Comment: I brought my vehicle to Gordies Garage for an oil change today. I have a 25 dollar credit I get to use from getting a front wheel alignment that i got from there before. They have a nice waiting area with comfortable chairs, phone charging station, TV to watch, coffee station, little table with chairs for the kiddos with a table top toy situation very cleanin the waiting area. McDonalsds is right across the street. I think they also have a shuttle if you dont want to wait around. I had a very good experience there. Very knowledgeable in there. Its a win! 100 pct. Very nice and customer friendly.

Keith and Jay really know their jobs and you can hear them working hard with vendors in trying to secure parts for customer repairs.But the mechanics are the guys with experience to understand the problem and repair the problem and insure that the customers job was done satisfactorily and they certainly do a great job. I have NEVER had to go back to them to fix a problem that was caused by inferior work on the initial repair or maintenance. The men in BLUE(mechanic BLUE or BLACK or GRAY)) are top notch. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about vehicles but needs one as my lifeline, putting an average of 600+ miles a week.....its an incredible feeling to have somewhere to go that I can completely trust. Comment: Gordies repaired my front end and fixed my A/C. The technician even showed the nasty mess where an animal had been living at one time. They went above and beyond vacuuming out the dash and ducts when they replaced the evaporator core. We have an aftermarket warranty that they were able to work with and they did all of the leg work. We tow a camper with out truck and the A/C has never blown colder and the truck has never driven smoother. All thanks to Gordies Garage.

I was really worried what a new system would’ve cost, so I really appreciate that they were able to repair it. They are a bit on the pricier side compared to my other mechanics, but I never mind paying because I know I will not have to return to question anything. I went in to get my car looked at and they provided me with a full descriptive inspection, while answering any questions I had. Now as a single female who knows little to nothing about cars they always check out to me because I do my research. Lol this time around I interacted with Keith who was very nice and continued to address me by my name! ( imo, very important to make your customer feel valued) so 6 stars if I could lol. I would highly recommend.! But make sure your money is stacked because they do great work and you get what you pay for. Hope this helps.UPDATE: 3/7/2023I towed my old truck to them once I found she had a gas leak. They know my truck for a couple years now. They called me back with a full description of what was wrong with her. I have spent GOOD money at this place and the owner did always tell me hey, your truck in bad shape, idk how she still holding up Im gonna fix this and that for you, but heads up. This last time, he gave me another FULL inside and out diagnostic test, boy was he right.( And those test arent free) ran me $300...I ended up junking her because she was becoming a money pit & The guys there tried to tell me, but I BET they could sense my stubbornness and I REALLY needed my truck AT THAT TIME. They KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING! You get what you pay for. ($$$$) #QUALITY!!#DISCLOSURE: MY TRUCK HAD A Salvaged TITLE! NO WONDER, BUT THEY BROUGHT HER BACK TO LIFE MENY TIMES. Keith was very friendly and professional, and explained in detail what was involved in diagnosing the problems.He explained that they were very busy, and it would 2-3 days before they could get to it, and they had it in the shop on the morning of the second day as promised.They went through my Jeep with a fine tooth comb, and found everything that needed attention. End result was my Jeep now drives straight down the road, smooth as can be.Even better than the dealer we bought it from.They did all kinds of work to it, and I am more than happy with it. My case is likely an outlier but I always get my vehicles back early, and never have to return because of something going overlooked. Also, their online appointment scheduler is nice. I was able to make an appointment the day before to get my Escape looked at. They opened on time. Took my car back right away and were able to come back to me with a clear description of the issues. I couldnt afford to get all the work done at once so they helped me prioritize those items I could afford which would net the greatest benefit to my familys safety. Keith worked with me. He was kind and patient and attentive and answered my questions. I worked in their waiting room which was clean and quite while my car was fixed THE SAME DAY. Between the evaluation and the fix I was there from 8 to noon. I think thats remarkable! They even let me use their WiFi to call into my conference call. Comment: I took my vehicle to Gordies after I began hearing a grinding noise in one of my front tires. I had a faint idea of what it could be, but definitely couldnt fix it myself. It was what I thought but much worse than I expected. Gordies not only took care of the initial problem, but they were able to get it back to me the same day. I also had an additional problem for quite a while. I had taken my car into several other shops including two dealers who could not diagnose my problem. After driving my car once, they were able to correctly diagnose the problem and they fixed it at a reasonable cost. They also do a very thorough inspection which included pictures of all the parts and explanations of the problems. Amazing. My car runs better than it has in years!!!!! Thank you.

It was a friday during the deep freeze and my truck was stalling I was expecting the worse and expecting that I wouldnt get her back till monday or so but nope they got her all fixed and taken care of the same day and I picked her up after work. Some people on here complained about that diagnostic charge but Im OK with it. My truck started stalling the week before and I had thought Id figured it out but she started again and with that diagnostic they were able to fix her correct the first time and not spend days trying to figure it all out because it seriously could of been a number of things also they said I will need some new plugs soon and I appreciate that they didnt try to pressure me Into getting it done the same day because no one enjoys having to say no sorry todays repair broke me Im gonna have to save up for that. I spoke with Keith who advised the turn-time for the first update which he executed on- as promised. I received a fair and knowledgeable assessment of the issue/potential issues and my car was back in my hands and running well one day later. Gordies has a knowledgeable, honest and fair crew. Keith took my feedback well and made sure my concerns were addressed and resolved. I rarely give out 5 stars for any review I write and when I leave a four star review, its coming from a place of being completely satisfied with the service Ive received. ***Keep in mind that you pay for a thorough diagnosis that doesnt go towards the cost of repair, but this is expected if you want to have a effective and lasting repair. As Keith explained, any person wouldnt work for free, so to expect a master mechanic to perform a diagnosis for free isnt truly a reasonable expectation. Its worth it if you want a repair that was properly performed.

