Alex and his team has been maintaining my vehicles for a couple decades now from BMW to Cadillacs, I always see them before going to a dealer because I’m sure to receive fair pricing. Don’t be surprised by the level of professionalism and trust that these guys have built this brand on either when you visit. Just call or pop in and I guarantee you won’t dare trust your vehicles to no one else ever again. I don’t know why I never thought to give them a review until now as this is well deserved. Mechanics lie, are condescending and take advantage of us all the time and the problem remains OR is partially fixed.I gave up dealing with repair shops until a friend introduced me to Alex. Reasonable price for multiple issues (brakes, rotors, headlights, struts) and my car was fixed and returned the SAME DAY!Recently, I went back for an entirely different issue. I worked with Mo who was the same, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I needed a full set of tires, wheel balance, electrical issue and once again my car was fixed and returned the same day! Comment: I have been going here for auto repairs for years and also have sent any ppl to get service here. Alex is A1 with his knowledge of vehicles, upgraded technology like his digital diagnostic machine. Explains the problem of your vehicle really well and will even let you come back into the area and see the problem take pictures of it so that you wont feel like youre being taken advantage of. I couldnt really understand everything that he was saying so he even let me record him explaining what the problem was so I could send it to my friend and not mess it up LOLMy daughter was having problems with her gas tank and we thought she was going to have to get a whole new gas tank and his mechanics quickly came in to speak with her and let her know some simple things that she just had to do instead of changing the gas tank which he really could have said and we would have to spend all that money but he didnt he gave her some simple tips on how to do it, he took her over to the gas station which is across the street showed her how to put the gas in her hybrid Ford Escape and everything so I highly recommend you take your vehicle here for service, you wont regret it.I also sent my niece there to get her Ford Focus hood fixed on it and they couldnt fix it but Alex sent her or recommended a collision shop in the neighborhood that could fix it and that was open, it was on a late Saturday I think and she went there and they did fix her right up.So ladies at this Auto Shop you dont have to worry about getting the run around, being taken advantage of or ripped off here.Good Vibes all the way around! Even while just waiting in the lobby while they was checking the vehicle out or whatever other customers were in the lobby or customers that was coming in like we had just Good vibes going on everybody was just talking to each other choppin it up being friendly like that is what comes off here... even though this is usually a stressful time you know having to bring your car in to get repaired, might have to be without a vehicle, might have to come out a lot of money, you dont get that sense of all of that when youre in there, they have financing available if you cant afford to pay it all upfront, can get easily approved for and all that.

I brought the car and they were able to look at it, figured out what was wrong and fixed it in about an hour. It was not very expensive. I took my 2015 Ford explorer to a shop that was really trying to charge me almost 2500 to repair my AC. My AC worked the previous year so I didnt understand why they were saying I needed things that I didnt. After leaving that shop. I went to work and was talking to a guy that I work with and he referred me to Alex. I took my vehicle up there on Monday 6/20/2022 they diagnosed my problem and had it fixed the same day saving me damn near 2k. I live in Clinton Township and if I have any problems with my vehicle again Ill only go to H&A complete auto.

Few years ago my wife had an issue with her Ford Fusion and we took it to Alex and it turned out she needed like 3 thousand dollars worth of work but He told us it wasn’t worth fixing because another issue was going to occur and he was right transmission went out about a week later, moral of the story He could’ve easily took the 3 grand fixed the problem and next week trans go…. I got my Cadillac fixed and spent a whole $1,300 with them and guess what these people did? They took my catalytic converter off! Called Alex to tell him my car didnt start shaking until they fixed it all he said was well idk whats wrong and told me to call the Cadillac dealer for timing chain recalls smh long story short they put a straight pipe on it thinking I wouldnt notice because Redford auto jacked my car up 1st. They like to make it seem like theyre honest Jones so theyll take your business & talk bad about people that worked on the car before but turn around and do the same triffling thing. Never will get me or my wifes business again!!!!

