Comment: I got my breaks done for half the price that the bell tire shop was going to charge me and he was able to replace the break pads and rotors for me in a very quick time and was extremely kind to me. Being a young women I hate going into shops since I have been taken advantage of before and I didnt get that feeling at all with this shop!

Comment: I needed several things fixed on my car. Brakes, side view mirror replaced and tail light cage replaced. Sam the owner told me to drop it off when he opened at 830am and I was told it would be ready by the time I got off work at 5pm. When I arrived to pick up my car , he showed me all my old parts that were replaced. The car was ready on time. Sam was pleasant to speak with and walked me through the things he replaced and showed me my new brakes. Most places arent that thorough. His prices were reasonable and the work was great.

Comment: We have had Metro Harper Auto for our auto mechanics for approx. 2 decades. We have found the owner, Sam to be very honest and professional and above all, very reasonable. We have experienced other auto service centers that were comparatively over priced, did work that required us to return several times, including even dealerships. Things have been tight during these tough times as far as getting parts or consistent help, but we would continue to recommend Metro Harper. Some of the reviews on here are totally unfounded from our experience that give the business a bad rap.

Comment: Sam (the owner) is an awesome mechanic. He is by far one of the best shops I have been to. Not only does he actually drive your vehicle around to test it, but he will tell you that he needs to put it up on the hoist before he gives you an answer on what it might actually be. I have been going to Sam for about 7 years and I have had everything repaired from the most expensive jobs like a transmission to a engine. To the least expensive jobs like brakes. He charges you a reasonable price and he lets you know APPROXIMATELY how long it will take and if it takes longer he will communicate that to you. I will continue to drive all the way to Clinton township to utilize his services because I trust him and his word. I have also recommended many people to him as well. Also not only is he a great mechanic but he offers 1 year warranty for almost EVERYTHING!!!! And yes that warranty has been honored on 2 different occasions. I Thank you Sam for being one of the greatest mechanics I know HANDS DOWN!!!

Comment: Sam helped for $10. I had a flat tire about a month ago, and called State Farm. My wheel was rusted to the hub (mid winter), so we couldnt replace it with the doughnut. State Farm agreed to tow to Sams place. He got me in quickly, freed the wheel, and put the spare on. I will ALWAYS go to Harper Auto Repair.

Comment: I have been going to this place with multiple vehicles. Sammie gives me far better prices then any other shop around. So far Ive had no complaints.these guys even work on Audi! Finding a reasonable Audi repair is almost impossible.