These days its standard procedure for mechanics to turn and burn (they are paid by the job remember), but things are different at Gordies. Comment: Wow. What a honest establishment! I came here on the good word of a counselor at school for some headlight problems I was having. I left my car at the garage for the day so they could run some diagnostics for me and hopefully figure out the problem, whether it was electrical or something simple like replacing a bulb. They took their time and were very patient with me. Even though I asked a lot of silly questions, they never made me feel like I was dumb, and instead they took the time to educate me so I completely understood what the issue with my car was. Since there was nothing wrong with my car, they did not charge me for a diagnostic (most places Ive been to have charged me), and I left with my cars headlights functioning properly!AND they drive me back home while I left my car with them, and even offered to pick me up so I could get my car after they were done :) Awesome people!

Comment: Completely blown away by this place. I have an old junker that I typically do most of my own work on, and I always hesitate to take it into shops because there are plenty of things wrong with it. I had gas leaking out of my car so I wasnt going to do that myself, dropped it off at Gordies in the late afternoon and they were able to get it back to me by the next day.Typically I dont bother writing reviews, but not only do they fix everything, they didnt try to force me to fix a bunch of other issues (which the car clearly has). They did a complementary diagnostic test that included pictures so I could look over all of their recommendations at my own convenience. When I arrived to pick up the car they showed me the part they replaced, went over the paper work, and sent me on my way. Best part is that before bringing the car to them I had just swapped my winter tires for my spring tires and hadnt had a chance to fill up the air yet, nor had I told them this, but they topped of the tires with the correct air pressure as well!Overall I highly recommend this shop. Great customer service, quick service, and the price for labor is incredibly reasonable. Thanks guy!

Comment: Was referred here by a Dear Friend. My Daughter came first and was very pleased with the service and said she would definitely be back. I came for an oil change and a very affordable diagnostic check-up. Keith brought out my nasty(putting it lightly) filters to show and explain to me the importance of the clean filters. Putting my mind at ease, nothing major going on. The diagnostic report shows the things I should have done, the approximate cost and the urgency of having things done was explained. I definitely will be back. And, thanks, Mickey, for telling us about Gordies Garage!!!

Comment: Ive taken my car to many places but Gordies was the first to completely check my car out. Needed cabin air filter which was very overdue. Like the fact they didnt assume I did not want maintenance services. I drive all week long and its very important my car is in top shape! Very pleased with Gordies and will definitely come back!!!

Comment: With my husband and I relocating to Colorado due to the army (he isnt around to do this stuff), I had to get my van in to make sure it was ready for the drive. I expected to walk out spending at least $100 more than I did, and expected a list of things wrong. Instead, I did not need a bunch of front end work like I thought, I only needed a $9.99 tire rotation! They could have swindled me, made something up, but no. I really like that they took pictures of what they did and informed me, with a picture, of a leak that is covered by my manufacturer warranty. Now all I have to do is take that in with me to the dealer and saves a ton of time. Keith at the front desk was very nice, as were the other guys working in the office. I have lived down the road from these guys for 5 years and have been in twice, both times great service. Oh, super clean inside as well. I felt like my kids could wait there and not get that greasy mechanic smell all over them lol

Comment: My husband and I go to this shop for both of our cars and have used them exclusively for nearly four years. They are quick, efficient and always courteous. Their prices are in line with other shops, but their warranties and their workmanship are what keep us coming back. We have only had a problem with one repair, a problem that was not caused by them but bu a part, and they still replaced and re-repaired our vehicle free of charge.We recently moved across town, around 10 miles away from Gordies and on the same block as another reputable repair shop. We have chosen to continue using Gordies, however, because of their level of service, expertise.

Comment: Now I cant speak as a customer but let me explain why. First off, Im a female and my knowledge about cars is limited to fair. They had the perfect opportunity to exploit that. They could have taken my money and sent me on my way. However, that wasnt the case. Before they did anything they lifted the car and then asked me to come out and talk to the mechanic. The mechanic was very nice and explained thoroughly everything that was wrong. He told me that it honestly wasnt worth fixing because the frame was so rusted that it was falling apart. Very unsafe to drive. I had my reservations when I came there because I had looked them up before I came and saw a couple of bad reviews but I gave them the benefit because of how thorough a reply was to a disgruntled customer. You have to be careful these days because a lot of shops just care about the money. I have no doubt they are good at what they do but their honesty and kindness is what really left an impression. So to sum this up, if youre looking for a repair shop to trust they are it. I wish I could remember all the names of the guys I dealt with but I cant however they were all amazing. They even recommended a few places that give cash for cars so they actually helped me make money off my junk. Thanks guys, I found a newish car and youll see me in the future with my repairs. Im sure there will be plenty haha.

Comment: This is an honest and clean shop. These Michigan roads shook my car good enough to crack the flex pipe in front of the catalytic converter. Gordies Garage easily couldve charged me for a new pipe, about $150. Instead, Gordie checked it out and was able to patch the crack with weld, and only charged me ~$50 to do it. I definitely recommend these guys.

Comment: Have been going to Gordies for years and have never been disappointed in the service, professionalism and integrity. Clean facility with reliable repairs and fair pricing keep customers like me coming back year after year. They will get to the bottom of your problem whatever it may be, fix it right and stand behind their work. Was referred by two different friends in the beginning and have always told my friends they owe it to themselves to Get on over to Gordies for an honest estimate and repair !
