But listen if you have something major going on with your car….this is the place to go. While I was waiting I was able to witness how they treat their customers. It is total care. Parts for her car are a little harder to come by, but they came through every time. Their automated system of making an appointment and receiving notifications of the work that is suggested, was far more advanced than any dealership service department I’ve been been to. They were extremely busy but still agreed to look at it for me. They showed me exactly what the issue was, got the brakes freed so I could drive it home, and then gave me a printout with the issues that need to be addressed by my mechanic when I take it back to him. Couldnt recommend these guys more. Fantastic shop.

Where another shop had identified a bad part, replaced it, and stopped there, it was Griffins who fully identified the problem. The problem had persisted because the real root cause was a coordinated series of failures that required 3 parts to be replaced. Not only did Griffins have the knowledge and skills to fully identify and correct the problem, they also went above and beyond by adding oil dye and instructions for us to come back in a few weeks to reveal any additional leaks. A top-tier shop experience.

I was able to talk to both Bill and Jen about personal issues to make them understand my point of view. They spent all the time and effort at the initial consultation to make me feel comfortable to do the work. They installed a custom radio of my choice (apple car play) in a 2007 trailblazer. Along with a complete power steering job (rack and pinion, outter and inner tie rods, steering alignment, power steering lines high and low pressure, power steering pump and power steering fluid cooler) “side note” belle tire gave me a quote for this work and it was over 500 dollars more than what griffins auto clinic quoted me for. I went to belle tire to fix my steering issues. I was left with a 1200.00 dollar bill and the issue was not fixed. All they said was is here’s a bill for another 1950.00 you need these other items fixed. My question to them was why didnt you bring this to my attention prior to the intitial quote and work you did? Not only did griffins auto clinic fix my initial concerns, But they went above and beyond for only 500.00 more. Meaning the power steering issue, a new instrument cluster, a new 400.00 radio plus the wiring harness to allow my steering wheel to communicate with the radio, plus the three hours I hung around their shop feeling like family. I know have a vehicle I can drive that I feel safe and stylish in driving in. I am also a business owner myself and I know the growing pains of trying to “compete” with big box ticket companies. They went above and beyond for less money. I see a review from someone below this review about being “over charged” for fluid. All I read was their issue was fixed, yet they felt they should pay less. Garbage review, please don’t let the one review alter your opinion for the company. Comment: Bill is such a wonderful gentlemen helped my old 2002 Toyota Camry car with inch by inch issues and defects. He gave me a complete list and articulated clearly about each defect in my vehicle. Unfortunately my decision moved to buy a new car otherwise i would ask Bill to complete all repairs in my car . I called twice and he patiently explained each issue and when to resolve if something urgent. I definitely recommend this auto clinic to my friends for their car needs. Very professional staff and excellent knowledge on cars.

Comment: My car would no longer allow gas to be pumped into it. Griffin first checked for simple fixes but they turned out to not be the problem. They had to lower the gas tank to check and then replace the charcoal filter and vapor sensor. Each step of the way what they would do, how much it would cost and when it would be done was explained. After the repair advice was provided on how to avoid a repeat occurrence. The cost seemed fair. I would recommend using this garage for car service.

Comment: They were fantastic! The shop stayed in communication with us letting us know how things were going. Most importantly, our Taurus was there for just a little over 1 day. Thats great when you need to get back to work. Also, we received an email from them. That made me feel even more connected. Bill the owner is great, and his staff is personable and care about what they do. I highly recommend you take your car or truck to them! They are super easy to find too!

Comment: Having my car serviced is not generally a service I get overly excited about but my experience at Griffins was so painless I had to share! As a Volkswagen owner I had been warned that I needed maintenance at 40,000 and the services on that list were a mile long and the cost quoted was also a mile high. I called Griffins and was told to bring my car in...many of the services were routine for them and I had no reason to panic. On the drive to Griffins....in 2 degree weather...I found that my heat was also not working. I left my car and was prepared myself for a day of waiting around in a local coffee shop. In way less time than I expected...my car was inspected, maintained and I had heat again...in a fraction of the cost that VW had quoted me. They were professional and friendly and I am definitely putting the word out - if your car needs service/maintenance....get it to Griffins Neighborhood Auto Clinic!!

Comment: I discovered the Griffin Auto team almost a year ago, and Im so thankful for it. They repaired a transmission for thousands less than a dealership, and every time Ive been back since, Ive received nothing short of outstanding service. They truly care about their customers, and I strongly recommend that anyone take their vehicle to Griffins.. Its one decision I can promise you wont regret!They dont do anything unnecessary, and they pride themselves in their work. Comment: After being disappointed with some dealer experiences, I searched Angies List and found Griffins which was highly rated. Ive had Griffins perform oil changes, brake service, exhaust work, and a transmission flush. Theyre friendly and explain everything clearly. Recently, they added an online service that tracks each vehicles service history. I like this because I can easily look up the last time I had an oil change or brake service. Im very happy I found a shop that I can trust.

Comment: Have Zero to complain about when it comes to Griffins Neighborhood Auto Clinic. All I had done was an oil change but it was extremely convenient because it was down the street from my work and the price was un-beatable for the quality of service done. Griffins Online reports they send out are also a awesome bonus when it comes to keeping track of my maintenance. Overall Two Thumbs Up

Comment: Never have I ever received a call asking how my car was running weeks after I got a repair. I had to listen to the voice mail twice to actually process it. That, to me, is amazing customer service. The whole staff at the shop know what they are doing and seem to work perfectly together which is great to see.
