Comment: My car broke down in Grand Haven last week Friday, it was definitely my alternator. I called them up and Michelle was so kind and let me know to have it towed there and they would look at it that day. It was a Friday so I was a bit worried and they had a loaner car available for me to use, which was a huge bonus, and helped ease my mind. They did a full diagnostic of the vehicle and did not pressure anything but made sure to note all the safety concerns. My van was ready Monday afternoon. Amazing customer service as well as just overall kind. I highly recommend!

Went to drop it off and they didnt have an appt for me BECAUSE another business, EuroAsian uses the words Global Autoworks in their Google listing and that is who I had actually made the appt with. I decided to keep it at the real Global Autoworks on FULTON St. (Not Beacon) and I am so glad I did. They are the most knowledgeable, honest, professional, timely, nice, prople/place ever! Comment: I had an alternator fail on my GL320. GA replaced and corrected that problem effectively and efficiently. Later the car started shredding serpentine belts. They replaced the tensioner pulley and the belt. it happened two more times. It was eventually determined the alternator pulley was the culprit. They fully refunded the repair costs caused by the bad alt pulley and I didnt even need to ask. It took a few trips in but they always took care of me, the towing, and my transportation needs. That is a level of care and integrity seldom seen today. It is usually a complete waste of time to even ask if a shop will accept responsibility for a mistake, that is not the case at Global Autoworks. I drive from muskegon and pass many shops to get there. I am sold on the service, care and integrity.

Comment: I took my BMW to Global Autowerks for a minor issue. My car is equipped with a tire pressure monitor system. There is a sensor for each tire to ensure all tire pressure is consistent. More importantly is It warns if a tire is leaking. One sensor had failed. I made an appointment and received an estimate for a new sensor and about how long it would take to install. I was told one hour so I waited. Not surprising the car was ready we’ll under an hour and works fine. I like Global Autowerks especially for my foreign car repairs. Good work at reasonable rates and pretty fast.

Comment: Courteous and prompt staff. I came in for (1) belt noise and (2) an oil leak on the passenger side. Technician troubleshot a bad serpentine belt tensioner and a bad turbo. While I trust the diagnosis, I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation on the turbo. For example, is it the upper, lower, or both turbos that are causing the leak? Perhaps it would be appropriate for the technician to provide a more detailed outbrief (in person) at the time when the diagnosis is provided.

Comment: I recently traveled 4500 miles in my Land Rover LR4 and wanted to get an oil change and a benchmark of fluid levels from a local (versus Grand Rapids) service center that could be trusted to inspect and service a Land Rover. I was hesitant to use the usual oil service centers. I have never done business with Global so I thought this may be a good chance to see if this is a firm I can trust. My first experience was a positive one. Service check in was simple, told it would take an hour and it did almost to the minute. I was provided with a printed report of the service provided and the overall condition of my Rover including photos of oil level and the condition of my air filters. I plan to continue using Global for future service. Stay tuned.

In fact, they worked on fixing the problem that they created for three additional days and could not figure out what they had done wrong to impair its performance. I described the issue and the symptoms to Jacob and one of the mechanics and they went to work to not only correctly diagnose the problem but to fix in short time what the dealer could not do in almost four days. And, Global beat their own time estimate by a full day, putting me back on the road with a great running car. Comment: 2011 Tiguan less than 30k miles, with an engine warning light. Spoke with Global and drove in for an evaluation. They diagnosed the problem as a problem with the high pressure fuel pump. Rather than just suggesting a shop repair for about $600, Global suggested that I contact Volkswagen even though the warranty expired. Their reasoning is that the pump should not have failed this early. I contacted the Dealer and later Volkswagen Customer Service who stated that they would cover the pump if repaired at their dealer. Asked Global to change oil and otherwise check the vehicle, and later picked it up to take to VW. Talk about a great Company, Global will be servicing both my imports from now on. They did not even charge for the diagnosis as they explained it did not take much of their time. Dealt with three individuals while the car was there, all three were knowledgeable, personable and easy to deal with. Thanks guys!!!! This review is over a year old and is now being reported as last week. Not good.

After taking my Volvo to two different places to get the air conditioning diagnosed (including the dealership in Grand Rapids), Global Autoworks was the only place that could figure out the problem. I paid almost as much at the dealership to get it unsuccessfully diagnosed, as I did to have it repaired at Global Autoworks. Comment: Excellent service and communication every time, and lower prices than getting your import serviced at the dealership. Very happy with every service I’ve had done here and won’t be going any where else.
