Comment: Probably one of the best collision shops aroundWe have 2 jettas in the family both were rear ended this year. One was brought here the other at the VW dealer. The one from Gentile’s looked great from the start did not have to go back for rework, meanwhile the one from the dealer had to go back in for an additional 2 weeks.Overall great experience, the paint blend is great, everything is symmetric, worked in timely manner.Im happy with them would definitely recommend!

Comment: I should have gone here first but I tried all the places my insurance company told me and none of them would touch my truck because of the aftermarket bumper setup. Not only did Gentiles take it on but they dealt with my insurance company completely so I didnt have to. The work they did was outstanding and John and the rest of the staff kept me up to date every step of the way. I cannot recommend this place enough! We called the dealer and were told since we didnt have an appointment it would sit on the lot for 6 to 8 weeks.Since we had a great experience in the past with Gentiles we decided to call and see if they could help. Mark Gentile went above and beyond searching for the parts to fix our truck.4 days later we picked it up. Great, fast service, Melanie was very helpful with the claim. We are back on the road. Comment: So grateful for their fast and professional work. I needed a new passenger mirror installed on my vehicle and the dealership couldnt get me in for 2.5 weeks. I called Gentiles at 330 on a Friday and they said if I could arrive by 415 with the part, they would install it that afternoon. I had it towed to this shop, and they were able to get me in sooner than my appointment date and get my car back to me in great condition. When I picked up my vehicle John walked me around my car and went over the repairs made with me and answered all my questions. Comment: I came here looking to just get a quote for a few scratches on my door. After going to soo many diff places getting quotes from 800 to 1400 dollars I figured Id just be let down with another high quote. I drove 45 min because of the reviews I read online. When I pulled up I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the facility was. I waited for my car to be looked at. I met Cody. After looking at my car for a few minutes he offered to try to buff it out for me. I asked how much will it be ? He said its complementary! My mind was blown. He came back with the supplies withing 10 min the scratch was 98 percent gone on a pearl white car. I could not believe it. I told him he made my year! I had lost all faith in humanity but it was restored today by Cody. Im still mindblown that there are some descent people left in this world. Im not sure what my quote would have been if I needed actual work done but I would trust anyone who works here. To the owner of this company I commend you for being a true leader and caring about your employees because they are the reason this company is successful. Comment: Very honest place absolute lifesaver! I had gotten about 10 quotes before I went to this place for a scratch on the side of my car from somebody who hit My car while it was parked in a parking lot and took off and the cheapest quote I got was around $800 ranging all the way up to $1,500. This seemed like a minor scratch but I was told by every other place I went to that it penetrated the base coat and that they would have to completely sand the whole thing down and repaint the entire door. The door is a special color its a pearl white that has sparkles in the paint and all of the places I went to were saying that it would increase the price by a lot. I pulled up at this place prepared to get a quote like all of the rest and a man named Cody came out and said that it looks as if it could be buffed out and that he was going to attempt to do it for free! This man completely buffed out the scratches in which case you cannot even tell there was any damage done now and put some cream on there then told us that it should not rust that its very unlikely but to keep an eye on it. This man never once tried to make a dollar of us and we were prepared to pay at least $800 considering that was the lowest quote we had gotten anywhere else. Based on all of the other places we went to if they could come close to matching the cheapest quote that we had gotten we were going to get the work done here because of their great reviews online. We drove quite some way to come here but I am really happy we did. Cody was very friendly, helpful, and professional and if I ever need any work done on any vehicles in the future theres no doubt about it that I will go to this place considering I felt like I was treated as a valued customer here unlike most collision shops Ive gone to where I feel like I am being completely taken advantage of due to these places possibly noticing that I am not very auto savy! Thank you so much for your kindness Cody, it is great to know that theres still people out there that value morals and just general kindness. I do not encounter kindness in generosity often anymore like the experience I had here.

