Comment: I needed a new battery but Autozone wouldnt install it due to the location. Came here and for some reason their price for the same battery was much higher. They were very transparent about it and said I could go buy it at Autozone and bring it back and they would install it free of charge. I did that, and they installed it quickly and gave me the old battery so I could get the core charge refund from Autozone. I appreciate the honesty and helpfulness Mr Muffler provided for no charge and will be back for any future issues.

Still a great place, but they are changing their name to Greatwater 360 Autocare.Great place and very honest on what you need done. They have been for my wife and I for the last 4 years. Great place to get your oil done and while you wait you can walk over to Target. Call ahead before going, its always been busy, but thats what I expect with a great place like this one.December 2020 update -My wife needed new breaks. They did a good job and located another issue with the struts. They did a great job, and I feel safe driving my van.

We dropped our car off on a Wednesday evening after hours, heard back from the shop early the next day and picked up the car before they closed that day. They have some cool technology that sends a text with the estimate and photos that was really helpful! My car is running great and it was a very fair price. On top of all of that, my unlock button on my key fob wasn’t working when I dropped it off and now it does! I really appreciate the fix on that! We will definitely be using this shop for all of our future needs. I wish we would have found them sooner!

You pay for the service you get here, so if you have a “buddy” mechanic that isn’t a flake then maybe you can get a lower price, but my experience is they don’t try to upsell or make up problems, they just fix the actual problem well, and then charge you for that service. It’s actually a surprisingly good and well versed full mechanic shop. I have some repairs likely coming up, and I’ll be taking my car back here.

Comment: Battery and brake light replacement, needed. Justin (manager) was very helpful and had one of his mechanics pick me up when I told him my battery was dead and had no way of getting there. I was able to have the mechanic jump my battery and then I drove it to the shop. The mechanic followed me back to the shop and informed me that my brake light was out.Spent a little under an hour and all repairs were made on my vehicle. As usual, Kozak Mr Muffler, was able to get my 12 yr old Taurus SHO back on the road and running great again.

