If you take a car in asking to fix something, and it doesnt need it, they will tell you. They have a shuttle service to take you to places nearby if your car will take awhile to repair. (Transmission, steering, starter, etc.) I found Grand Pointe Automotive on google and saw their wonderful reviews. My 1st joyous experience was my ability to call/text and they actually called/texted back. I have an extremely busy schedule and them taking the time to answer all my questions in spurts helped. Eventually, I was able to get my vehicle to their shop. They were busy, which made me appreciate them taking the time playing phone tag even more. I left my vehicle at Grand Pointe for a FULL inspection. They once again they kept me update and asked to approve what work I wanted to be done. They did not just inspect, work, and slap with a huge bill. Each item that needed to be service had a detailed explaination. They were not forceful or aggressive nor aggressive. Comment: I was blown away with how different the my car sounded after the repairs. Prior to Grande Pointe, I had tried several shops to get my car idling smoothly like it used to. My engine and trans mounts were causing me so many issues 😳😳!! Ive been struggling with my concerns since last year. I had no check engine lights, so other shops would charge me for looking and send me on. The engine ran so rough and I could feel EVERY SINGLE bump in the road. I had just had underbody work done (mainly wheel bearings, struts, sway bars, and shocks) but the car still had no cushion when I hit bumps/ruts/potholes. It was the mounts! The car runs SO much smoother and quieter now. I could tell when I drove off🙌👍. I started to go back to the shop and do a back-flip🤣🤣 I was so excited! Ive been to a lot of places, but Grande Pointe is top in professionalism and service. The techs were thorough. They didnt do a rush job. I appreciate it so much. I wont forget this. Comment: Weve been going to Grand Pointe Automotive for years and Ive never given a review before so I thought Id tell everyone how they take care of their customers....I was due for brakes a few months ago and when I took my car in they said, no need that they still had time left. They couldve lied and fixed them but they were honest. They recently fixed an oil leak in my Cruz and it was pricey. In the next couple of days it was leaking from another spot. They couldve lied but instead they said that because of what they fixed, it broke a seal so they were liable. Again we wouldnt have known one way or another. Comment: Ive always had a good experience with these guys! Whenever something goes wrong with my car, I always come here first. Since they are usually quite busy, it may take them a couple days to finally inspect and service your car. I would give them a call ahead of time to see how long of a wait itll be. But, once my car was in the shop and being serviced, it is usually done within a day or so. The service manager there is quite knowledgeable and he answered all of my questions. I never had any issues arise after bringing my car here.

My cloth seats and carpets were loaded with woven dog hair they managed to remove completely. There had been at least 10 different fluids of different mixtures and viscosities spilled throughout, and alongside the center console, but my leasing company will NEVER know it. There was 2.5 years of dirt, dust, makeup, food bits, and farm materials (I live on a horse farm, so mud, hay, ….manure, etc.) collected inside but they somehow made it look and smell completely brand new. I can’t wait to take my husbands King Ranch dually here for a full detail to surprise him for his birthday in a couple months. I highly, highly recommend this place and will be coming here regularly to keep my current and future cars clean like they deserve. Additionally, their staff was so wonderful and friendly to work with, they have a complimentary shuttle, and their office building, garage, and premises are very well kept and clean. Read the reviews and noticed 4.9 star rating so I figured I would see if they could impress. Truck was fixed and operable the next day and the mechanics even had enough sense to clean the undercarriage and there is now no evidence of an oil leak anywhere. Comment: Initially, I brought my car in due to a noise coming out of my rear passenger side but I also requested an oil change, brake pads and rotors, wheel alignment and balancing, and any other possible issues to be fixed. On the 1st appointment they fixed all of that except the noise in the rear passenger side which they did state it was either my sway bars or shocks. I opted out of the shocks and green-lighted the sway bars which did not solve the problem. Upon returning my vehicle I had the shocks replaced which was discounted and solved that headache of a noise. Even though it is somewhat expensive I would still refer them to a friend due to the honesty and also you can drop your car off and then they would provide a shuttle to drop you off where you reside and also pick you up once your car is fixed.

