Comment: I dont usually write reviews but this place definitely deserves one!!! This is hands down the best auto shop I have been to around here! As a single lady who does not know a lot about cars I have always felt like the annoying girl who asks dumb questions to the mechanic. Let me just say that when I first called to inquire about any opening appointments to bring my car in the gentleman on the phone was so friendly and informative! He took the time to explain what may be wrong with my car and made me feel comfortable. When I dropped my car off I met Phil and the amazing customer service continued! He was so friendly and helpful! He called me when they got done inspecting my car and went over what needed to be done. My car was done on the same day and they even gave me a discount! A few days later the owner had reached out to me to make sure the work on my car went well and make sure everything was great! I am just so impressed at the level of service that I received from start to finish and I will be continuing to bring my car here!

I had some major repairs the last time I took my truck in. The guys promptly let me know about what needed to be repaired and got me back up and running again. Maintaining a vehicle can be very expensive lol but this shop is very honest and you can trust that you are getting the best price.

I went to Draves that was at this location for years and when it switched to Higher Standards I was hesitant to try them but I’m glad I did. I do recommend these guys, so far they have done a great job on anything I’ve thrown their way. I even had an opportunity to talk directly with the owner and he is also very knowledgeable and hands on.On a side note, he (the owner) was nice enough to give me a ride home while they worked on my car. That proved to me that he actually cared about the customer experience.

In the meantime, I started hearing a rattling in the engine compartment. Based on Google reviews and recommendation from someone my wife knows, I wanted Higher Standards to check out the CV axles and noise. Well come to find out the axles were fine and a heat shield connector rusted/broke making the more recent noise. $50 dollars later and same day service I had my Subie back! Thanks Higher Standards for honesty, quick turnaround, professionalism, and saving me a lot of money!

But the owners and staff here were amazing in being able to promptly get me in. One of the issues was even an immediate safety one and they stayed late to get it fixed for me without charging me any overtime costs. They are professional and very clear in explaining issues and answering questions. As a younger female, we always are concerned about mechanics just trying to take advantage of us, but these guys have 100% earned my trust. They took care of everything and returned my truck to my new address all while I was out of town. They worked around my schedule and did an excellent job for a fair price. I had an electrical window problem on the drivers side and a lock problem on the passenger side, and some belt issues under the hood. My car now is running in tip top shape, all issues resolved in a timely manner. After leaving the shop I tested her out on the expressway and she handled like a champ.They later in the week, checked up with me to make sure she was running fine. Thanks guys for awesome service!

I don’t plan to ever take my car anywhere else!Original post: I have never been somewhere with such friendly and cheerful service! They were so accommodating while I waited with my 4 month old daughter in their waiting room. They allowed me to use their desk as a changing table and provided me with bottled water so that I could make my baby a bottle when she got fussy. I am beyond impressed with the owner and all of his employees! I do not plan to take my car anywhere else in Midland.

I got referred by 2 other repair places (who were too busy to help me with a coolant-leak emergency) and Im so glad I did! When I called, I told them I needed help ASAP and they made room in their schedule, got me in right away. When I told them everyone else was too busy to help their response was, Were busy too, but were going to make time to help you out. Never had such friendly, honest, fast and reliable service in all my 20 years of dealing with cars. These guys take the time to explain everything, are very fair, courteous and genuine. Comment: Love these guys. Dave, Skip and Josh very honest very knowledgeable and able.Ive had a factory recall done on the window switch at the dealer. Got the car back with the dealer telling me there was an electrical problem which had to be searched out for a diagnostic fee. Took it to Dave and Josh to find our the switch needed to be programmed and the dealer didnt do his job right to start. Thank God I went to them instead of having the dealer check the electrical for a problem. Dave and Josh had it fixed in about an hour.