Got my vehicle towed here to get inspected but ended up needing to scrap it due to the vehicle requiring more $ than it was worth to get it fixed. As a younger woman who has experienced shops trying to give lists of problems with my car that need to get done in order to take advantage of me, I am extremely grateful for Mr. Muffler. In the 3 years Ive taken my car here, Ive only had one time where they suggested something else be taken care of other than the reason I brought my car in for, and they brought the car part out to me in the lobby to show me what needed to be done and why, and it was a simple and cheap service. They are timely, very fair in pricing, and I trust them which is a great peace of mind. I will never go anywhere else! They are very busy though (Im sure because of how great they are!) so I suggest coming in first thing in the morning or calling to schedule an appt. so you know you can get in. I am so blessed to have found an honest and trustworthy auto shop, they go way beyond mufflers, their knowledge keeps me coming back not only for oil changes, exhausts and brakes they know everything about motor repairs. This is the one and only shop that I will ever trust. I am 52 yrs old and have been to many snake shops that try and rip you off and make up other repairs that YOU HAVE TO DO THIS ASAP my very first experience with them was for only a oil change (BTW are only 20.000) and when the tech came out and asked who owns the red Honda Pilot I cringed because I thought ohhh nooo here we go again but this experience was really was the start of my faith and trust in Mr Muffler..... now lets rewind a year before I found Mr Muffler, I was going to a Tuffy near my home and I just bought my Honda and brought it to them because it had a slight exhaust leak Tuffy told me that I needed a whole new exhaust in order to fix the exhaust leak he told me around 900.00 I was upset and told him Im just going to wait until my exhaust is completely in need or repair before I do this and I really didnt trust this place so off I went, well now back to my story so Im being approached by the Tech at Mr Muffler and he says you know you have an exhaust leak and I told him yes I know but I am not willing to replace my exhaust in order to fix this Im going to wait until its necessary, he laughed and said NO you dont need a whole exhaust I can repair this for 80.00.... I was so shocked and said well OK, so he did what he said and I drove away not being able to hear my engine running at all I was just so elated that I found this place and this is where my story began now 9 yrs later and tons of return visits with other cars I have to brag again about Mr Muffler. I went there on Feb 1st 2020 because I was smelling burnt rubber and realized its my serpentine belt on my 2006 4Runner so I brought my car to them and they told me that 2 pulleys and a relay were bad, they priced it fairly but it was a bit more than I could afford at this time so they worked with me on the price and I accepted, well to my surprise when I returned to pick up my car and pay the price that I was quoted they told me GOOD NEWS your relay was still good so we reused it and we only had to replace 2 pulleys and because the repair was quicker than it was originally priced at my bill will be 200.00 less!!!! Where do you ever hear that.... ONLY AT MR MUFFLER THATS WHERE!!! I truly LOVE this company and all of their employees are super nice and their honesty and integrity you just cant find this hardly anywhere anymore but I did and I am a forever customer. Comment: I had an electrical fire inside my car on Hall Rd and pulled into the median to put it out. As we were waiting for the tow truck driver to arrive, Mike, one of the employees at Mr. muffler stopped to help and make sure we were OK. He was so helpful, took a look at my car and recommended we drop it off at the shop. Monday morning they called me within 15 minutes of opening, were able to get started on my car right away, and had my car finished by early afternoon. They were very thorough about what happened, extremely helpful in explaining what exactly needed to be done, and their prices were very reasonable! Comment: I worked here for about 6 months as the lube technician, while i was there everyone’s vehicles were handled with care by all the employees, all of them are very knowledgeable on what they do. Comment: Auto mechanics are a tricky breed. Not all of them can be trusted, in fact ALOT of them cant be. Ive been ripped off BAD by other mechanics, and i always end up coming back to Mr. Muffler. Sometimes i run into unique problems i cant figure out with my car or dont have the right tools to complete the job. I bring it to these guys and while they do charge a bit more from other shops they treat me with respect (most places dont since Im 20 years old) and they have solved many problems Ive had that are un-ordinary from regular automotive work since my car is modified. Half the time they will just give me advice on how to fix the problem as they understand i like to work on my own stuff if i can. This to me says a lot about a shop because obviously they dont make money off doing this but does consume their time.

Comment: Muffler repair great, fast and affordable. Cant complain. But then i needed a new midshaft bearing and they told me its a hard part to find gonna need a whole new shaft for around 1000. But i found the bearing was available at any auto shop for about 50 bucks. Could and would have continued my service there but now i wont go back in fear of being upcharged...... update. Within 24 hours i get a call back from the district manager who was full of apologetic and super nice fixed the whole problem and thats the customer service I feel every business needs. Therefore I absolutely will continue my business here and again thank you very much for the return call! Great people.

I was fortunate enough a few weeks ago and I went in for my normal oil change and struck up a conversation with Jerry (who was the owner but I did not know at the time) I can tell what a special and caring person Jerry was. I can see this in all the people who work there. I trust Mr. Muffler with all my cars and I even had my son take one of his friends Megan Ford Escape there and I paid for that oil change to because she is such a great person. Comment: A piece on my car broke on my lunch hour. Mr. Muffler was recommended to me by Gerber Glass and Collision after I had them look at it and determine it was safe to drive to repair. Dean and Tony were very friendly, took my car back and looked at it right away. More than the initial problem was discovered in the diagnostic phase, but when I explained to Dean that I didnt have the money to take care of all the repairs, he was very understanding. He prioritized the repairs for me on paper so I would know what needed taking care of first and called to have the part brought in so they could fix my stabilizer bar and make my car drive-able again. I was in and out in less than two hours and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely return in order to have those repairs or any others that I needed done. Great guys and great service!

