Comment: I live in northern Michigan and was traveling to my daughters, when my low tire pressure warning light came on. Ended up I must have picked up a screw going though all that construction. The guys at Kirks got me right in and put a really good patch plug combination in my tire. Great repair. Fast, friendly clean shop. I have worked on many cars in my life and I know good mechanics when I see them. I have already told my daughter I think she could get worry free work from them. Comment: I had a major oil repair service to correct an oil leak on my 1993 Ford Econoline 150 van. After one week, I noticed another oil leak on my garage floor.I called Kirks auto and explained the situation. They immediately apologized and said to bring the van right in. They fixed the problem and even found another part that needed to be replaced. The repair was under warranty and there was no charge. And due to my inconvenience of being without my van for a few days, they did not charge me for the new part that had to be replacedThat is the type of service. That’ll keep me coming back to Kirks auto.

Comment: I had never even heard of Kirk’s auto until Wednesday May 23, 2023! I am so happy that someone from Firestone sent me to them.The people that work at Kirks are amazing! As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm smile by Paula. I was introduced to to Tom, he runs the shop. He is really a friendly guy. Then there’s Thomas! He is one of the nicest people ever! He is very knowledgeable in his work as an electrical mechanic. He was installing an inverter and two batteries into my ice cream truck. He told me he had a couple questions for me and asked me to come with him to the truck. Thomas showed me where he’d like to mount the inverter and showed me where he thought the best battery placement would be.I am very happy with his work, he even fixed my music box. I can’t say enough about Thomas, he is an awesome young man!Let me tell you about Paula, we just seem to hit it off. We talked talked. And laughed together. I just can’t say enough about her she is such a beautiful person with a beautiful heart to match. I have never in my whole entire lifetime gone into a shop and had the receptionist sit and talk with me the way Paula did. She sat next to me and we shared pictures of our children and talked about them basically until my truck was done. It was an amazing experience.I cannot recommend Kirk’s auto enough. They they have easily earned 20 stars and they have gained a new customer.I highly recommend you take your vehicles to to Kirk’s auto and get to know them as they fix your vehicle.P.S.Their chairs are extremely comfortable and they have cold bottles of water available for those who want a drink.

Comment: I cant recommend these guys enough. I recently bought a transit 350 and the heat in the rear stopped working. I couldnt figure it out so I brought it in for a diagnostic. Honestly they could have told me anything was broken and I would have believed them. Fortunately though they are an honest business and told me the only thing that was wrong with the heat were some articles of winter clothing that had been wedged into the heat vents. Lol. Cheapest fix possible! On top of being straight shooters they got me in for service a 3 days earlier than any one else and it was half the price of there competition.Cant say enough positive things about these guys. If you dont give them a chance, i gotta say its your loss.

Not only did they give me a hell of a deal on the tire, they recommended I get all four new ones and gave me the greatest price I couldn’t find it anywhere else! Comment: I was from out of town working on a friend’s home.Had emissions problem (DEF) with my 2012 GMC Denali 2500 Diesel. I knew I could not make it home, so went on line and found Kirk’s Auto Care that worked on diesel’s. Dropped it off on a Tuesday and they said they would get it right in since I was from out of town and they did. After testing various components of the DEF system, replacing 2 bad NOx sensors, flushing out storage tank, calibrating flow of def into exhaust, I had my truck back. Costly yes $$$ but diesel’s and def systems (parts)are. My advise is do not think that all DEF fluids are the same. I made this mistake using the auto stores brand and it cost me dearly. Treat DEF fluid like your oil and buy the best.Thank you to Kirk’s Auto Care for a professional experience and know if I ever need diesel services in the Detroit area that I found the place that I trust, working on my Diesel. Thanks again for your professionalism.

Comment: I do all the work on my vehicles myself (WorkingWithWimberley on YouTube), but with this 2015.5 Cadillac Escalade ESV, I was unable to service the “sealed” 8 speed transmission. The transmission has a know shuddering issue. GM has refused to recall it. However there is a TSB for the repair procedure (18-NA-355). I made an appointment at a Cadillac dealership for the fluid exchange service. Once I arrived at the dealership, they told me they didn’t have a transmission tech and then they attempted to explain to me how complex the procedure is. They made no effort to book me at another dealer or solve the issue. So I contacted Kirk’s. They actually took my Escalade the same day. They performed the procedure flawlessly and now the vehicle shifts great. They were also priced better than what I was quoted at the stealership. I have already sent multiple people there for alignments and will continue to do so going forward. 5 star rating for sure!

Comment: This is really an update. Our wonderful roads got my right rear wheel out of round. I took it to the experts and again got that great personal service and excellent work. A few days later all was well and I was back on the road and in search of the next pothole!! I went to Kings Garage in Farmington Hills to find out about a rim leak caused by our potholes. They referred me to Tire One. They said that Tire One does all their alignments and rim repairs because they are the best around. After my great experience this Dennis and crew, I have to agree. I arrived at the appointment time, and they took my car and removed the tire and put the donut on. I was told my tire and rim would be ready in 2 days and it was. When they called to tell me it was ready, Scott suggested that I may want them to check the alignment. I said yes please and if its off go ahead and do the job. It was and they did. They called later and said it was ready for pick up. When I went there, I received the alignment report and my bill. I was very surprised how reasonable their prices were. Also they cleaned off and re-stowed the donut. Excellent service by a great crew. Thanks Tire One!! Skip

I called these guys and they were able to order the tire and get it in same day. The service is super fast and everyone was friendly.