The personnel are super nice and friendly and they give you eye contact as soon as you come through the door. You get a warm welcoming feeling immediately. I wont say the other places name of business, but I got eye contact and that was about it...lol. Even if you are on the phone, someone could gesture and say, Ill be right with you, but nope, eyes down and talking on the phone. Comment: Grand Pointe was my third repair shop in my attempt to find out the cause of an oil/transmission leak in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After a few trips in and out of their shop, Grand Pointe finally located the problem. Admittedly, I wished it wouldve been fixed the first time, but we dont live in a perfect world! Also, a few other unrelated issues popped up during this fiasco--not their fault at all. What was important to me was their communication and persistence: they always called to let me know good/bad news, and I always had a call by the end of the day. Additionally, they were committed to find the issue. Cant find a repair shop who takes ownership and actually communicates with their customers? Well, I found one. Comment: I purchased a vehicle from a local dealership via their wholesale lot. The wholesale lot vehicles are as is and when I asked if I could have it inspected I took it to Grand Pointe Automotive. They did a very thorough inspection and provided me with a very detailed report at a resonable price so that I knew what I was getting into. I then ended up ultimately purchasing the vehicle and taking it back to Grand Point Automotive. Aaron and his team took very good care of me. They provided me with a loner and took a couple of days to fix the Transmission Pans, Oil cooler lines, Oil Pan Gasket, Oil Change, and some other miscellaneous items. This was back in the March timeframe. I have taken a few months to write this review to give all of the repairs time to fairly evaluate the work. I have to say Aaron and his team not only did an outstanding job, but also took very good care of me. I would recommend Grand Pointe Automotive to ANYONE looking for a fair price for quality automotive repairs. Thank you Aaron and your team for taking care of me and my precious caro (my family). Comment: I reached out to them about a couple issues I was having with my vehicle to see if they could even service it. I received a fast response back. Once I brought my vehicle in, the communication was excellent and continued throughout the entire process. The price to fix it was lower than expected. But the true revelation about this business on why I will go back and recommend them to others is this. An issue I was having with my vehicle turned about to be a very simple fix. They could have totally taken me for a ride and I would have never known the difference. But they did not. The honesty and integrity that this business operates with is top notch. Comment: I have sought service with Grand Pointe Auto twice for issues with my Silverado. Ive been pleased with the experience both times. The customer service is top notch, and the vehicle service was timely. On one occasion they werent able to duplicate the problem I had been experiencing, and didnt even charge me for the inspections/test-drives they had to perform twice. Most other shops would have made sure they found problems, and that tells me this shop is honest.

The waiting room is warm and inviting with complementary Wifi, so you can do work while waiting for your repair.With all of the auto repair facility and tires stores locally, its nice to have a one stop shop. It was late in the day, they got me in first thing and diagnosed the car. The repair was less than quoted and I have since taken another car to them. 40 mile drive for me to Grand Point from Waterford but well worth the drive.

Comment: My experience with Grand Pointe was first class. I had bought an older Audi TT and brought it in to be checked out. I was aware of some issues. It looks like all were taken care of by Grand Point perfectly, as well as a tire situation I was unaware of. Kyle, the service manager, was totally responsive to my requests. What I found incredibly surprising was he noticed when changing the battery, that the audio systems anti theft program shut the audio components down. He called me for the reset code. Most other shops would have just sent me home with non-working audio. This is the kind of attention to detail I had been looking for in my car repair needs. They have a shuttle service, and time goes quickly, as their driver, Mark, is an engaging conversationalist. Well done all around.

Comment: I recently took my car in for its 230,000 mile checkup. Their records showed that it was time for a trans service. As usual, I was able to pick the car up at the time they promised. The friendly counter staff provided a list of some other services to consider in the future due to the mileage. I started using Grand Pointe back when it was only Als Radiator. They have helped keep previous vehicles on the road with over 250,000 and 315,000 miles.

Comment: The clutch failed on my work truck and took it in dropped off before they were open using drop box ,I received call at 8:00 am and discussed problem, received est. they got the truck in replace clutch and fixed a exhaust leak and had it ready by 3:00 that same afternoon. truck is running very good like new. this is the second or third time that they have worked on my cars and every time has been a great experience. I cant express how happy I am with this shop and working with Aaron , Randy, and all of the crew at grand point. take my advice and give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Comment: Took a vehicle in for a hesitation between shifting and a engine light. They said it was due to a bad spark plug. They also found that the negative battery cable was corroded and said it needed to be replaced. They did a tune up and thought that the problem was fixed. The next day the problem returned. At first I was upset, and thought that I got taken advantage of. The price seemed high, so I took the car back and I explained how I felt to a manager. The manager took responsibility and stood by the work that was done, and also explained why the parts they use cost more than what you would find at NAPA (all parts used were OEM). The engine light never came back on but the problem was still there. They stood by there reputation and continued to troubleshoot deeper into the problem. After doing a software update on the vehicle (free of charge) the problem still remained. The mechanics troubleshot further, and concluded that the transmission was beginning to fail. The owner broke down everything that they performed to determine this issue, and also explained that the codes were all pointing towards a misfire in the beginning (which never came back after the plugs and wires were changed). The fault codes were almost masking the trans problem. Overall I feel that the work done was necessary and to the best. I havent decided if its worth putting a new transmission in yet, but the shop gave me a hell of a deal if I do decide to follow through with it. The customer service is more than what I expected and I would recommend GPA to others. More people need to post reviews, its the only way to be heard.

Comment: Staff was friendly and kept me updated on the progress of my repairs. I had it in twice to another service center and still having problems. After picking it up from Grand Pointe is running great. I did not use the shuttle service this time but glad to know it is available.