Comment: Great place A+++ service and staff. Broke down on the way home from Port Huron, barely crawled into this places lot at 330 in the afternoon on a Friday. Phil was very friendly and efficient. Comment: Hard to believe that my dealership as well as Bell Tire would recommend a customer go to another shop, but they did. We were referred to Kozaks Mr. Muffler. Phil was very professional and answered all of our questions upfront. Jeff is the welder that worked on our Jeep and let me tell you, he went out of his way to explain what or how our unique fix could be done. He offered his opinion If it was my vehicle, I would do this............ Very professional and we were more than pleased with the results! If you need any muffler or other auto repair work done, I highly recommend this group. And for an even bigger benefit, they have three locations. Comment: Update: I was contacted by owner and they fixed my radio and went out of their way to make things right. Also apologized for overcharging labor and worked with me on that. I will be returning.I have been very happy with this business until yesterday. They had to do some warranty work and charged me 50% more for labor than when I was there 2 yrs ago & $33. more than a competitors quote for the labor. He tried to tell me it wasnt covered until I produced the original receipt that stated the part had a lifetime warranty. Then when I left my radio doesnt work. I didnt go back. They would probably charge me to fix it. Not happy.

Comment: This location just wanted to sell me parts for my exhaust instead of just fixing or replacing a pipe i asked about. The person behind the counter was very vague about times and repairs not a good practice in my mine. avoide this place at all costs they only want your money and will sell you parts you dont need.Update, After a call from the owner (Jason) and some good feedback on both sides clearing up some misunderstandings, he took care of my exhaust and turned my experience around I now definitely would recommend this shop over others.

Comment: I personally have nothing but great things to say about this place.Jerry was great he did not blow smoke up my ass or try to sell me stuff I did not need.He gave me a couple options on how I could fix my car.Plus I was watching and listing to how he dealt with other customers.Very professinal and he even honored a coupon from another place.The guy was lost and came to there by accident.Jerry took care of him for the same price as the other place.Plus the staff was all around great and I will be driving there from port huron to get all my work I need done on my car.Thanks again guys for everything

Comment: We have been there a few times now and they are VERY honest and well priced. When I take my car in for an oil change I do NOT have them telling me 5 things that need to be replaced ASAP. I also had taken my tire for a patch at a tire store and they told me 3 I needed to get my shocks and struts replaced within the next month...that was around $900. I took it to Mr Muffler for an oil change and asked them to check out my shocks and struts and told me, according to the manual one of them needed to be replaced, but by looking at them they would definitely last quite a while longer. They definitely have our business now.

Within a half hour,I had a new muffler and I was out the door at a very fair price.Tim and the staff were professional, courteous, and efficient.They are a full service garage, and I plan on using them in the future.

Comment: Ive been going to Mr. Muffler for a few years now.Their price and the quality of their service is what attracted me there.I return there anytime I need to get anything done. Their labor is fairly priced and the quality of their work exceeds the industrys standard. What I like about the shop is the personalized service you receive, their honesty and their high quality standards.They will tell you if they cant get a job done OR if they think someone else could do a better job. For a transmission issue on a previous car they sent me to Leonards Transmission in Roseville. That guy turned out to be the god of transmissions.Ive never went there for tires so I cant give a review on that.Truthfully, it is common sense to bring your car to a tire place for tires.Ive had them install new brakes, install a new fuel pump, put in new plugs and ignition coils.I will definitely have them install new struts and shocks that are due next year.Theyre doing a great job and Ive recommended them to my friends, 3 of which are now going there! My family is now exclusively going to Mr. Muffler.An added bonus: When I was looking to buy a new (used) car, Mr. Muffler inspected about 8-12 vehicles for me FOR FREE until I settled and bought my Saab.They didnt complain once, they were happy to help me pick the right car and Im very grateful for that. How many places do you know that would offer this type of service?They inspected a good 4-5 vehicles for my GF as well before a G6 came out clean and we purchased it. We havent had a single problem with both of our vehicles and we continue to bring both vehicles to Mr. Muffler for our services.These guys are very competent, I would trust them with any type of repair because if they cant do it, theyll know who can do it and theyll send you to the best!!!I wish I could give 10 stars!!!

Comment: Ive been using Mr. Mufflers services now for more than 11 years. They are honest, hard working and do a great job. If there is something you need that they cant do, theyll let you know up front and, will try to point you toward someone who can. Besides doing good work, the owner Jerry Kozak is a man of INTEGRITY. He will not allow any who work for him to cheat his customers. I recommend Mr. Muffler to any and all!!
