Comment: Been a long time customer of Hopkins. Had many exceedingly positive experiences with Larry at the helm. So of course we took my wifes 2014 Cherokee here for some suspension work. I was very pleased that the new owner Eric and his techs are continuing the trustworthy and fair priced service in our community.I appreciated that they took me around back to see my work being done. Got to discuss the repair in detail with the tech (which was like talking to and old friend). Michigan roads had oxidized some of the suspension components pretty bad. So I was impressed when I got back there and the tech was on his knees on the shop floor with a pneumatic tool cleaning off all the crud from the old parts. If youve never done any of your own repairs on old rusty vehicles, I can tell you its not fun (and sometimes comes with surprises). Ill be a future customer for sure. In fact, Im already planning on taking my truck there for a performance exhaust install.For what its worth, Im a bit of a shadetree mechanic myself (and I work for an automotive parts supplier) so I know decent work when I see it. I just dont always have the equipment, expertise or time to do all my own repairs. But.... I do know enough to feel confident recommending that others give Eric a shot for their auto maintenance and service needs. Oh - and they are super nice folks too.

Comment: Wonderful experience with Eric and his staff at Hopkins! We were in town from Oregon visiting our daughter, who lives and works in Oxford. We were relying on our daughter’s older van for transportation and discovered a serious safety issue with a tire, which made the vehicle un-driveable. Eric got us in last-minute and took care of the problem along with a couple other things that needed attention. Pricing was very fair and work was done quickly. Eric is a family man and understood our predicament. I feel great knowing that our daughter has a good mechanic to keep her vehicle running and safe. Thanks Eric!

I am traveling and he offered an option he could provide to fix them and also recommended I try another place down the road if I wanted new tires. I own a 2011 ram truck and I thought my water pump or alternator was going in a turnout just to be a serpentine belt. They replaced the belt within a day and the price was very reasonable! Comment: I called for a quote for new plugs, brakes, and rotors. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He quoted me lower than other Oxford businesses and charged me 30$ less than he quoted me. My car was done in a couple hours. I asked for a tire quote, he told me I didnt need tires and to wait until we get through pothole season and then call him in the spring. The owner had the opportunity to make a couple hundred extra bucks and didnt take it. As a single woman getting car repairs, this was so much appreciated. I will continue to use this business and recommend him to anyone who needs work done. Honest, quick, friendly, and more than fairly priced service.

All I know is he took the time with me and never acted like I wouldnt understand what he was saying. Like I said on a Facebook post to the people who suggested him...........I got to keep my 1st born. You wont be sorry.........
