because they let me know I had more usage- in percentage, on my brake pads and gave me the option of waiting or getting them changed out. My appointment was for 8:30 and my truck was set within an hour so they got me in and out basically, and I know they did a fine job because I was able to stop much better. Comment: First review I have written ever cause I think they are that great. I went here to get my Porsche 944 Timing belts adjusted. I got the car back and it has never been better. I usually do my own maintenance but up at college a lot of things are harder to do. They did an amazing job, car has never been smoother, and they definitely know their stuff. I’ve used them once and will be getting an alignment soon. Again I do most of the work myself, just changed my rear brake pads the other day, but if I ever run into something I can’t fix, I know exactly where to go. Great service and clearly just a bunch of people who love cars and getting them back on the road. Was first recommended by a user on Pelican Parts and I’m glad they did.

Comment: These guys have to be the nicest and most honest mechanics I have ever encountered in my life. Motor blew halfway from Chicago to Detroit area, wife and son ended up stranded and Ken was extremely helpful and accommodating.Turned out the cost of the engine is basically the car’s KBB without even including labor, has stored my vehicle for two weeks until I FINALLY found a buyer offering more than basically what the scrap yard would pay.Made a terrible situation a lot better, and has continually stayed in contact to help me figure this absolute nightmare out.I wish I lived in Kalamazoo so they could be my mechanics. Comment: I have taken my car here three times now and each time the guys here have been nothing but Professional, Honest, & Kind.I have been having issues with my car not wanting to start and they did let me know I should have the battery connections & Starter replaced, well I only had the battery connections replaced at first, even though they told me my starter was getting bad & will need replacing soon. Well they were correct & now they have to change my starter for me. I really like how they break down their cost so you can see where your money is exactly going to. I also really like that they call you to explain everything thats going on with your car and let you know what they suggest is best for your vehicle before they start working on the car.I would highly recommend them to everyone and anyone that is looking for a great Mechanic that knows what they are doing & talking about and wont give you the run around.

Comment: I bought my first car about two months ago, turns out when it was sold to me it needed to be repaired because it was leaking oil. I called this shop and they were able to get me in with a quick inspection. Came back and they told me a few of my valves and gaskets were leaking. Next thing I knew my car needed costly repairs. They were able to work with me on the payment and they even gave me oil change and new spark plugs. Ken was very helpful in letting me know what was going on and how long my repairs would take. Comment: When looking for a great mechanic, the most important quality is that they have honesty. Jammin is honest, upfront, and very helpful. I had a dealership quote me for 1300 dollars to replace my wiring harness, they told me it would be the same cost to repair it as it would be to replace. When I went to Jammin to get a second opinion he said he could repair it for 300 bucks. 3 months later I havent had one issue with my wiring harness. The price was extremely reasonable given the amount of labor required for such a job.Most importantly, they are honest. I was thoroughly convinced that my car would need a new flywheel in addition to the clutch, and I told Jamin as much when we spoke on the phone. After getting the car apart he let me know that the flywheel was in good enough condition to machine and reinstall on the car. A dishonest mechanic would have preyed on my preconceived ignorance and just sold me a new flywheel. I called a few places and Master Mechanics had the best prices and were by far the most convenient and flexible. I took my car in in the morning and had a doctors appointment in the afternoon so I needed my car back by 2pm. I called to let them know the situation and they were super accommodating. They always called when they said they would to give me an update on the timeline and they had my car done with plenty of time to spare, even after hearing a squeaking from my breaks and fixing that too. They were very friendly over the phone and in person and readily helped me with my car. I was all finished up in one day which was a great feeling for me. And they didnt overcharge me like others might have. I will definitely be returning to them in the future.It’s been a few months now and I have returned to Master Mechanics. This time my car overheated very badly over the weekend. While they are closed on Saturdays, Jammin received and returned my phone call on his day off to schedule me for early Monday morning. They were kind and caring, even Jamin was nice enough to pick me up and bring me to the shop once my car was finished. I cant recommend having your car serviced any place else. Theyre very professional and honest, which is rare these days. Now my car runs smoothly and quiet thanks to Master Mechanics and my motto is you get what you pay for.

Didnt end up getting repair here since I couldnt wait overnight for the part, but was treated with excellent customer service and a good explanation of what was going so I could explain it to another mechanic in Chicago. Comment: Today is my second visit this month to Master Mechanics LLC! The first visit was for them to check the brakes on my 2007 SAAB 9-3 while I checked them out. I believe it was during their first week, and I was quite impressed with the workmanship and the customer service!! Yesterday my car informed me thatIt was time for service. I was able to call, and come in today to have my oil changed. I was in and out in less than an hour!! I am so pleased to know that I can have work done on my car in KALAMAZOO!!!UPDATE: Had some major work done on my car today, 12/28/17! Jammin was able to get the parts and put them onto the car in a timely manner. I was also able to see the broken, defective parts after the repair. I had previously had him service my Mini at Auto Analyst and he was great. I called him on a Thursday and, based on my schedule, my car was fixed the following Monday. It was nice to be able to use the secure drop box to drop my key and car off Sunday night.
