Comment: Had a great experience at Hals Auto Clinic on 7 mile in Northville. I needed my my rear brakes pads & rotors replaced. I had received a quote from a Subaru dealership for this work that was several hundred $$ more than what Hal quoted me. I am a senior on a fixed income and I really appreciated their pricing for the same work. They even took a bit more off because I was able to use one of their coupons. The office staff was kind & explained all that needed to be done very clearly. I received communication by text & direct phone call about the progress of the work and pick up time. I would highly recommend Hals Auto!

It now runs like it did when I bought it almost 9 years ago. Brandon made sure I received the coverage I was entitled to under what is now my second extended warranty. The parts and repairs that weren’t covered under the warranty were very reasonably priced. I have also trusted them with my daughter’s car. Hal’s treats you like family, and my family will continue to go there for years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Comment: Underpromised, and Overdelivered! I shall return!------- I use my XJ Jeep Cherokee 2001 for work, so it is a necessity for me. I explained this to Manager Brandon and Ace Mechanic Mike. My bolts that held my rear shocks all snapped off from use after 19 years. I had to have my Jeep towed to Hals because of the severity of it. It was in the afternoon when they received it. Brandon & Mike both answered my questions knowledgably, Brandon gave me a fair & honest price, had a shuttle take me home since I didnt have a ride, and Mike came in early the next day to repair it to get me back on the road because I needed it. Phenomenal service all the way around. Thank you Gentlemen. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

They found other issues I was not sure how couldve existed so they showed me what was going on. Theyre kind & never begrudge you a 2nd opinion. Make sure you get the correct address due to then having 2 locations pretty close by. Might be confusing unless you know which one youre appointment is AT. Otherwise, nice guys & decent service.

I know how difficult it can be to have a car break down or be so busy it’s hard to get it in for an oil change. But as long as you communicate with them they will go out of their way to help you! Being that I recently moved to this area I was very skeptically taking my car to a new shop that I had never worked on my car before. But they made me feel very comfortable leaving my car with them as really made it all hassle free for me. As long as I live in this area I will always bring my cars here!

I think it is worth the money to have an inspection of this type preformed at hals for piece of mind when purchasing aused car.

Comment: This is absolutely the best place you can take your car to for repairs. Adam, their service desk guy, is a most decent and polite individual you will meet. He never loses his cool and he works with you to meet your needs within your budget. Their prices are reasonable and they give you some break if you ask. My Dodge Ram conversion van has 192,000 miles and I think with Hals Auto Clinic help I may be still driving it when the odometer hits 292,000. What I like about them is that even if you dont remember they did some work for you and you go to them if they find it is under warranty, which they give for 2 years/24000, they honor it. I took my van last week because its heat was not working. They repaired it and to my surprise charged me nothing. I had totally forgotten that a year ago I had gone with the same problem and their computer had remembered it and they honored their warranty.