Comment: Best auto mechanic in Detroit! Drove 6 hours to Detroit and on the way there our wheel bearing started to go out and by the time we made it was on its last leg. Definitely couldn’t drive home the next day without getting it fixed in a city far from home. After calling around to every mechanic we could find, we ended up getting a recommendation from our airbnb host, called H&A and although they were super busy already, they managed to get us fixed up on a Saturday and stayed open late to finish the job. I don’t want to know what we would have had to do if H&A wasn’t there to save the day. After estimating the cost, they billed us less than estimated. Wish I could give these guys 10 stars instead of 5!

Comment: These guys know there work , they now only gave me a better price tag from the original quote to any other place I talked with but got my truck back to life , I thought was the water pump but turns out was the thermostat housing spraying coolant just above my water pump making it look like the water pump , they not only caught the real problem way before they got to the water pump but the found a few other really bad parts on the way and really gave a good deal , this is now the only shop I go to as they even picked me up and brought me to my truck so I wouldnt have to walk in the freezing cold , if you want good honest mechanics who will help you get your ride back to good these guys are them !!!!

Comment: Ive had so many bad experiences getting my car fixed but the mechanic was really just ripping me off. But these guys are amazing. They worked so fast and have really reasonable prices (much better than I expected even though it was a big job). They even dropped me off at home and offered to pick me up. I live really close, but it was so nice of them to go the extra mile (literally). My husband normally does our repairs, but if we have anything that big again well be back for sure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Comment: Alex is the best! I came here after the tamaroff dealership gave me wrong diagnostics and It would cost over $1800. Alex gave me accurate diagnostics and fixed it right away! For more then half the price. My car was loud and roaring! It is now quiet and rides so smooth like brand new!My 2015 Honda Accord needed a rear new break pad, and right front wheel bearing.. my car was ready within 24 hours! It rides like brand new!I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!

Comment: So darn honest it will make you think he is your friend. Fixed my exhaust showed me what was broken and where. I priced the parts before I got there and it woudl cost me 185 in parts! My final bill was 320! But it was a alot of good work !!!! I watched the owner turn down 2 grand worth of work and explained to a young man he is throwing away his money by dumping money into his POS!!!!

Comment: Five starts isn’t enough for this place, that’s just how amazing they are! I dealt w/ Alex and the mechanic Mike, and when I say they take care of their people, that’s an understatement. They truly care about their customers and are HONEST, which most mechanics lack. Alex treats his people like family, and that’s a great trait to have! I got my sway bar links and outer tie rods replaced, and got a lil knocked off the price to compensate for my alignment. Alex and Mike are the best man, keep up the great work gentleman! After calling around to several different shops and receiving no help, I finally found H&A Auto. Alex and Moe were really great from beginning to end. After spending over an hour looking online at shops and reviews, Alex hands down had the BEST so I took it to his shop! Best decision I made and i have faithfully brought my van back to him for whatever mechanical work is needed! I can’t write a review great enough for the people at this shop.. He’s not a money hungry scammer like I feel like mechanics can be especially toward single women who know nothing about cars such as myself. One thing I really like is Alex is the only person you talk to.. meaning you’re not dealing with 3 different people the mechanic saying one thing and the secretary saying something else. Alex was genuine and respectful.He gave me a fair price on welding my Manifold Gasket instead of replacing it with a flex joint, which was starting to get loud and loose... I also had him removed my Dust Cover from my right wheel that was clinging and rattling something awful!!! All work was done well under an hour...as I was waiting. Comment: Great to do business with!Before performing the work needed on my car, Alex clearly explained the costs so I could make sure that the repair would be in my budget. I would expect that anywhere but what I really impressed me was the help he provided another customer while I was there. This long-time H&A customer of his had been to another shop that recently charged her $1000 to replace tie rods, control arms, ball joints and tires on her car. She continued to experience issues, so she returned to H&A. When he inspected her vehicle, Alex pointed out that these items done by the other shop had not been replaced with new parts and assisted her in documenting the used parts that were put on her car so she could dispute her being charged for new parts by this other shop.
