They did such a good job that used them to repair my other car.My first car needed new rear tires. I again purchased them from Tire Rack partly because of the price and that Fenkell will mount them. Their tire machine damaged one of the wheels and I alerted Fenkell about the problem. There was no argument and they told me they’d repair the wheel. There was no hassle.It’s easy to rate a business when they do a good job. The true test is the way they handle a problem. They were professional and polite.Unfortunately, this is a rarity in today’s world.Kudos to Fenkell Automotive.

Comment: 2021 Fleetwood Bounder 35K Class A gas motorhome. Was experiencing a rough ride and vibration near the front driver wheel. Needed an oil change and possible generator oil change. Service Advisor, Kevin, was very helpful and professional. I was able to talk to the tech that would work on the unit. “Pops” was very friendly and listen to and looked at my issues very seriously. Issue up front was a “missing” suspension leaf spring bumper. Pops took it upon himself to throughly check the chassis and found a missing bracket in the back used to hold the sway bar in place. The generator oil was last changed 11,000 miles ago but without much actual use since. Even though I authorized the replacement of the oil in the generator, Pops said it was not necessary. Was kept informed, via text messages, of progress and costs all along the way and the vehicle was ready when promised. Very pleased!

I received a call the next morning with the diagnosis which matched what I had assumed - they provided price- which I thought was fair.I was out of state once my car was ready, 1 day later, for pickup- but they had online payment available which was sooooo convenient and even went out of their way and parked the car outside with the key locked inside- this would allow me to pick up at any hour with my spare.I’ve had my car for a day and everything looks good- no more overheating! I’m very pleased with the service and the professionalism.This will definitely be my go to shop for any issues this shop Can take care of, going forward- happy to find a trustworthy knowledgeable car repair shop!

Comment: Additional post from most recent service: took a Dodge Charger in which had non functioning AC. Fenkell was able to diagnose and quickly repair the vehicle. They also tested, cleaned and replaced the coolant system fluid along with a worn serpentine belt. The repairs were done the same day while I waited in a very comfortable waiting area. Excellent work at a fair price. Highly recommend Fenkell for all auto/truck repairs and maintenance.Updated post: Consistent high quality work at a fair price without the long waits and delays. Mechanics are all certified and do an excellent job! Service advisors are very friendly and knowledgeable with no high pressure pitch to fix things which dont need to be fixed. Comment: The team at Fenkell changed my car from “sell it for parts” to “sell it as a running and reliable car” for a VERY reasonable price. I had a really bad day made worse by my car beginning to smoke while stuck in construction non-moving traffic in June 2019. I was close to a dealer and thankfully the car made it. The dealer called me with the estimate for repairs of nearly $3,000!!!! 😳 The car was a 2009 and in otherwise great condition, but I had just sunk $2700 in it three months before for other work. At this point it was costing me as much as a car payment on a new car. So I decided I would sell it for parts and began my search for a new car. While searching I had a nagging feeling that perhaps the dealer (not the best reputation) could have been mistaken on their assessment. I received a mailer from Fenkell, saw they were nearby and decided to see if they had a similar diagnosis on the repairs and costs. I could possibly sell it better if I had an idea of what was truly wrong with it. The team at Fenkell got me in right away for an evaluation and they told me the same thing as the dealer as to what was wrong ... sort of, because they could find nothing wrong with the radiator itself, only the difficult parts of the radiator (labor intensive and difficult to work on) their cost to me after the mailer discounts was $709.09. ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME?!?!? I went from “sell it for parts or donation to the scrap yard“ to having a fully functional van that I could in COMPLETELY good conscious sell. I pulled NADA and Carfax and listed all of the work done along with the guarantee on the work from Fenkell for a nice and fair price to a lovely family. The team at Fenkell helped me make that car whole again at a fair and reasonable price. They delivered what they promised at the date and time they promised. They were fair, honest, courteous, respectful, and kind folks. I have told many people about their wonderful service. I will definitely see them again for my car repair needs. Thank you!

Comment: Fenkell personal were polite and attentive. There was a noise radiating from my front left wheel. Turns out it was a heat shield rubbing against the brake whichthey repositioned. They also did a 12 pt inspection ($13). For the most part I was happy with the service but felt the $125 charge for diagnosis and repositioning of the heat shield issue was a little excessive. Having said that I will go back.

We reached out to Fenkell for a 2nd opinion. They did a diagnostic test to pinpoint the leak and then we’re able to complete the repair that same day for less than $350 all in. All with outstanding customer service and support. We will definitely be using Fenkell for all our future auto repair and maintenance needs!!

My daughters car needed front wheel bearings, and front breaks on her Toyota Corolla and they did a wonderful job. I made the appointment a week prior to that the person that answered the phone said you were booked up until Monday and she said I should get there as soon as you opened so I did. Because of the holidays I know I wasnt mistaken about the day or date because I told her I was surprised you were open that Monday.I got there and was basically told it was for the next week.I wanted to go with you guys so I waited, costing me $250+ a week for a rental which I wouldnt have had to do if you would have been up front with me. Im sure she made a simple mistake but I didnt appreciate being told that I was wrong about the date. Again any other time maybe but not that Monday being between the holidays, Ive sent many of my friends to you guys because of your reputation and all around good work and still will. But in my case a simple ( were booked up for 2weeks and cant look at your truck until then) would have saved me a lot of money and time trying to find someone else to put a new motor in my truck.Thank you for your time.*Update*Took my Kia Sedona in today and was very impressed with everything from setting up the appointment picking it up. Comment: Fenkell Auto is pretty unique, they offer a car care plan at a fixed price where you can come in and get your oil and filter changed and get your tires rotated for the life of the vehicle. When I bought my vehicle, used, in 2019, the dealer sold it with one of these service plans. Since then, Ive been to Fenkell for this service and have no issue getting my vehicle serviced and out in a timely manner. I do call ahead, of course, so not to come if theyre too busy. I would recommend Fenkell, for sure. For me their shop in Auburn Hills is local and I am a satisfied customer.
