Comment: Great service. I had a leaking fuel tank. They replaced the tank and the fuel pump since it was old, fuel filler neck as it was going. They also flushed the rear differential, changed plugs and gave the car a once over for 100k miles. They had misplaced the plastic engine cover and lost the nut, however they found it and ordered a new nut. Went to great effort to make sure I was happy and made it right.

Comment: Tom always makes sure I’m taken care of. If they can’t squeeze me in, he does what he can to get me on the road again. First time I went here with my POS 2004 Ford Taurus, they quoted me about $450 to fix the issue. I told them that was going to be really hard for me to afford but I didn’t have a choice cause I had to go to work. When I went to pick it up, it was only $250 as it went a lot quicker than anticipated and they passed the labor savings on to me. They forever got my loyalty after that. They maybe lost $200 on that transaction but I go to then for everything now cause they helped me out when I was desperate.

Instead of just doing it and charging me, theyre honest with me every time and tell me it doesnt need the work yet.They also dont upsell you, and any work they have done for me is always top notch. What more can you ask for from an auto shop?Wouldnt take my car anywhere else, these guys are the best.

I was in Bay City on business, from Ontario, Canada and before I left to go there, Id had work done to my vehicle which included new wheel bearings on the front. As it turns out, the drivers side bearing wasnt properly tightened and, after a 600-mile drive, my car had become quite dangerous. Georges took it in first thing on a Monday morning when they were very busy and had many customers to deal with. I was out of there within 2 hours, job complete (fixed) and my car running just fine. The price was extremely reasonable too. Hats off to these people - I will never forget their kindness. Shout-out too to the folks at Travel Inn down the road who told me to go there. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Comment: I had a severe gas leak on my Chevy cobalt it is a common thing for those cars, I took my car to Raymond’s auto repair on Columbus Ave. he was very unprofessional, complained about his life for over an hour. Took my car to get looked at he calls me couple hours later yelling telling me my car is leaking gas like crazy and I need to pick it up. And as I get it he says the same thing like I KNOW THATS WHY I TOOK IT IN. Priced me $600!!!! To fix it, so I called George’s they were very professional and friendly fixed it for $300 half the price Raymond priced me. Had it fixed in 2 1/2 days! Great place highly recommend and definitely will be going back for more repairs on my car!

Comment: On July 24th my wife and I were returning from our cottage at East Tawas. We were driving south on I75 near Beaver Rd. When suddenly our car started losing power and making a terrible noise. I pulled to the shoulder of the road and used my cell phone to call a tow truck. While waiting I googled a auto .repair shop and then I noticed that the one shop that I chose was closing at 6:00pm the time then was about 5:30The repair shop that I randomly chose happened to be Georges Auto Repair located at 820 N Euclid Ave Bay City Ml. Since we are from the Davison area I had absolutely no clue who George was..But I must say that God himself was looking over these weary travelers. The wrecker dropped us off at around 6:20ish and George had stayed until we arrived. Once there he took the time to quick check some things and said that he couldnt any more until the next day..Later our son came from Goodrich to take us home. He said that he was worried that we might get ripped off because we were strangers. He couldnt have been any more mistaken . George and his crew treated us like GOLD. George not only fixed our car a couple of days sooner than we expected but $50.00 dollars cheaper than he told us. George and his employees are head and shoulders above ANY repair shop Ive dealt with. I wish that I didnt live some 50+ miles away so I could have him do all of my maintenance and repair work

Comment: I usually never go to a mechanic shop unless its an emergency because I try to do everything myself. But well my car broke down and the car was towed to this place. The car was fixed in a timely manner and the shop advised me to get some other parts that were worn out. They werent ripping me off because the car, previously was pulling to one side when braking but as soon as the part they recommended to be changed was changed, that stmptom was gone.On top of that, the labor and parts were i would say competitive but again I wouldnt know because I usually DIY everything myself.The experience was fantastic and the owner was such a pleasure man to talk to and work with.I hope people use this shop rather than other shops around.*Im not hired by anyone or got paid from his place. Just wanted to leave a genuine review