For these two reasons I will only ever bring my vehicle to them.The first reason is the Pride they take in their workmanship. Gentiles does amazing work and they are proud to show you how they can transform something that came in looking hopeless and make it look beautiful again. Mark, Mark Jr. and John were incredible every step of the way in explaining what they were doing, dealt directly with my insurance carrier, and even provided text updates on the status of my repair. There is a reason they have been in business for over 80 years, and a big one is because they do such incredible work.The second reason is something that transforms a one-time customer into a lifelong one. The honesty and integrity of everyone in that shop, from Melanie at the front desk to everyone else I encountered is of the highest order. They were honest, (although initially I didnt want to hear how long it would take) but they busted it out and even got it done a little early, while still maintaining their high standards. Simply put, they are honest and they do what they say they are going to do. The 2nd was to wet sand some areas on an older car that is going to be wrapped soon and the last was for an insurance claim to fix my husband’s car that had a hit and run incident while the car was parked. Comment: When I first got my car, a week later I was involved in an accident and I took my car to gentiles. The Father Mark is the one that helped me when I first got there and he gave me a ride home. Mark jr. is the one that covered everything walk me through everything I couldnt ask for a more better job they stayed with me calling me and letting me know when my car was going to be ready. It was ready a week ahead of time both of them were as nice as could be. when I arrive there they gave me a ride home and when I needed to pick my car up they came and picked me up and took me back to my car. I wouldnt want to take my car anywhere else. I didnt think the car would ever be right again until I seen what how good of a job they did and it looks like it just came right off the line again it is beautiful. Comment: Just picked up my car which they said would take 3 to 4 days. They had it done in 2 days and the job they did was exceptional. It was a lease and I was getting a fender and fascia fixed before turning it in. The repair was flawless. The inside was pretty filthy to be honest, and I was going to clean it before taking it to the dealer. When I went to pick it up, I was amazed at how clean it was....inside and out ! This was my first time at Gentiles - it was recommended by a friend. If I ever need a repair done, this will definitely be my place of choice.

I was so glad that the insurance adjustor worked with me in coordination with Gentile’s Collision to determine the car could be fixed. Mark Jr.’s due diligence to secure the most cost-effective repair plan really was above and beyond my expectations. He gave me weekly progress updates, as well. Additionally, during each phone contact, Melanie at the front desk was professional and courteous. The quality of workmanship for rebuilding the whole front, paint, trim, etc. is phenomenal. Comment: I brought my car in for an estimate after the bumper was damaged by another car in the school parking lot. They made time for me to come in the next morning, and I got there a bit before they opened at 7:30 and they saw me and opened the office and helped me right away. Their estimate was $200 less than than the second place I went to. The work they did was exceptional, and they even repainted a part of the bumper that had previously been touched up (poorly) as we bought it used and it already had that scratch. Now it all looks the same and perfectly new. They worked very quickly and had it done in 2 days. At pick up,after the responsible party had paid the bill, we noticed some moisture inside the tail light, and on closer inspection found a crack in the plastic covering of the light that none of us detected before. Mark Gentilie offered to find a replacement light fixture and install it at no charge! He did within 1 day and called me back to bring in the car and he fixed it in 10 minutes while I waited. I was extremely impressed by the honesty, quality of work and friendliness/customer service and I will recommend them to everyone in need of auto body work!

Comment: So I have been here twice now with two vastly different vehicles: a 2013 Chevy spark and a 1999 Chevy express conversion van. The first had some body damage and couldnt turn properly because of a crash. They fixed it right up and it honestly is in better condition than before the accident.Just today I went back with my van that Im converting and just needed some help getting some bolts out that were rusted and couldnt be removed at home. Mark listened to me able about my plans, past and future and got all of the bolts I needed removed one way or another. In the end he didnt even charge me for the work and even after I tried to give him something anyways said It was no big deal.Going back here if I need anything for either vehicle and definitely recommending them to others 😁

Comment: I have used Gentiles since 2012. They are by far the best body and paint shop in the metro Detroit area. Mark Jr. is customer oriented and focused. Mark Jr. and Gentiles go the extra mile. They love and appreciate car guys like me. Most bump shops will just slam as many cars through as possible, not Gentiles. Tonight I picked up my 2003 Acura CL and the car has never looked better. Comment: I had my headlights out of alignment and I wanted to get that fixed. I called up here and asked if they could do it for me, and they were open to do it on the spot. Once I arrived there, the repair technician looked at my truck and told me itll be free of charge since this fix would take less than 10 minutes, I was completely ready to pay for the service. Fortunately and unfortunately I dont have any other experience with this repair shop, however, if I do have any body problem that I cannot fix and need fixed, Ill definitely come to this place.

Comment: Ill make it short. Got rear ended. Got estimate from another shop. Other shop not serious and found Gentiles. When estimating they knew where to look and even if the accident was not violent there was damage that was not visible underneath the car. They fixed it and I knew from the start how long it will take them to fix. Got the car back and heck it looks good. No trace of dents and the paint job is flawless. Worked with insurance and I had nothing to worry about...except the deductible. Very pleasant experience and quality collision repairs. Id say my car looks better than before the accident. Yeah...this was the short version.
